Anxiety and Depression are two mental health disorders that are connected to each other. I know that a study I published over five years ago showed that among adults with congenital heart disease, those who were anxious were 19 times more likely to be depressed. My sister and I are interconnected through our mental health diagnosis of depression and anxiety, respectively. Due to her dyslexia, she has been suffering from depression, while I deal with anxiety and ADHD. We are not only connected by the eternal bond of sisterhood but also our mental health.
Again, I am attaching my artwork to illustrate my perspective on the mind, and mental health. Please show her the support that you have shown me. Your kind word and encouragement will mean a lot. Nevertheless, we would love to hear your honest feedback. What do you think about the poem. Have you gone through similar internal battle with yourself? As mentioned before, in her poems, she pours her heart out, one thing that is hard for her to do due to her dyslexia. Hope you will be able to connect with her emotion through her poems.
Like her previous works, in this poem, I can feel the raw emotion that my sister is usually unable to express verbally. Through these poems, I want to make sure that others can see the same raw emotions that I can see. I hope you can connect to her through her poems. She pours out her feelings and emotions dealing with depression.
I hope you enjoy this poem as much as I enjoyed sharing it. Don’t forget to check out my Facebook Page and follow me on Instagram @forevernij. Are you on Bloglovin?
