BITE BEAUTY Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Eggplant: This is a very soft, creamy, and moisturizing lipstick. I am amazed how much I love this lipstick. Furthermore, the color is really amazing.
BITE BEAUTY Luminous Crème Lipstick: This is a long-lasting, soft, creamy, and moisturizing lipstick. Here the color is so dynamic and beautiful. I received so many compliments I love it. They are no longer available in US but available in Sephora AU.

Dermalogica Ultra Calming Duo VoxBox
Hi there my lovelies! Hope you are doing well. Today I want to talk to about the Dermatologica Ultra Calming Duo VoxBox that I have that I have just received from Influenster free for my honest and unbiased review.
The VoxBox contains Dermalogica UltraCalming Calm Water Gel and Dermalogica Barrier Defense Booster.
Dermalogica UltraCalming Calm Water Gel: The Water Gel is cool and soothing, and it replenishes dry, sensitive skin. The gel is full of Dual Hyaluronic Acid technology that quenches skin upon application to deliver long-lasting moisture and hydration deep into the skin’s layers. I have Apple Fruit Extract and Glycerin in order to combat dryness and sensitivity while defending against environmental aggressors to leave skin comfortable around the clock. The Gel is paraben free and cruelty-free.
Dermalogica Barrier Defense Booster: The defense booster nourishes, soothes, and moisturizes skin to restore balance to the sensitive skin. It also relieves dryness and provides a barrier against future irritation. The oil contains oil oat that helps combat sensitivity and support healthy-looking skin.
Verdict: Dear reader, last week I told how Dermalogica Daily Superfoliant Exfoliant broke me out. However, these two Ultra Calming Duo from Dermalogica are whole different stories. The gel is so soothing and make makes my skin extra soft. I wash my face and put this on my skin and my face instantly felt hydrated and moisturized. As for the booster oil, I added few drops to the moisturizer before applying it and it a huge difference in my skin without making it look oily. Overall, I would definitely recommend these duos to my everyone.

Dermalogica Daily Superfoliant, What Did You Do?
Hi there my lovelies! Hope you are doing well. Today I want to talk to you about my experience with the Dermalogica Daily Superfoliant Exfoliant.
This advanced powered formula activates upon contact with water, releasing powerful enzymes, skin-resurfacing alpha hydroxy acids that deeps cleanse pores and removes pollutant from the skin. The exfoliant contains activated Binchotan Charcoal that purifies the skin, helping to absorb environmental toxins from deep within the pores, while Niacinamide, Red Algae and Tara Fruit Extract help guard against the damaging effects of pollution.
Verdict: My dear friends! As have mentioned before, I have very sensitive skin. I followed the direction but kept on my face even less than directed. However, my face broke out instantly. It started burning, tingling. I completely irritated my skin. This might a good exfoliant but it not for those with sensitive skin.

Make Up For Ever VoxBox
Hi there my lovelies! Hope you are doing well. Today, I want to talk to you about the MAKE UP FOR EVER Voxbox that I have received from Influenster. I received the item free from my honest review last year.
The voxbox contains a full size MAKE UP FOR EVER Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation two trial sizes, in shades darks so that the foundation can be exactly matched to my skin tone. Fortunately, I did not have to use the trial size because the full size exactly matched my skin tone.
My dear readers, as I have mentioned before, I like my foundation to be weightless and natural look. This foundation gives me that look. I wear it when I out and I receive a lot of compliments as to how flawless my skin is looking. This no-makeup makeup look that I get from MAKE UP FOR EVER Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation this my favorite foundation. Thank you Influenster and MAKE UP FOR EVER for letting me try the foundation and write my review. I have been using this foundation since it first came to market.

L’Oréal Revitalift Voxbox
Hi there my lovelies! Hope you are doing are doing well. I am still catching up from my from my break from my blogs. Today, I want to talk to you about the L’Oréal Revitalift Voxbox that I have received from Influenster. I received the item free from my honest review last year.
I used L’Oreal RevitaLift Triple Power Deep-Acting Moisturizer for two weeks and I have seen a big difference. It made my skin smooth and soft. I am specially loving this moisturizer this winter season. For some reason my skin is extra dry and nothing seem to help. However, this Deep-Active moisturizer got rid of the dry patches from my face within days.
My dear readers, I actually loved the L’Oréal Deep-Active moisturizer because after trying essential oils and everything this winter, this is the only one save my skin so far. I continued to follow from my previous post but my skin was still dry.

BB Dakota Pancho ($70): This is a chic protector against the cold temperature. I have been wearing everyday indoor. I received a lot of compliments. This ultra-cozy knit accessory can be your chic best friend that can be worn over your favorite warm-weather pieces.
AHAVA Mineral Hand Cream ($33): Made with dead sea, witch hazel, and allantoin this wonderful hand cream instantly improves the moisture level of my skin. I have definitely switched from Eos hand cream to AHAVA because my hand because this is my new favorite and protect my hand all season long.
DOUCCE Freematic Eyeshadow Pro Palette in Smokey ($70): This palette has eight matte and shimmer shadows along with one highlighter. I gave mine to my mom and she absolutely loves it. It glides on smoothly for a silky finish.
Homemade by Ayesha Curry Ceramic Mug ($16): This mug was defined by a New York Times best-selling author. It’s perfect for your favorite beverage, whether it’s hot cocoa and marshmallows, or something grown up.
Kate Somerville ExfoliaKate Intensive Exfoliating Treatment ($75): Made of papaya, pumpkin, and pineapple enzymes. Just two minutes provides a polished look. It helps the appearance of skin texture and pores while brightening and reducing the appearance of fine line. I have highly sensitive skin so it is not for me.
Grace & Stella Anti-Wrinkle Energizing Eye Mask ($16): This mask is great for treating dark circle. It perks up the eyes.
Pointe Studio Aloe Infused Cozy Socks ($19): I love wearing these socks to my keep my feet warm. One thing that I absolutely love about these socks is that they are aloe-infused.

One thing I loved this box this that it got you all set for the summer with a weightless sunscreen with SPF 50+, a gorgeous ruana that triples as a scarf, sarong, and poncho, a glass water bottle to ensure you stay hydrated. You can also add some flare to the box with soothing eye concentrate, highlighter, massage oil, natural stone necklace, and even an art kit.
Eau Thermale Avene Ultra-Light Hydrating Sunscreen Lotion SPF 50+ (Retails $24): This sheer light sunscreen contains broad spectrum SPF 50+ UVA/UVB filters and is enriched with powerful antioxidant and soothing Avène Thermal Spring Water. I have to say, this sunscreen is quite light and hydrating. I one thing that I loved the most about this lotion is that it meets the TSA size standards.
Michael Stars Ruana (Retails $54): I love this scarf. You can as a scarf, sarong, or simply drape it like a shawl. I love the soft fabric. I wore all summer long so many different ways. I still wear it.
Little bkr – 500 mL (Retails $35): This gorgeous rosy glass water bottle comes in convenient 500 mL to carry to the gym. What better way to stay hydrated.
Little bkr Juice Beauty Smoothing Eye Concentrate (Retails $29): This concentrate contains certified organic grape and carrot juices blended with essential fatty acids and Vitamins B5, C and P to hydrate for healthy, beautiful eyes. It’s daily essential for all skin types. I have sensitive skin. It feels great on the skin. I haven’t been using this long. I love that it contains natural, organic ingredients. I can’t wait to see a difference.Its lightweight and velvety powder formula goes on flawlessly yet remains invisible to the camera.
Way of Will 03 Soothe and Cool Massage Oil (Retails $29.50): Had a rough day or workout? This massage oil infused with 100% natural essential oils. The oils improve the protective barrier function of the skin, increase hydration, elasticity, and suppleness, while cools affected areas post exercise. I found it quite soothing.
Kris Nations Mystic Bar Necklace in Moonstone (Retails $58): These stones are hand-cut by craftsmen in India and each one has an attribute that helps you live every day with positive intentions. It’s made with 18k gold overlay with moonstone which provides inner peace, strength, and growth.
Amy Tangerine “Ready, Set, Create!” Art Kit (Retails $22): The goal of this kit is to bring your inner artist. To be honest, this my least favorite. I used to paint with oil paints and this looks like kids stuff to me. I guess I will have to give it to my niece.

BioRepublic SkinCare Aloe Rescue Revitalizing Fiber Mask & Green Tea Detox Purifying Fiber Mask ($9.98 value): The Green Tea mask is infused with a ton of revitalizing ingredients (like natural green tea extract and Vitamin E) that leave your skin looking and feeling SO fresh and SO clean. One the other hand, the Aloe mask is full of soothing aloe vera juice will immediately hydrate and calm down sun-stressed skin.
theBalm Cosmetics INSTAIN Long-Wearing Staining Powder Blush in Pinstripe ($21 value): This talc-free, fade-resistant formula is perfect for hot days and even hotter nights. The shade is beautiful, and it stays very well. I’ve been given a lot of blushes and would definitely like to get more varied items.
Skone Cosmetics Insanely Intense Tattooed Waterproof Eyeliner ($20 value): A precise, felt tip makes creating cat eyes and graphic looks SUPER easy. I absolutely love the eyeliner with its precise tip and it lasts such a long time.
Luna By Luna Cosmetics Eyeshadow in Jace ($15 value): The site says it’s vegan and cruelty-free and only been tested on party animals. There is not much pigmentation even with eye primer. I am not a fan of this shadow at all.

Description: The lip stylo contains a blend of shea butter, jojoba, mimosa, and sunflower seed. It is Parabens, Sulfates, and Phthalates free.
Verdict: The lip stylo is quite pigmented. It is creamy and moisturizing, natural looking and it fades away nicely. Moreover, it feels so comfortable on the lips and really sinks in while maintaining a long lasting color on the lips. The only downside to it is the price. One stylo will set you back $32. I am not sure if I am okay with that. Other than that I love this stylo.

Inside are five products: Urban Decay Afterglow highlighter powder in Sin, IT Cosmetics Superhero Elastic Stretch Volumizing Mascara in Black, Adesse New York Organic Infused Gel Effect Nail Lacquer in Surfer Girl, Briogeo Rosarco Milk Reparative Leave-In Conditioning Spray, and Caked Makeup Lip Fondant in Low Key.
Urban Decay Afterglow highlighter powder in Sin ($9 sample value): This is a long lasting highlighter. I have to admit that it is not pigmented as Becca but I love the subtle shade it creates. I also love how smoothly it glides on. It creates a natural glow.
IT Cosmetics Superhero Elastic Stretch Volumizing Mascara in Black ($12 sample value): It is formulated with powerful peptides and proteins, strengthening biotin, lash lifting polymers and plumping collagen to help keep lashes healthy and strong. It keeps my lashes look more intense, longer and fuller. However, it does leave lashes a little clumpy.
Adesse New York Organic Infused Gel Effect Nail Lacquer in Surfer Girl ($18): This nail polish is 5 Free, Cruelty-Free, Paraben Free, Sulfate Free, Vegan, and the formula is infused with organic bamboo extract, argan oil, and shea oil. I absolutely love the color. However, you have to layer it more than two layers to get a consistent color. Nevertheless, the color is perfect for the beach.
Briogeo Rosarco Milk Reparative Leave-In Conditioning Spray: An ultra-light, leave-in conditioning spray that brings hydration and moisture to locks without weighing them down. However, I did not find it to be anything special.
Caked Makeup Lip Fondant in Low Key: I actually am okay with the shade. However, it is a little drying on my lip. I addressed it by using eos as my lip primer.
My dear readers! Though I really love Ipsy, overall, the May Ipsy Glam Bag a is much better than the April one.

Caudalie Resveratrol Lift Face Lifting Soft Cream: This lightweight, but intensely nourishing cream delivers visible plumping and firming hydration while leaving a matte, pearlized finish.
Estée Edit Pink Peony Overnight Water Pack: The water-gel formula provides a power-packed punch of glow and hydration while you sleep. Pink peony, gogi berry, blueberry, and cranberry soothe, smooth, and brighten skin while hyaluronic acid hydrates. This mask can be used daily as an overnight treatment or anytime as a hydrating and energizing mask. It really keeps my skin smooth and hydrated.
Farmacy Hydrating Coconut Gel Mask with Echinacea GreenEnvy – Deep Moisture (Cucumber): Cucumber extract delivers high levels of vitamin C, which assist in helping to maintain moisture levels, while the Echinacea GreenEnvy contains the highest known concentration of cichoric acid—helps protect the skin by supporting natural collagen. My skin felt hydrated and healthy after the 20-minute process. Can’t recommend more!
Fresh Rose Face Mask: This hydrating and toning gel mask is infused with real rose petals, soothing rosewater, and a “smart” algae that deliver optimum moisture. I have a big fan of masks, and this almost completely absorbed into my skin. It smells good and feels great on my skin. However, I am not sure if I am not convinced enough to pay $62 for the 3.3 oz size. You can get the 1 oz for $25. I am not completely convinced yet.
Karuna Age-Defying+ Hand Mask: This hand mast contains creamy oil-serum that leaves your hands more hydrated, softer, and smoother in as little as one application. This mask is amazing. You can actually use your phone, without living any oily residue while using this mask. How cool is that! Most of all, it left my hand soft, hydrated and bright after one use. I am definitely buying this masking again. I am so glad Sephora Favorites introduced me to this mask. ‘
L’Occitane Almond Milk Concentrate: The concentrate is enriched with almond oil and milk for a firmer, smoother, and hydrated looking skin. It absorbs quickly and leaves my skin feeling smooth and hydrated. It is extremely moisturizing and not greasy at all. However, it is quite pricey.
Shiseido Benefiance Wrinkle Resist 24 Pure Retinol Express Smoothing Eye Mask: This fast-acting eye treatment sheet contains pure retinol micro-infusion technology to help reduce the appearance of wrinkles in as little as 15 minutes. The stretchy material adheres nicely to visible laugh lines around the mouth too. The eye mask brightens and smoothes under-eye area after the first use. However, it is quite pricey. It’s $65 for a pack of 12 masks. I will probably use it for special occasions.
SK-II Facial Treatment Essence: This treatment essence is enriched with more than 90 percent Pitera, the main ingredient used to enhance the skin’s renewal process. Additionally, it contains nourishing vitamins, amino acids, minerals, and acids to promote the skin’s renewal. I saw great reviews about this product. However, I did not see much difference on my skin. I only used it a couple of times hence probably is too early to judge. However, when I look at the price of the item, I think I will pass.

Hey Honey Bésame Mucho Lip Balm: It contains propolis, an extract from beehives that is both hydrates and is antibacterial. I put in on my lips at night and my lips stayed moisturized even in the morning. It retails for $14.
EM Cosmetics Illustrative Eyeliner Brush Tip: The applicator was inspired by a calligraphy pen. It makes a perfect line and stays all day. I absolutely love this liner. It retails for $15.
Elizabeth Mott Show Me Your Glow Shimmer Shadow & Highlighter: I have a big fan of glow shimmers and highlighters, and what I like about this one is that it’s not dramatic. I love the subtle look I can create with this highlighter, but you can layer it to make it dramatic. Nonetheless, it does not last long.
OFRA Cosmetics Peach Blush: I love blushes, and I love how subtle the blush is. However, I did not like the packaging at all.
My dear readers! Though I really love Ipsy, overall, the April Ipsy Glam Bag a disappointment to me. However, I do have to admit that I really admire the creativity of the ticket stub makeup bag. I also liked the eyeliner and even the lip balm. The other products were little meh.

The add-on item includes Dr. Brandt Skincare Oxygen Facial Flash Recovery Mask. The extra item includes Nature’s Bounty Hair Skin and Nails Gummies Vitamins, which is also a sponsored item.
Deborah Lippmann Nail Polish Set in Shape of My Heart/Like a Virgin ($19): This is a beautiful color set that retails for $19. It glides on smoothly. The white polish goes on sheer/cloudy, so you’ll need 3 coats to get a full coverage, 2 coats for full coverage in the pink polish.
Briogeo Rosarco Milk Reparative Leave-In Conditioning Spray ($20): This is an ultra-light, leave-in conditioning spray that brings hydration and moisture to locks without weighing them down. It is so light that you barely know you have it in. Additionally, it smells fantastic and it leaves my hair feeling really soft. However, I do recommend to use it sparingly It retails for $20.
Karuna Hydrating+ Face Mask Set of Four: It comes in a package of four beautiful, single-use, deep conditioning sheet masks to restore dry, dehydrated skin. This cooling hydrating face mask is absolutely amazing. I have sensitive skin and break out to quite a few things. This left my skin so soft and smooth. It retails for $28.
Dr. Brandt Microdermabrasion Age Defying Exfoliator ($79): This formula contains aluminum oxide crystals, lactic acid, and soothing botanicals to polish away dead skin cells, provide a radiant, healthy look, and smooth skin’s texture. It made my skin feel soft and smooth! I also feel like it took away some of the redness from previous my acne. It’s also very gentle on your skin. I use it 1-2 times a week.
Emerald Duv Joshua Tree Cage Cuff Bracelet ($80): Make a statement with the open body, modern of this bracelet by Emerald Duv.
MILLY Zip Pouch ($45): This is a water resistant pouch, hence great for a bathing suit bag or a cosmetics bag.
RealHer Lip Kit ($48): This lip kit contains a Matte Liquid Lipstick, Lip Plumping Lip Gloss, and a Lip Liner. The lipstick is very pigmented and last all day and so does the lip liner. However, the lip gloss is quite sticky, which I am not a big fan of.
Gypsie05 Roundie ($50): This super practical and trendy beach blanket is made out of 100% Cotton. You can also use it as a bed cover, table top, picnic blanket, and much more. I love the pattern and can’t wait to use it.
Dr. Brandt Skincare Oxygen Facial Flash Recovery Mask ($70): For just $11 more I received an oxygenating and recovery mask designed to boost luminosity and reinvigorate skin in just three minutes. I have sensitive skin with old acne mark. I tried it on a clean face and OMG, and my face was instantly brighter, cleaner, radiant and just beautiful. I am glad that I chose this mask as an add-on item.
Nature’s Bounty Hair Skin and Nails Gummies Vitamins ($40 count): This is a sponsored item hence does not count towards the value of the box. These strawberry gummies were good! Additionally, they are free of lactose, gluten, and artificial flavors/sweeteners!

Verdict: Overall, I am really impressed with the Spring box. I received $369 worth of items. Additionally, I received $70 worth of item for just $11 and also I received the FabFitFun TV for absolutely free and 40 counts of biotin supplements.

Tarte Make Believe In Yourself: Eye & Cheek Palette
Hi there my lovelies! Hope you are doing well. Today want to take the time to talk to about this beautiful palette to my collection. It’s the Make Believe In Yourself: Eye & Cheek Palette from Tarte. It retails for $40.
Description: This is an unicorn-inspired eyeshadow palette with 10 radiant shadows and a strobing eye and cheek highlighter. This is the latest collection from Tarte. It contains eight shimmering eye shades, a matte nude shade, and a pearl highlight shimmer.
Verdict: This is a beautiful palette that I absolutely love and adore. Use your fingers or a dense brush to apply these shadows. They go so well for a soft glam day look and you can add a liner for a night look. The wear lasts all day or all night! I mix with some darker mattes to make a halo eye, but you can create something beautiful and unique using it alone. I have seen a lot of negative reviews about the lack of pigment. However, if you just use your finger or a flat dense brush pigmentation works great. Just try it. The shades are just superb!

It’s so natural, that whenever I don’t have time to do my makeup, I just do my usual morning skincare routine and finish it with this primer.

Hi there my lovelies! Hope you had a great Saturday. Today I want to talk to you about the March Ipsy Glam Bag. As you know, Ipsy is a monthly beauty and makeup subscription. Each month you will receive full size or deluxe size items and a cute makeup bag. I think it’s one of the best value beauty subscriptions and a great way to build out your makeup collection for just $10 a month.
Description: The March Ipsy Glam Bag comes in a light peach makeup bag with the following five products: Air Repair Skincare Complexion-Boosting Moisturizer, Tarte cosmetics tarteist quick dry matte lip paint in vibin, ModelCo Eye Define Retractable Crayon Liner in Black, Doucce Freematic Eyeshadow in Marisa, and Beau Gâchis Tapered Blending Brush.
Air Repair Skincare Complexion-Boosting Moisturizer: I love the fact that this moisturizer is packed with antioxidants and I have sensitive skin but like trying new products. This one didn’t dry my skin out.
Tarte cosmetics tarteist quick dry matte lip paint in vibin: This lip paint has velvet matte finish and is neither too matte nor too glossy. I really enjoy the color and it lasted all day! However, It’s a dry formula, and it came off in flakes. To counteract that I wear my Eos balm as a base, which really keeps my lips moisturized.
ModelCo Eye Define Retractable Crayon Liner in Black: This is a long-wearing, water-resistant formula that doesn’t smudge, budge, or transfer. However, it’s really wobbly and hard to draw with. I am always afraid that it will break anytime. I am really disappointed with this one. I would rather use a liquid liner.
Doucce Freematic Eyeshadow in Marisa: This is a shimmery rose colored shadow and gives a nice subtle tone to your eyes. However, for a more dramatic look first just spray your brush with a setting spray. I am an eyeshadow fanatic and love that this shadow glides in smoothly and does not flake. However, I really do not like the fact that it has talc it. I am not a fan of talc, hence I am not happy about it.
Beau Gâchis Tapered Blending Brush: This is a nice soft brush. However, I am really disappointed that I didn’t choose brushes in my preference but was still sent brushes.
Overall, I am disappointed with the March Ipsy Glam Bag. However, I really like the makeup bag, the moisturizer, and the Tarte lip stain. I am hoping for a better bag next month as the last few bag did not disappoint me.

Wander Catch The Light Highlighter
Hi, there my lovelies! Hope you had a lovely Saturday! Today I want to take the time and talk about the Catch the Light Highlighter from Wander Cosmetics.
Descriptions: It is a precise soft-focus highlighter that retails for $25. It’s great to apply to hard-to-reach areas, such as underneath the brows, the inner corner of the eye are, and the Cupid’s bow. It is also Infused with vitamins and antioxidants, as is made to nourish and hydrate the skin. Wear it on bare skin or over foundation for a glowy look.
Verdict: I love the highlighter. I specially wear it when I am not wearing when I am not wearing any makeup and going for a no-makeup makeup look and just want the subtle yet radiant finish. I bought the moon highlight and I really like it. It’s a subtle shimmer and that’s what I was looking for. Most of all, it’s portable, hence you can just put it in your purse.

Hi there my lovelies! Hope you are having a wonderful Monday. Today I want to talk to you about my new favorite metallic lip color from Jouer. It’s Jouer Long-Wear Lip Creme Matte Liquid Lipstick. It retails for $18.
Description: This cruelty-free liquid lipstick provides all day coverage, and has a very subtle vanilla scent. It’s the papaye-metallic warm peach color gives you the trendy look that you deserve.
Verdict: The metallic papaye is a pure copper color with a nice vanilla scent. It is a bit drying on my lips. Hence, I apply a little eos as a primer. I also add it with different color lip liner to change the tone of the color as the pure copper tone does not go well with my skin tone. I also add it on top of different color lipsticks to turn them into metallic chic. Overall, I like the metallic lipstick though I’m not a big fan of the copper tone, which I address with different color lip liners and lipstick.

Viseart Petite PRO Eyeshadow Palette
Hi there my lovelies! Hope you had a wonderful weekend. As you know I am a big eyeshadow. Hence, when I first heard about Petit PRO palette from Viseart I had to try it out. However, it I had to place my name on the waitlist for months. Despite the long wait, I finally got hold of a palette for $30.
Description: All Viseart Cosmetics are individually handmade in Paris, France, made of a blend of organic ingredients and modern technology to produce absolutely amazing pigmentation. The petit PRO palette is an eight-shade eyeshadow palette in versatile pigment-rich colors in matte, satin, and shimmer textures.
Verdict: I knew the palette was small but did not know that it was credit card size palette. I guess that’s why it’s called petite. However, I wanted to try the much-coveted Viseart palette with breaking my bank. The pigment is still Viseart status so it’s amazing! It is a great size for travelers and you can pack luxury in your purse! The shadow is so soft. I am glad that I have waited to get this palette. Again, you will get small shadow pans, but they are so pigmented you won’t need a lot. I am not ecstatic about the size of the palette, but I really love that this most pigmented, blendable and softest palette that I have tried so far. Additionally, I can just carry it in my purse.

Have You Tried the Nicole Guerriero Glow Kit from Anastasia Beverly Hills?
Hi there my lovelies! Happy Friday everyone! Are you guys excited about the Nicole Guerriero Glow Kit from Anastasia Beverly Hills? It retails for $40. After that Glow Kit, I was really excited about this new product. Hence, as soon as it became available, I had to get my hand on one of them.
Description: This new limited addition to the Anastasia Beverly Hills collection is created in collaboration with YouTuber Nicole Guerriero, and contains six metallic powder highlighters.
Verdict: What can say about this palette! This is a beautiful metallic glow kit. Some of the shades were little of golden for me. However, the shades are buttery and creamy. A lot of these shades make beautiful eyeshadow and I use them as such. I just spray my brush with setting spray before picking up the highlighter. As for highlighter little goes a long way.

Hi there my lovelies! Happy Friday everyone! Hope you are having a wonderful day. Are you suffering to bad hair day every day? Then look no further. I will share with you some tips that helped me save my hair from blah and yeah.
Not too long ago I had limp, straw-like, lifeless hair. Every time I let my hair down my dad and will ask me why did I not brush my hair. It was so embarrassing. I would not show my face to anyone without heat styling first. I was losing hair like crazy. There are no hair products that I didn’t buy. Every hair products that different hair stylists told including, Keratanase, Nioxin, PHYTO PHYTOCYANE, I have tried. However, nothing working for me.
After all that trying, I started listening to my hair. My hair is thin and wavy. It did not like any of these products when it kept falling like crazy with all these products, I knew that those products are not for me. I needed natural products for my hair care.
Conditioning: Coming from a South Asian background I have seen some of my family members rely on oil to condition their hair. However, since I have applied oil to my hair, I knew that I had to start small. I applied a mixture of Castor Oil, Avocado Oil, Jojoba Oil, Rosemary Essential Oil, Almond oil, Vitamin E Oil, Coconut Oil, and Sesame Oil. I warm the oil and apply to my scalp and hair for better absorption. I would apply it and massage the warm oil in my skull and leave it overnight and wash it next morning. I do this every other week for conditioning my hair. This has really made my hair softer and
Scalp Message: Messaging skull stimulates your hair follicles, which in turns help with hair growth. It also boosts circulation. Get a massage tool for an at-home too. You can also pop into a salon every two weeks for a professional treatment.
Washing Less Often: I know this may not sound hygienic. I thought the same thing when one of my stylists said the same thing to me. However, washing your hair your frequently often strips of the scalp of natural oils and dry out hair. Hence, go longer between washes by going with a dry shampoo, getting creating with your braids. Your hair will thank you. I love the Ouai Dry Shampoo Foam available for $28, where I don’t have to worry about any white residues. At first, my hair still seemed greasy but I realized I was using too much product. The smell is amazing. I also love Klorane Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk ($20) that is enriched with oat milk to cleanse hair in minutes without water.
Wash You Hair with Cold Water: This is one mistake that I used to make by washing my hair with warm water not know that it strips your hair of its natural oils and even causes hair loss. Hence, now I washing my hair with cold water to close the hair follicles and lock in the moisture.
Ditch the Heat: I know it is very to completely get rid of all the heating tools. However, if you are absolutely going to use them please use a lower heat setting. It may take longer but your hair will look much healthier and stronger. Additionally, don’t forget to use a heat protectant spray or cream.
Detangler: To avoid losing my hair of the first thing that I did I stopped brushing my hair when it’s wet. Remember, when your hair is wet, it soft and is very vulnerable to breakage. Wait until it’s dry. Additionally, trying to brush on tangled hair lead to pulling and breakage. Hence, you should use the right hair brush and detangler or order to ensure minimal breakage. Brushes with stiff bristles can create split ends and dry out ends. I love the Tangle Teezer Original Detangling Brush ($15), Living Proof restore perfecting spray ($28) that not only conditions my hair but also works as a detangler as well.
Keep Your Hair Hydrated: You moisturize your body every day with lotion, so why not your hair. I apply Christophe Robin Moisturizing Hair Cream with Sandalwood ($45) on my ends every day in order to keep them hydrated. I have never been happier.
DYI Conditioner to Clean Impurities: In addition to the above steps, I make sure I use all natural shampoo in my hair, which include Loreal EverPure Volume Shampoo and Conditioner ($7.99 each). They are cruelty-free, vegan products. There are no harsh sulfates, salts, or surfactants that can strip dull and damage hair. Once I condition my hair I further wash my hair with apple cider vinegar. You can wash with dpHUE Apple Cider Vinegar Hair Rinse ($35). I use Eden Foods Organic Apple Cider Vinegar ($13.99) with a little bit of peppermint oil rejuvenating the hair follicles and increasing healthy hair growth and lemon juice to treat dandruff. Also, the two ingredients address the smell of vinegar.
Thanks to all the above steps, my hair looks much healthier and smoother than before. I also hear from my family and friends how much they love natural hair and waves without any heat styling. With few little steps, I love my hair. It went from oh no to oh yeah!!!

Marsh Mineral Eyeshadow in You’re Toast: This 100% natural eyeshadow can be used wet or dry depending on your need for a dramatic or subtle result. The shadow retails for $22. This is a nice shimmery shade for a night out. However, I am not a big fan of the container though the shadow is very pigmented.
Luna Highlighter: The pale lavender baked highlighter is buildable and looks on every skin tone. It retails for $23. It glides on easily and creates a beautiful glow. It is highly pigmented, hence little goes a long way. I really like the subtle look it creates.
NYX Butter Lipstick: This satin finish lipstick is creamy. It has a beautiful semi-sheer color. I love how it glides on and the color was vibrant on my lips. It is also quite moisturizing. However, it transfers easy and fades quick, not long-lasting whatsoever. The lipstick retails for $6.
Absolute New York Nano Eyeliner: This ultra fine precision liquid liner is water-, smudge-, and fade-resistant, hence stays put all day. It glides on easily. In order to test how I well liner works I try to create something with the liner on my skin so check if the liner glides on easily and the if liner can fine precision line. As you can see from the picture of the panda (something close to panda maybe?) that the lines are fine and precise. I really like that the liner is waterproof. It is very precise when you need a simple line to open up your eye look. However, it is not recommended for use when you want a thick line. It retails for $9.99.
Biobelle Fiber Facial Masks in #Stay Gorgeous and #iWokeUpLikeThis: These are all natural, biodegradable fiber that adheres face like a second skin. #StayGorgeous had almond oil that softens and moisturizes skin, while #iWokeUpLikeThis contains vitamin c, which is responsible for brighter skin. In order to use the masks, leave on for 20 minutes, then remove before the mask is completely dry. If you’re planning to moisturize after, give your skin a quick rinse, otherwise, just massage in any excess. These masks were quite refreshing, they made my skin soft. I’ve only used one so far but I loved it. Stays on your face fairly well, delivers a lot of product. I will update if there is any issue with the other mask. Each mask retails for $4.99. Hence two retails for $9.98.

Hi there my lovelies! Happy Hump Day everyone! Hope everyone is having a good Wednesday! Do you like Chocolate! What am I saying? Everyone likes chocolate. Hence, when I saw the Chocolate Bar Eyeshadow Palette from Too Faced, I had to get it. Today, I will just go over my experience with you.
Description: This is a beautiful palette that is encased in a playful chocolate bar tin containing 16 matte and shimmering shades scented with real chocolate smell. The palette contains rich selection of browns, neutrals, and a little pop of color.
Verdict: The good thing about this palette is that it is a beautiful palette and the colors are nice. There are mattes, shimmers, glitters, and satin finishes so I can see this working on a lot of different people. Additionally, it is made of really cocoa. Hence, the anti-oxidant properties of cocoa is great and not to mention the smell. However, the negative aspect of the palette includes that couple of the swatches (white chocolate, and strawberry bon bon) just disappeared on my skin. Moreover, Candied Violet also went on sheer and had to be layered for good pigmentation. As far as neutrals go, this palette lacks lacking taupe-type shades. Also, if you do not like the smell of chocolate this palette is not for you. Furthermore, some of the shades can be really flaky and can have a lot of fallout, which can be annoying. However, in order avoid fallouts make sure to tap your brush well on or you will have flakes under your eyes to clean up. I personally think that this palette is more for neutral everyday look. However, if you are looking for a bolder look, go with the Semi Sweet or the Chocolate Bon Bon palette. Overall, this is a nice with beautiful smell. Just make sure that you apply the glittery shades wet for them to show up well.

Can Get Some Loose Glam Glittery Dust?
Hi there my loveliness! Hope you are having a lovely Tuesday. As you may know by now, I am a big fan of glittery and shimmery eyeshadow. It just reminds me of pixie dust from Tinker Bell and all the magic associated with it. I love adding them to my collection only if find something that is worth spending my hard earned money on. Today, I want to talk about one such collection from a while ago. It is the Smolder Cosmetics’s Lock It in Bundle! 4 Loose Glam Dust + 1 Dazzle Lock Primer. This collection is currently not available. However, you can get Perfect Glam Bundle of 4 Loose Glam Dust for $32.
Description: The bundle includes a color-coordinated collection of loose dust in Bronze Glow, Gold Digger, Pink Gold, Burnt Coppe, Sample of Asteria, and a Dazzle Lock Primer. These concentrated loose dust pigments can be used dry or wet.
Verdict: What can I say about these loose dust. A little but goes a long way! I absolutely love these shimmery, glittery loose dust. In order to prevent any fallouts, I just use it with the Dazzle lock primer to keep the dust in place and to intensify the color! So far, this is the most pigmented sparkling eye shadow I have used. I know that it will last me a long time and I will be ale to combine it with other palettes to created various different looks. Additionally, I get individual shades for $9. In conclusion, I am very happy with this collection.

The Versatile Norturnal Shadow Box for Urban Decay
Hi there my lovelies! Happy President’s Day to everyone. Hope you are having a wonderful Monday. How are you spending your long weekend? I spent mine sipping my favorite Peppermint Mocha Frappuccino at Starbucks. I thought I spend a part of the day talking to about a product that I recently had a chance to try out: the Nocturnal Shadow Box from Urban Decay.
Description: This is a limited edition eyeshadow palette that comes in 12 shades and retails for $29. The palette has eight must-haves from UD’s current collection and four exclusives from past sets, including three of the most-requested shades from past vice palettes.
Verdict: As expected from Urban Decay, this palette delivers beautiful and versatile shades. While it has natural shades, it also has bold and bright shades that make this palette stand out from others. The colors blend so easily and are creamy as well. The only one thing that I have an issue with, is that the darker shades can be really flaky and can have a lot of fallout, which can be annoying. However, in order avoid fallouts from the darker shades make sure to tap your brush well on or you will have flakes under your eyes to clean up. They layer well, so take your time. Due to the flakes and fallouts, I give this palette four stars. Otherwise, I absolutely love it.

Foxybae Hair Straightening Brush: Does It Really Work?
Hi there my lovelies! Hope you had a lovely weekend. Today, I want to talk about a hair straightening brush that I have tried recently and give my honest opinion. I am talking about Foxybae Hair Straightening Brush. Hope this will help you decide if you really want to go for a straightening brush.
Description: I have told you before, I have stubborn thin and wavy hear. I have actually proud on my waves because I get quite compliments on them. However, what I hate is that no heating products can tame that wave. Hence I am always looking one that can straighten it without burning them. When I saw an only promotion to be able to buy this product for less than $50, when the actual price is $149.95 I took advantage of the offer, hoping it will work on hair. The brush actually looks quite luxurious and has a LED display and heats up to a safe 365°F in mere seconds (max temp of 232°C/450°F) simply brush your hair to distribute heat and straighten without damaging your tresses in the process. It automatically heats to 365°F. You can change the temperature up and down using the temperature control.
Verdict: Does this brush really work. My one-word response to this is “Meh”. I have seen YouTube review raving about Foxybae. I actually found the results with my Instyler much better. My hair is much shinier with the Instyler too. However, I do admit that did not fill the heat with this brush. With my Instyler, if I am not careful I will see smoke coming out of my hair. This is one thing that I really like about this brush that my hair doesn’t burn while styling. In conclusion, who I wasn’t impressed with the straitening part of the brush, I did like the part that it’s safer on my hair than other heating products. Overall, I don’t waste your money if you are looking for a straightening product that gives straitening, shine and volume. Go with the Instyler, which does all the three.

Description: This month, in honor of the Heart Month and Valentine’s Day, I got three shades red lip colors. They include: Ciaté London Pretty Stix Murumuru Butter Lipstick in First Love, Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupté Shine Oil-In-Stick Lipstick in COLOR 4 Rouge in Danger, and Yves Saint Laurent Vernis À Lèvres Glossy Lip Stain in COLOR 9 Rouge Laque.
Ciaté London Pretty Stix Murumuru Butter Lipstick in First Love ($20): Ciate London is a buttery and creamy lipstick in red. It goes on smooth and creamy and looks fabulous. It lasts fairly long. The case is very cute. I like how hydrating it is. You have to layer it to get a deeper color.
Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupté Shine Oil-In-Stick Lipstick in COLOR 4 Rouge in Danger ($37): YSL is really one of my favorite brands. I really love how rich and creamy it is, and it is very super easy to apply. It is infused with 65 percent oils with deeply hydrating texture. I love this sheer lipstick and have it in few different shades. The only sad part is it does not last long, but I am okay it is because how it is hydrating to the extreme and I will take over long-lasting color for my extra dry lips. It’s a sheer lipstick but definitely buildable. One of the best thing I love about this lipstick is the smell. It smells so fresh. I highly recommend this lipstick if you can splurge.
Yves Saint Laurent Vernis À Lèvres Glossy Lip Stain in COLOR 9 Rouge Laque ($36): This lip color offers the shine of a gloss with a long wear of a stain. However, I am not sure it is worth the price. Out of the three lip colors that bought this is my least favorite. I do admit that it does last a long time. However, it does wear off very easily if you touch your lips with anything which I do and I am not sure if I am going to buy this again. If your New Year resolution is to spend your money wisely then don’t spend it on this.

Stripped Naked Lip Kit in Whirl ($29): Mac Cosmetics is known for its highly pigmented and bold lip colors. However, now for those nude lip color lovers, Mac has come up with the nude duo kit. This kit comes with a lipstick and lip pencil. What is different about this kit is that the lip pencil is slightly darker than the lipstick in order to create a more fuller look with a 3D effect. As always, I really love this kit and highly recommend it. However, unfortunately, due to high demand, the kit is currently sold out.
Dazzle Shadow X 4-The Shining Hour ($32): Who said that all that glitter is not gold? This palette contains four sparkling shades: burgundy with teal, pink, gold, and sparkling white. I absolutely love this palette. I just spray a little liquid primer on my brush before dipping it into the pan and it lasts all day. The colors more gorgeous in person, and I am glad that I ordered them before they sold out, because this palette is worth every penny.
Mac Lipstick in Model Behavior ($17): Finally, Model Behavior is a bold color. Since I received this lipstick, I received a lot of compliments and my mom has been wanting this lipstick from me since she saw the shade on my lip. I really this lipstick. It goes it smoothly and lasts a long time.

Hi there lovelies! Hope you are having a wonderful Tuesday. Have ever had to deal with pesky oily residues ruining your powered foundation and eyeshadow? I know I have. Which of the following methods have you used to get rid of pesky oily residue from your powered makeup?
It oily residue houses scores of bacteria and makes the powered makeup (whether foundation or eyeshadow) almost useless. If you have used a knife to scrape off the oily part, it leaves a whole in the area and wastes a lot of the product. However, there a simple DIY way to get rid of the oily residue just using common office supply: yes I am talking about tape.
Just use tape to get off those pesky little oily residues and you will able to use them again without the worry of bacteria filled oily residue covered your powered makeup. Additionally, you don’t have to waste makeup product by scraping the oily part off with a knife.

Fabfitfun Coloring Book & Colored Pencil: This is a fall coloring book. This is a great way to destress. I know this from experience. My sketches and paintings have helped me through some hardest times in life. I am given mine to someone close, who is currently going through a hard time, and she found it to be helpful.
Manna Kadar Liplocked Priming Gloss Stain: This is a primer, lip stain, and gloss in one, it eliminates the need for a hefty makeup bag but ensures that your lips stay lusciously vibrant all day long. It applies easily and doesn’t show many flaws in the lips. However, it does feather. While it’s moisturizing, you’ll have to reapply it a time or two during the day. A lot of it transfers to mugs and cups when you drink.
Marrakesh Argan and Hemp Hair Oil: This product provides long-lasting frizz control, and is safe for color-treated hair. It provides deep-moisturizing shine and conditioning to your hair and also protects while you heat-style or straighten. I find that it makes my hair look smooth and shiny even when I am not able to blow dry and flat iron. I also use it in my hand to keep it soft. Hemp seed oil improves moisture and elasticity to the skin by lubricating beneath the surface. It also has anti-inflammatory properties that are perfect for those with sensitive skin, eczema or rosacea.
O.R.G Skincare Mineral Peel Face: I am big fan face feel because it gets rid of dead skins, exfoliates, and reveals glowing skin. Hence, just spray it on, massage it on, and get ready to glow.
Jook & Nona Tag Necklace: This is beautiful 18k gold plated stainless necklace that will a chic look to any outfit. I especially love the “Inspire” word in it.

Sinful Color Nail Polish in Kandee Johnson Licorice: Sinful colors have the greatest colors and staying power I have found. I love the color. Don’t let the price fool you.
Original Vaseline 100% Pure Petroleum Jelly: The use of vaseline is countless. I use it for my dry sky and everything. I especially use is on my dry hand.
Madam C.J. Walker Beauty Culture Scent & Shine Brassica Seed Oil: This is a lightweight hair oil that smooths and provides brilliant shine for heat-styled hair, while refreshing with spun sugar and red velvet cream. Just tried this for the first time. I absolutely love the smell! Smells like candy 🙂 Still trying to figure out the right amount to use and application so I don’t get any greasy effect. I’m using a very, very small amount and I work it in my hands to spread it out evenly and then apply lights to hair, mainly ends. Seems to absorb better when I use a warm hair dryer on it for a few seconds. Does give a nice shine and makes hair soft and silky.

The Most Hyped About Kat Von D Alchemist Holographic Palette
Hi there beautiful lovelies! Happy Friday morning to everyone! I am starting the morning with 7 degrees Fahrenheit windchill, but that is not stopping me from enjoying my day and spreading some love. How about we start the day by talking the one of the most hyped about products of last year? Yes, I am talking about none other than Kat Von D’s Alchemist Holographic Palette, which is currently sold out at Kat Von D. However, it just became available at Sephora. I was fortunate enough to get mine from a Sephora store.
Description: The palette features four holographic shades: Emerald, Saphyre, Amethyst, and Opal. You can wear them alone or layer them to your heart content. To be honest, I was a little disappointed with the Too Faced x Kat Von D Better Together Ultimate Eye Collection. However, after looking at the looking at this palette I remembered why I Kat Von D is good at what she do. Perhaps the collaboration wasn’t just meant to be at this point but this palette is brilliant. Each of the four shades within the palette catches the light from every angle for a spectrum of luminizing special effects—perfect for customizing finishes and exploring your artistic expression. Most of all, the hybrid formula also doubles as a super-shimmery highlighter. Simply sweep product over prepped skin. It retails for $32.
Verdict: In the beginning, I was a little skeptical about getting this palette but now can tell you that it is really worth all the hype. It’s highly pigmented, hence little goes a long way. The palette looks small but the colors are beautiful! They are very pigmented and very easy to blend. I debated buying this at first because from pictures the pans looked small. I went into the Sephora store in JC Penny and looked at it in person and the pans are bigger than they appear. I use them as highlighters and eye shadows. I couldn’t be happier and will be repurchasing as well, but hopefully, they will be available. If you’re thinking about getting this, it’s definitely worth the $32 since they aren’t everyday colors.

Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment Made My No Makeup Look a Reality
Hi there my lovelies! Hope you are having a wonderful Saturday. If you have been following my blog post you know that I am a beauty product enthusiast (okay, I admit I am a beauty junky, a hoarder). Most of all, I most of the time I really don’t like wearing makeup at all. I love the no makeup look and am always in the hunt for natural looking products. If you are like me, look no further than Dr. Jart+’s Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment SPF 30 available Sephora. It retails for $52.
Description: This is the all-in-one treatment that includes a color-changing capsule within the formula to cover blemishes and restore the look of the skin’s strength, health, and vitality. It is pale green in color and when applied creates a beige look on the skin. After cleansing skin, apply a moderate amount of the cream. The cream will change from green-to-beige to correct any redness.
Verdict: I love the look the treatment creates. I finally it covers my blemishes. As you can see in the above picture with half my face with the treatment and the other half without the treatment, you can see a clear difference. I used on my face right after I came back from the hospital from being very sick, and the treatment really covers up the fatigued look as well. I love that it is a true sunscreen with zinc oxide. However, I would recommend a serum underneath it because it’s not overly moisturizing. I would definitely recommend this treatment for anyone who could use a little evening out but may not always like to use heavy foundations and concealers.

Briogeo Don’t Despair Repair Deep Conditioning mask: This is great for all types of hair. It really restored my damaged and dry hair, and made it shiny and healthy again. It order to use this mask,after shampooing, massage the mask into hair, ensuring an even application. Then Ieave on the mask for five to 10 minutes, and rinse. For deeper hydration, cover the hair in a plastic shower cap and sit under a dryer, applying direct heat for 30 minutes, then rinse. This retails for $28.
The Vintage Cosmetics Slanted Tweezers: These are high quality, stainless steel Tweezers. Pixi by Petra Brow Tamer: A clear brow gel that sets, shapes, and holds unruly brows in place all day! This cruelty-free product contains aloe vera and panthenol to condition brow hairs and give a natural, soft effect! I use it after I shape my brow with a brow promade. It retails for $10.
Jelly Pong Pong Curl Fairy Lashes: This cruelty-free sculpting, curling mascara continually curls lashes throughout the day with a unique synthesis of Moringa Seed resin that dries down and holds the curl of lashes for long-lasting results. I really like the mascara because of the nice volume and flake free lash separation. l did not get much in terms of lash curling bat that doesn’t bother me. This retails for $21.95.
Nuxe Paris Gentle Toning Lotion: This has a rose scent. It moisturizes and restores the delicate pH levels of your skin while gently removing excess oils and impurities. Coconut-derived surfactants soften and protect your skin while hyaluronic acid delivers non-irritating moisture. Witch hazel smoothes your skin’s texture while allantoin and damascena rose extract calm inflammation. It also does a good job of getting rid of any dead skin and smoothing before I put on a cream. This is great for someone with drier skin type.

Hi there my lovelies! Hope you are having a wonderful Tuesday. Today I want to write about the Sephora Favorites Beauty After Last Call collection. This collection is worth $104 for the price of just $36. The collection includes a face mask, vitamins, lip balm, corrector, highlighter, face primer, and lash primer.
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Liquid in Opal: This is a liquid highlighter that gives skin a dewy look. I love the shimmer it gives. I have always been a fan of Becca highlighters and the glow it creates.
Benefit Cosmetics They’re Real! Tinted Primer in Mink Brown: This mink primer defines, and primes lashes for a natural, feathery look. I have never used a lash primer before and can definitely see the difference it creates. It is water-resistant and conditions lashes with provitamin B5.
Bobbi Brown Retouching Face Pencil in Illuminate and Sharpener: This is a good sharpener to have in my collection. This is a good sharpener. The illuminate pencil is ideal for all skintones. You can use it for highlighting cheekbones, the inner corners of the eyes, or brow bones—and any feature you want to spotlight your features. I love the two items together. The best thing that I love about this pencil is that it’s really creamy and it glides on smoothly.
Dr. Jart+ Dermask Intra Jet Firming Solution: This gel mask is activated by body heat to release the beneficial ingredients infused within. This mask made my skin hydrated, happy, tightened and glowing. Washed face with water, applied the mask (soaking wet with the product out of the bag), waited 40 minutes. While it was on my face, it felt perfectly heavy with product. The two part mask was very helpful for staying on my face. Overall, I loved the product.
Hum Nutrition Raw Beauty Green Superfood Blend in Mint Chocolate Chip Infusion: This powder is supposed to be radiant skin and healthy metabolism. I added it to milk. The powder doesn’t mix well, but that doesn’t bother me. However, I couldn’t taste the chocolate chip. I just tasted like green tea to me. Since I only had it once, I didn’t feel any difference. I am not sure if I am going to order this product again.
SMASHBOX Photo Finish Primer Water: This is a two-in-one primer and setting spray that hydrates, preps, and refreshes skin. I use to refresh my skin. I won’t say to run and buy it but if you want to try something new, why not. If you have dry skin you may love it.
Tarte Rainforest of the Sea quench lip rescue in Nude: This is a tinted lip balm that is infused with an antioxidant and vitamin-rich lip quencher. It is powered by a blend of essential extracts and oils, and a protective antioxidant barrier against daily aggressors. It keeps my lips hydrated for a good 4 hours before I have to re-apply the balm.

The set includes two full-size and four deluxe-size nude lip essentials: Bite Beauty’s Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Honeycomb, Buxom Full-On Lip Cream in White Russian, Estée Edit The Barest Contour lip Liner in 05 In The Buff, Marc Jacobs Beauty Le Marc Lip Crème in 246 Slow Burn, Urban Decay Vice Lipstick in 1993 Comfort Matte, and Too Faced’s Cosmetics Melted Matte Liquified Matte Long Wear Lipstick in Queen B.
Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Honeycomb: This product goes on smooth with a creamy finish. It has sufficient staying power and really helps keep my lips hydrated. It’s really nude color. It’s a very smooth and buttery lipstick.
Buxom Full-On Lip Cream in White Russian: This is a sheer lipgloss. I do find it a tad sticky like a typical lipgloss and it doesn’t really hydrate but it’s certainly not drying. The color is completely nude and disappears on my lip. Of all the six in the collection, this has to be my lip favorite.
Estée Edit The Barest Contour lip Liner in 05 In The Buff: This is soft and creamy lip liner that I really like. It glides on smoothly and gives the perfect color for a barely there look.
Marc Jacobs Beauty Le Marc Lip Crème in 246 Slow Burn: I love the Marc Jacobs Beauty Le Marc Lip Creme formula. It’s very hydrating and smooth yet matte at the same time. The color also lasts a long time. Marc Jacobs is one of my favorite lipstick brands.
Urban Decay Vice Lipstick in 1993 Comfort Matte: This formula is not super drying and lasts all day. My lips always feel moisturized. I have very happy with the color as well.
Too Faced’s Cosmetics Melted Matte Liquified Matte Long Wear Lipstick in Queen B: Finally, this matte lipstick glides on very evenly, very smooth, and dried with a great finish. It stays on all day. It does not come off with eating and drinking and it is still on by the end of the day.

The Tarteist Pro Amazonian Clay Palette
Hi there my lovelies! Happy hump day everyone. I thought I would add a little pizzazz to your day with my review of the Tarteist Pro Amazonian Clay palette. After, reviewing the pastel goth palette I was happy to get back to my comfort zone with this beautiful palette from Tarte.
Description: This palette comes in 20 ultra-pigmented shades that are infused with Amazonian clay. It comes in 16 beautiful matte shades and 4 brand-new iridescent luster shades with a micro-shimmer, duo chrome finish.
Verdict: I saw this palette first at Sephora store and really loved the colors. I really love the shades. When you take it out of the box it’s little flaky but it really stays put once on. Most of all, it’s blendable. The matte shadows in this palette are beyond amazing, super pigmented and buttery. The palette is very versatile and I would highly recommend this palette to everyone. First Look at the Look Fantastic Subscription Box
Hi there my lovelies! Hope you are having a wonderful Sunday. Today, I wanted to take the time and go over the first ever experience with the Look Fantastic Beauty Box. It is an online British beauty boutique. This European company offers 1, 3, 6 or 12-month subscription and all boxes will continue to dispatch up until this point and then the subscription will not renew.
I have tried this subscription box for the first time. I signed up for a 3-month subscription for $54. For the first box, I received six beauty products: Philip Kinsley Elasticizer Pre-Shampoo Treatment, Balance Me Dailly Essentials Pure Skin Face Wash, CoQ10 + Caviar Face Mask Sheet, Mellow Ultra Matte in Madness, and Illamasqua Hydra Veil Rehydrating Gel.
Philip Kinsley Elasticizer Pre-Shampoo Treatment: I have fine, thin hair. I used in wet hair and then covered my scalp with a shower cap. I washed my hair after 20 minutes. My hair felt soft and manageable. I am not a big fan of spending too much time on hair treatment at home, however, I was impressed with the result. However, knowing me, I am not sure if I am going to spend money on this product when I same result with other product. I will share my review in a later post.
Balance Me Dailly Essentials Pure Skin Face Wash: This is a daily cleanser that eliminates daily grime and makeup. It has a nice scent. I literally just washed my face with this face wash after a long day and my face feels fresh and clean. My face feels little cleaner and lighter than the Philosophy Purity wash. However, I will not spend $20 for a 125 mL face wash. I want to thank Look Fantastic for introducing me to a natural product.
CoQ10 + Caviar Face Mask Sheet: This is a deep hydrating sheet mask that retails for $6.50. It combines Caviar with CoQ10 and Witch Hazel, the serum mask expertly enhances skin elasticity while hydrating, protecting and reducing redness. It’s a straight up dermatologist tested mask that is not only good for tightening skin, it also repairs and rejuvenates damaged skin cells. What I liked about this serum drenched sheet mask is that it made my skin feel soft and hydrated.
Mellow Ultra Matte Lipstick in Madness: This is more like a creamy matte lipstick that is highly pigmented, richly formulated and long-wearing. It glides on smoothly, leaving a velvety-smooth, moisturizing finish. The color is nice as well. I have been wearing this for the past three hours and the pigment is still strong and lip still feels moisturized.
Illamasqua Hydra Veil Rehydrating Gel: This my friends was a pure disappointment. In Incredible Hulk’s words, I received a puny little sample size that didn’t hydrate my skin much. I actually didn’t see any difference in my skin. For the price of $45 for 30ml, this gel is definitely not the price.
Bubble T Bath & Body – Bath Fizzer in Hibiscus & Acai berry Tea: This bath bomb is infused with a combination of unique tea and fruit fragrances to leave you feeling restored. I am not a big bath person. However, after a long stressful week, I didn’t realize how much I need this bath bomb to freshen me.
My beautiful and wonderful readers, this was my very first experience with Look Fantastic. Since they are located in the UK, communication is not great. However, once do you get hold of them their customer service is wonderful. They really try to work hard to get any issues resolved. However, I am not sure if I can go through a long line of communication where I have to wait for few days to get any questions answered.

Pretty Women Nail Polish in I Am Not a Ballerina: Who does not like a nice pink toned nail polish? I love the baby pink color. One thing that I love the most about this nail polish is that it is vegan and cruelty-free. The retail price for the polish is $7.99.
NOTE Fragrances Pink Peony Eau de Parfum (5 mL): This larger than normal sample size has a light floral tone with a hint of citrus, jasmine, and amber musk. The smell is not overpowering. The 5 mL sample retails for $6.
Trust Fund Beauty Lip Gloss in Blame Game: This is lip gloss looks little darker than nude on my lips. I naturally have a darker lip color hence I have added it to my skin for review. I have been wearing it for couple hours now and so far my lips are still hydrated. I do have to admit that I have not eaten or drank anything during this time. This gloss retails for $22.
ModelCo BLUSH Cheek Powder in Peach Bellini: This is a light peach colored blush that creates a nice glow to brighten every complexion. I am always a big fan softer toned blushes and this is a nice one to own. The blush retails for $26.
Manna Kadar Cosmetics Fantasy 3-in-1 Eyeshadow: Finally the 3-in-1 is a pearlized powder blush, highlighter, and eyeshadow that comes in a champagne pink shade. It glides on smoothly and evenly in order to provide the perfect amount of color for a healthy glow on your eyes, cheeks or desired areas for highlighting. This Fantasy 3-in-1 retails for $19. I actually love the soft glow it creates and can wait to use it.

Kat Von D Pastel Goth Eyeshadow Palette
Hi there my lovelies! Hope you had a wonderful Thursday. Have you seen the new Pastel Goth Eyeshadow Palette from Kat Von D? If not look no further. I got the chance to get hold of one from Sephora for $38 and today, I will share my review with you.
Description: This is an all-new eyeshadow palette from Kat Von D with 8 pastel matte shades. The beautiful collection will allow you to create an endless rainbow of looks. It is paraben, sulfates, and phthalates.
Verdict: This is a beautiful pastel palette with buildable color. This is beautiful palette is great for the Spring. The pigment is amazing. The shades are really blendable and can easily be “toned down” by mixing with the white color. The shades are nice but it’s just not for me. However, if you like the pastel colors this is a beautiful palette to own. Overall, Kat Von D did a wonderful job with the palette.

Defeat Your Dry/Cracked Feet Monster
Hi there my lovelies! Hope you had a wonderful long weekend. Today I want to discuss wit you regarding my battle with dry and cracked feet and how I finally defeated my monster.
If you are like me, then you know the agony of dealing with dry and cracked feet, and how unsightly it is to look at. I was always amazed by my grandma’s baby soft feet till her death on her 84th birthday. Her secret to soft feet is putting vaseline generously on her feet ever morning after a shower and then wearing sock all day. At night, she would wash her feet again and were soft cotton socks to go to bed.
I have tried by grandma’s routine and it just didn’t work for me. It reduced the dryness a little but my feet are still dry and cracked. My prayers were finally answered with Boscia Baby Soft Food Peel that I got from Sephora for $22. I was amazed how it got rid of all the trouble spots, leaving my feet nice and softer than ever before.
Description: This natural exfoliating peel contains alpha hydroxy acids and fruit extracts that help reveal softer and smoother skin. It gently removes dead skins from dry and rough feet and leaves smoother and rejuvenated skin.
How to Use:
- Thoroughly wash your feet. Fort best result, soak clean feet in warm water to soften skin.
- Open foil to remove booties, and to open booties cut along the dotted lines along each bootie with
- Slide one foot into each bootie, and leave on for 60 to 90 minutes depending on the amount of exfoliation you want. I left mine on for 90 minutes. For best result, wear a thick pair of sock over booties to warm feet and to help the formula penetrate into the skin. DO NOT move around on fee while wearing booties.
- Remove and discard booties once used.
- Dead skin cells will begin to naturally peel in four to five days. Individual peeling time varies and can take up to two weeks. DO NOT forcibly remove peeling skin.
- Wear socks until the peeling process is complete in order to contain dead skin and protect your feet.
Verdict: To be honest. I was a little bit skeptical at first about using this peeling treatment but then decided to give it a try. I followed the instruction. For me, the peeling process started slowly by day 6. However, by day 8, the peeling skin was very visible. I continued to follow my daily routine of washing my feet every day. I wore socks to protect my peeling feet. By day 11, I had soft, rejuvenated feet. My beautiful readers, I defeated my dry and cracked feet monster thanks to Boscia Baby Soft Foot Peel.

Beauty Products Not Worth Your Money and 100+
Hi there my lovelies! Happy Saturday to all my lovely and wonderful readers out there. I want to start by saying thank you to each one of you for helping me reach 100 plus followers! Thank you, from the bottom of my heart! Today, I want to take the opportunity to write to you about three beauty products that you should not waste your time and hard earned money.
Anastasia Beverly Hills DipBrow Pomade ($18): Being a huge fan of Anastasia Beverly Hills fan, I was really excited about trying the brow pomade. However, I was surprised by its poor quality. The pomade is a waterproof formula that acts as an all-in-one brow product. However, I found it to be very dry. As a result, it’s hard to use and shape my brow. At the end, I don’t think it’s worth your money.
Better Together Palette ($65): This is one of the most hype about beauty products of 2016. However, as I have mentioned in my review, the eyeshadow palette is disappointing. The packaging is great and the concept is beautiful, but this palette is not worth your time and money. Some of the shades are nearly invisible. Overall for $65, it’s not worth the hype and your money.
Brazilian Kiss Lip Butter ($18): This $18 balm did leave my lips soft and supple, but it smells like butter. I am not willing to spend $18 for a lip butter that actually smells like butter and does not provide anything new. So my beautiful readers, don’t waste your money that gives you butter smell and nothing spectacularly better than eos.
Yves Saint Laurent Touche Éclat Radiant Touch ($42): This is supposed to be an instant pick-me-up product that immediately erases any signs of fatigue, and brightens the complexion. Got get me know, I love YSL products, they are the ultimate bearer of luxury beauty and carries wonderful products. However, for $42, I just don’t find this product worth the hype or the money.
In conclusion, my beautiful readers there are some beautiful products out there. Nonetheless, the above products don’t provide the bang for the bucks. Have your tried these products? What beauty products is not the hype for you? Which are your favorites?

It Cosmetics Bye Bye Foundation Full Coverage Moisturizer: Worth the Price
Hi there, my lovelies! I hope you are having a wonderful Tuesday. Today I want to talk about the much hyped about It Cosmetic’s Bye Bye Foundation Full Coverage Moisturizer. I was able to try it out for the first time this morning and I will give my first-hand experience of what I thought about the moisturizer.
Description: I first found out about the product from those infomercials. Infomercials usually don’t persuade me to buy something but I went online right away because I am a fan of It Cosmetics and love their products. This moisturizer is supposed to be the first-ever full-coverage moisturizer from It Cosmetics that will let you say bye to your foundation. This moisturizer was clinical shown to improve the look of your skin, even after you take it off. Its anti-aging ingredients will help treat and correct the look of aging skin and transform your skin into a more youthful looking skin. Most of all, its mineral-based SPF 50+ broad-spectrum physical sunscreen will protect and help prevent free-radical damage for a healthier, younger-looking skin.
Verdict: As you can see from the picture, I have raccoon eyes with dark circle and hyperpigmentation along with dark spots. I was surprised how light the moisturizer is. I actually received mine (Described as 100% Authentic) from Ebay for only $39.99. You can get yours from It Cosmetics for $65. This moisturizer does a better job than a lot of the foundations in making my face look flawless. It just took me less than a minute to get the look. However, I still had some dark some though significantly lightened. I will actually give this moisturizer 4 and a half star just because it does not cover everything, but it does do a very good job. Will it replace foundation for everyday use? Definitely. My beautiful readers, I have just found my favorite moisturizer that may just have replaced foundation for me for the most part. I will still use foundation but only in special occasions.
If you are like me and don’t like to spend so much time getting your looks in the morning, then get the It Cosmetic’s Bye Bye Foundation Full Coverage Moisturizer, and it will dramatically cut down morning beauty time. Trust me. This stuff delivers on its promise. Get it if not for anything else but as a flawless CC moisturizer with SPF 50+. However, Bye Bye Foundation is not oil-free. It does contain essential oils to hydrate, nourish, and calm the skin. Hence consult your doctor before use to confirm this product is right for you! Verdict: After receiving the color I was amazed by the color. I love the metallic look that you can create from this palette. With less than $5, I definitely give this palette five stars and I can see why it is out of stock. The colors show through exactly how they are on the pallet, which took some getting used to because a little goes a long ways. It also lasts well. This 12 palette is worth much for than the $4.97 it cost me to get the palette.

NYX Cosmetic – Must Have Eye Glitter Collection
Hi There! How are you? Hope you had another wonderful day. Today, I wanted to take the time to go over a some simple products that I got Ulta that I really loved and want to share with you.
Roll-on Shimmer in Platinum ($3.99): This is a silky formulation glides on smoothly and is easy to blend. There are various colors available, which can be used as eye shadow or as highlighter. The roll-on shimmer easily blend the shimmer powder using a brush or clean fingers.
Verdict: I love this glitter and for less then $4 it’s amazing. It applies easily. Not sticky. Or gluey. I blended it with some regular eyeshadow and a fluffy brush. I use the roll on shimmer over my eyeshadow. It was my perfect New Year look.
Prismatic Eyeshadow in Tin and Rose Dust ($5.99): Thanks to Ipsy, I first got introduced to these cute little eyeshadows. Give your eyes extra sparkle and dimension with a fully pigmented metallic texture with NYX Cosmetics Prismatic Eye Shadow. Most of all it only cost $5.99.
Overall, I am really impressed by NYX cosmetics. You get these wonderful pigmented and blendable eyeshadows without paying high price tags of Urban Decay or Anastasia Beverly Hills. I hope you enjoy this post as much as I loved writing it.

Much Awaited Too Faced x Kat Von D Better Together Ultimate Eye Collection
Hi There lovelies! Hope you all had a great day today. Today I want to share with you my review on the much awaited Too Faced x Kat Von D Better Together Ultimate Eye Collection. Hope you enjoy the blog as much as I loved writing it.
Description: This is a super-limited-edition collection with an interlocking heart eye shadow palette, Kat Von D’s beloved Tattoo Liner, and a full size of Too Faced’s iconic Better Than Sex Mascara. Better Together is a collaboration between makeup icons, Kat Von D and Too Faced Cosmetics. Kat and Jerrod each curated six brand new eye shadows for their respective sides of the palette. Inspired by a BFF heart necklace, the palette has a magnetic center panel, so you can separate the two halves of the palette. Create a look using just one side of the palette, or mix and match shades from both sides.
The Kat Von D Palette is accompanied by the beloved Tatto Liner. This tattoo liner is a liquid eyeliner with an innovative brush tip for effortless, precise application. The fine brush tip glides across the lashline for incredibly fluid application, allowing you to create a variety of looks with ease.
Finally, finish off the look with Too Faced’s Better Than Sex Mascara. With each coat, lashes are full, defined, and stretched to unbelievable lengths for 1,944 percent more volume. The collagen-fueled formula and hourglass-shaped brush separate, coat, and curl each lash to voluptuous perfection.
Verdict: You only get 12 shades but they’re all so creamy and amazing. I love the bold colorful side of Kat Von D is juxtaposed by soft palettes of Too Faced. One of the matte pigment was non-existent, I had to swipe about a dozen times to get any pigment and they were dry and powdery. As you can see from the swatch the purple color looks straight up brown. Nonetheless, I did like the shimmer shades. As for the Kat Von D palette, I do liked how pigmented the shades are.
I have always liked the Too Faced mascara because it provides amazing volume. It’s not my favorite mascara but I do like it. It’s really black and makes my lashes long and voluminous. They stay like that all day long. As for the liner, it applies smoothly and stays in place all day. The black is dark and rich. However, I like my Maybelline New York Eye Studio Master Precise Liquid Eyeliner, which cost just a fraction ($5.99). Overall, I will give 3 stars to this collection. For $65 I don’t think it’s worth the price to get a 12 shades palette. The full sized mascara and liner together cost $43 and for for $22 you are getting a 12 shades eye shadow palette. Hence, if you already like the mascara and the liner, then with just $22 more you can try the new shadow palette.
Overall, I did not like some of the 12 shades from the Better Together collection. I am not a big fan of this palette. The packaging is great and concept is beautiful but the collection is just not for me. I think that I liked their individual palettes much better.

My Favorite Beauty Products of 2016
Hi There! Hope you are having a wonderful day. It’s hard to believe we are almost at the end of 2016. With only a day till New Year, I thought I would take the time and share with you – my beloved and wonderful readers – my favorite beauty products from 2016. They are by no means the best-selling or the most popular beauty products but I have come to appreciate them and enjoy them over the past year.
1. Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit – That Glow ($40)
Description: This is one of the most popular collections from Anastasia Beverly Hills. This glow kit contains four metallic powder highlighters for intense luminosity. The kit is currently sold out everywhere. You can add your name to the waitlist and get notified once the kit is available. Layer shades of Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit, or wear them separately, on the face and body for a radiant glow.
Verdict: This is hands down one of my favorite beauty products from 2016. This is such an amazing product. They are such high quality, it’s incredible. It’s so smooth and buttery can be worn so it looks natural or so you can be seen from the moon. I have That Glow color and it has a great mix of colors. The colors are super pigmented and are really easy to blend. The colors are long-lasting as well. I have medium skin tone and I can wear all of the colors except bronzed as a highlight but they all look good as eyeshadows as well. If you can get your hands on this product I would highly recommend it for everyone.
2. Oval Brush Set ($15.99) at Amazon
Description: Oval Brushes have become quite popular this year, and if you are like me you will try out anything new in the beauty world just to discover the hype for yourself. I have been using this Yoseng 10 Pcs New fashionable Super Soft Oval Toothbrush Makeup Brush Set the past 6 months and I absolutely love it. These brushes come in various color design, and are made with high quality synthetic hair providing superb ability to hold powder, liquid and creams.
Verdict: To be honest, when it comes to face make-up I know no longer use my old love, kabuki brushes. I have these oval brushes they blend the make-up so much better. However, when it comes to eye-makeup, I am still more comfortable with the old make-up brushes. It perhaps have to do with my lack of hand flexibility to maneuver the brushes to do eye make-up post my hand surgery but I just love using my old eye makeup brushes more. If you are willing to try new brushes click on the link above and try out these oval brushes. I would highly recommend the oval brushes to everyone. I love beauty I am always looking for a quick way of doing things. Hence I am I find these brushes more time saving then the beauty blenders. Perhaps it’s the artist in my talking but it’s the brushes are designed to give your better control.
3. BH Costimetics’ Galaxy Chic Baked Eyeshadow Palette($14)
Description: This palette includes a range of out of this world colors that work for everyone. From everyday neutrals to vibrant hues, your look will undoubtedly be Galaxy Chic!
Verdict: If you have not tried this eyeshadow palette yet you should order as soon as possible. Trust me my beautiful friends, for $14 you will not go wrong with this investment. The colors are so beautiful and blendable. I have absolutely fallen in love with this palette. Even our friends at Allure cannot stop raving about this popular product from 2016. It’s basically every shimmer you need.
4. Urban Decay Moondust Eyeshadow Palette($49)
Description: This eyeshadow palette takes glittery eye looks to a whole new level. Laced with micro-fine bits of iridescent sparkle and lush 3-D metallics, these shadows create a gorgeous, diamond-like effect.
Verdict: I know I am just an eye shadow fanatic but this is another of my favorite beauty product from 2016. I love everything about this palette: from the gunmetal case to the beautiful and sparkly shadows. I know that my mom have tried to steal this palette from me whenever she has gotten the chance.
5. MAC Extra Dimension Skinfinish Powder ($33)
Description:This is a liquid-powder highlighter that gives a luminous, well-defined finish. I got the one in Beaming Blush. It is designed to sculpt and highlight your face.
Verdict: To be honest, I like it better than Anastasia Beverly Hills illuminators. That being said, this powder does not replace the glow it, which is a versatile product. I have not stopped using it so far. It blends flawlessly over the skin to add radiance and shimmer. It looks beautiful when the light catches it. I am so glad that I walked in the Mac store at Union Station on November 23rd and was recommended this powder.
6. MAC Prep + Prime Colour Correcting SPF 30 Primer ($31)
Description:This is an oil-controlling tinted primer, color corrector and sun protectant. This is a multitasking formula that evens skin tone, increases luminosity and inhibits oily shine while protecting from harmful UVA/UVB rays. This moisturizing primer also keeps skin fresh and hydrated throughout the day.
Verdict: I got the color Recharge because of my horrible dark circles and it does wonders covering it. I use concealers along and the color corrector from Tarte, which is so dark. However, this one can just use it by itself when I am lazy I just use to instantly lighten my dark circle and just and my hyper-pigmentation and just leave home with a light foundation power. I loved this so much I just ordered this online again. I am completely dependent this primer because I can dab this on to cover my dark circle even when I am too lazy to wear make-up.
7. Modern Renaissance Eye Shadow Palette from Anastasia Beverly Hills ($42)
Description: This palatte puts a present-day take on Renaissance colors, this eye palette features 14 shades that let you create stylish, day to night looks.
Verdict: I absolutely love the palette because of the versatility of the color and look your can get from the palette. The shadows are very pigmented and a little goes a long way! They are also very buttery and incredibly easy to blend. My only problem is sometimes it’s too easy to over-blend. I usually blend my shadows a lot, but for these, I need to blend very lightly or else they blend out too much. If you think about it, it is less expensive than a lot of other comparable palettes which is nice.
8. Loreal EverPure Volume Shampoo and Conditioner
Description: Thanks to Influenster VoxBox, I found my new haircare best friend. As I have shared with you earlier I have very thin, color-treated and hard to adjust hair.However, when I receive the Loreal Ever Pure VoxBox it was easier for me to try because of crueltry-free, vegan poduct. Additionally, color-treated hair requires special care. This formula is especially gentle on color. There are no harsh sulfates, salts, or surfactants that can strip, dull and damage hair. One can experience a purely sensational luxurious lather and a fresh aromatic fragrance that bloom. EverPure is 100% sulfate-free, Paraben-free, and vegan with no animal derived ingredients or by-products.
Verdict: My hair absolutely loves this product and since I have started using EverPure I have been using less, and less hairs. Yes! My beautiful and wonderful readers, you have heard me right. In fact, by my calculation, my hair loss has reduced by greater than 50%. I cannot ask for anything more. The smell is nice and I loved the lather it formed. At end my hair felt light and alive at the same time. The beautiful readers, thanks to influenster, my hair just found a new best friend. The best part is the product is vegan and cruelty free. Overall, I absolutely love EverPure Volume shampoo and conditioner. My hair now can breathe freely.
9. Ciaté London Liquid Velvet Moisturizing Matte Liquid Lipstick in Pin Up ($19)
Description: Liquid Velvet Moisturizing Matte Liquid Lipstick combines highly-pigmented, gorgeous matte, long-wearing lip color with hyaluronic acid for its intense lip-conditioning benefits so that lips appear fuller, while feeling more supple and smooth.
Verdict: I actually got two of these: one through the Ciaté London Chloe Morello Beauty Haul Makeup Set from Sephora and the second through the Ipsy December Glam bag. I am so that I was introduced to this lip color and it is beautiful. I love the color of the lip creme. It would look good on anyone. It goes on so smoothly and is really well-pigmented. This lipstick is long wearing, nondrying and there is no fading in the inner lip area. I have another of this from the Ciate London Chloe Morello Beauty Haul Makeup Set. I am glad that now I have two of this beautiful love liquid lipstick and I will use it.You can get the lipstick for $19.
10. Sephora Collection Color Switch by Vera Mona Brush Cleaner ($18)
Description: This is a dry, makeup-removing sponge that allows you to switch colors without having to switch brushes.The special material allows you to remove pigment from your brushes without brush cleaner formula. Simply swipe the brush over the sponge until pigment is removed and move on to the next color. The sponge is completely reusable and can be cleaned by washing it with warm water and soap or it can be sprayed with disinfecting brush cleaner for a quick cleanse.
Verdict: My beautiful readers, as I have mentioned earlier, I love beauty and makeup but at the same time I love efficiency. This brush cleaner brings efficiency to the palm hands. You can switch between different color powder eyeshadow swatches without a touch of water. If that is not efficiency than what is? My eye makeup time has been significantly reduced in the morning time thanks to this cleaner. The fact that I can quickly clean by brush without water just between color switches is amazing and a huge time saver. Did I mention that I absolutely love this? It is hands down one of the most useful products to have in your collection!

Brazilian Kiss Lip Butter: Worth the Price?
Hi There! Hope you are having a wonderful Thursday morning. Here in the Washington D.C. metro area we are in the the upper 30s with heavy rain but cannot complaint. It is hard to believe that the year is almost over. I am so much to be thankful for this year. I am very thankful for my wonderful family and friends and for having such wonderful readers like you and your support. Today, I am reviewing this new lip balm came across at Sephora.
Description: I heard about the Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Kiss Cupuacu Lip Butter online and hence ordered from Sephora for $18. According to the website, the lip butter nourishes lips for a soft, supple feel, and is powered by a blend of extraordinarily nourishing cupuaçu butter, antioxidant powerhouse açaí, and super-conditioning coconut oil, it leaves lips traced with a Brazilian caramel scent. This product is formulated without PEG’s, synthetic colors, animal by-products, and propylene glycol. It leaves your lip soft with a dewy sheen that intensifies your natural lip color.
Ingredients: Cupuaçu Butter to lock in moisture with fatty-acids, phytosterols, and polyphenols; Acai – the antioxidant powerhouse packed into one super fruit helps keep skin looking and feeling young, Coconut Oil that melts easily into skin to soften, condition, and moisturize; Organic Helianthus Annuus Seed (Sunflower) Oil, Beeswax, Organic Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Organic Olea Europea (Extra Virgin Olive) Oil, Vitis Vinifera (Grapeseed) Oil, Theobroma Grandiflorum (Cupuaçu), Euterpe Oleracae (Açai) Extract Organic, Cannabis Sativa Seed (Hemp) Oil, Butter, Flavor, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Extract, Tocopherol, Aloe Vera.
Verdict: It came is yellow, color box. As per description, when I opened the lid I was expecting a caramel scent but I don’t know if it is just me, all I smelled is just buttery smell. It left my lips soft and supple. However, is it worth the $18. For me, the answer is no. Eos lip balm (read my review here) is still number one and it only cost $3.99. My beautiful readers if you ask me don’t spend $18 on this product. Eos is still better this Brazilian Kiss. I even like. My family and I also love Rosebud Perfume Co. Minted Rose Lip Balm (read me review here), except for it’s extremely hard to open lid.
My beautiful readers, the good things about the Brazilian lip balm are that it is soft, moisturizing, glides easily, long lasting, and makes your lips feel supple. However, the biggest con for the balm is the cost. For $18, I will not get a balm that smells like butter and is does not provide me anything new. I got one just for my dad so that I can ask him which one he would prefer, and he ranked the Brazilian lip balm after Eos, and Rosebud Perfume Co. In conclusion, I would not recommend this lip butter if you are looking for something new and better. However, if you don’t care about the price and are okay with another good addition to your lip balm collection than go for it.

Verdict: This is a delight to have at an affordable price. It’s really wearable so that is great. It’s very beautiful on your cheek bones and under eyes. Don’t forget to use a fan brush with this highlighter!
Anastasia Beverly Hills Master Palette By Mario is another product from the Allure list that made me excited. It’s available at Sephora for $45. This palette features twelve neutral and jewel-toned shades in a range of matte to metallic finishes. The new rich, highly pigmented formula ensures bold color, while the included double-ended shadow brush provides easy application. The convenient mirrored compact slides easily into a bag for on-the-go application.

Verdict: This is my third palette from the Anastasia Beverly Hills Collection and I am glad that I got it. The colors complement each other. And they are easily blended and combined to make different looks with just this palette.

Verdict: It’s a nice palette. Not only is this palette beautiful to look at, it swatches like butter and looks amazing on the eyes! It’s basically every shimmer you need. The packaging is too cute to resist for a such a great price!
There are few other products that I wanted to try but are currently sold out hence could not give my true opinion. As I try some those products I will share my review with you.

What did Santa left for you under the tree this year? Hope you got wanted. It was a great day for me because I got to be with my love ones.
My lovely readers, today I will talk to you about this because stalking staffer that I received that year that I would recommend to everyone. It’s the Sephora Collection Color Switch By Vera Mona Brush Cleaner, which is available at Sephora for $18.
Description: This is a dry, makeup-removing sponge that allows you to switch colors without having to switch brushes. This cleaner is inspired by a common makeup artist dilemma of how remove powder product from brushes without the drying time of a liquid brush cleaner, this sponge offers a dry alternative. The special material allows you to remove pigment from your brushes without brush cleaner formula. Simply swipe the brush over the sponge until pigment is removed and move on to the next color. The sponge is completely reusable and can be cleaned by washing it with warm water and soap or it can be sprayed with disinfecting brush cleaner for a quick cleanse.
How to Use: In order to use this cleaner simply glide any eye shadow brush in a circular motion against the Color Switch sponge to remove one color and then switch to the next color. In order to reuse or disinfect the Color Switch sponge, add a small drop of soap, run it under warm water, squeeze out all pigment, and lay flat to dry. Finally, for a quick clean, spray the Color Switch Sponge with disinfecting brush cleaning spray and lay flat to dry.
Verdict: I absolutely love this product. The fact that I can quickly clean by brush without water just between color switches is amazing and a huge time saver. Did I mention that I absolutely love this? It is hands down one of the most useful products to have in your collection! I also think this would be a great addition for someone who is low on brushes or just getting started with makeup. I have lots of brushes but with this product, I can use the same brushes over and over. I would highly recommend this product to everyone

First Aid Beauty Review
Hi There! Hope you had a wonderful Christmas holiday with your loved ones. I hope you had the chance to enjoy being in the moment and creating lasting memories. What did you have in your stockings and under the Christmas tree? I had so much fun that I forgot that our heat pump is broken and the temperature is just in the 50s inside the house. Enough about me, today I want to talk about two products that I had the chance to use the past few months.
First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads ($30): This is a daily treatment pad that contains just the right amount of lactic and glycolic acids to safely and effectively exfoliate, tone, and brighten. The pads contain just the right amount of lactic and glycolic acids to make them safe and effective for daily use, even for people with sensitive skin. Cucumber and Indian gooseberry tone the face, while lemon peel and licorice root leave the skin looking bright and glowing. Regular use of these pads will smooth the skin’s texture, providing a perfect canvas for flawless makeup application.
Benefits: Glycolic acid is part of the group of active compounds known as AHA’s (alpha hydroxy acids). Derived from cane sugar: It has the smallest molecules in the group so is able to penetrate skin deeply and easily, making it the most effective for treating fine lines, acne, blackheads, dullness, oiliness etc. Lactic acid on the other hand is one of the most popular AHAs in skin care today, marketed as a powerful ingredient that helps reduce acne breakouts and the appearance of wrinkles and other signs of aging.

Verdict: I absolutely love this product. As I have mentioned above, both lactic acid and glycolic acid are great for exfoliating skins, improving dark spot, and even treat fine lines and age spots. I still have blister scars from my trip to freezing cold, and windy city of Chicago in 2014 and this is a great addition to treat that. Stay tuned for my dark spot skin care regimen. I have combination dry sensitive skin and this doesn’t aggregate it at all. I got this as a gift and I this, in addition to other skincare regimen, did help with my scars. This is no magical product and I don’t know if it works by itself but is a great combination with other skincare product.
Detox Eye Roller ($26): This is a metal roller ball that gently distributes lymphatic build-up from underneath the eyes, alleviating under eye puffiness and dark circles. The Detox Eye Roller gently distributes lymphatic build-up from underneath the eyes, which revitalizes, smoothes, and brightens the eye area. It contains caffeine, a potent vasoconstrictor that constricts the fine blood vessels that cause dark under eye circles and within minutes of application, the appearance of the under eye area is improved with more dramatic results over time. Sodium Hyaluronate and advanced peptides recapture lost volume and increase collagen production to reduce fine lines. Witch hazel protects and soothes the very delicate skin under the eye and the FAB Antioxidant Booster combats free radicals.
How to Use: In order to use this roller just turn it over and shake well. Then gently roll the tip from inner to outer corners of the undereye area 2 or 3 times. Apply twice daily or as needed.

Verdict: Even though this roller has all the amazing ingredients, it did not help me with my horrible dark circles. I have been using this for about 3 weeks now and have not seen a difference yet. Perhaps it is just not me. I saw one reviewer say that perhaps it’s for severe dark circles or puffiness, and I have severe dark circle. I have actually seen better results with IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Eye Cream, which can be found at Sephora for $48. I have not found my magic under eye cream yet. I have seen some difference with the IT eye cream, but the FAB detox roller had not made any difference for my dark circle. Perhaps if you have lighter dark circles, this product is for you.

Additionally, color-treated hair requires special care. This formula is especially gentle on color. There are no harsh sulfates, salts, or surfactants that can strip, dull and damage hair. One can experience a purely sensational luxurious lather and a fresh aromatic fragrance that bloom. EverPure is 100% sulfate-free, Paraben-free, and vegan with no animal derived ingredients or by-products.
How to Use: Appy to wet hair and massage gently into a thick lather. Rinse thoroughly. Follow with EverPure Volume conditioner.
Verdict: My hair is very judgmental. It does not like any product. I have very fine, color-treated hair and I have to be very careful about what product I use on my hair. Only few products suits my hair and I only stick to those products only. However, after I used the EverPure shampoo and conditioner, I am surprised how much my hair soaked about the product and loved it. I lost so little hair. The smell is nice and I loved the lather it formed. At end my hair felt light and alive at the same time. The beautiful readers, thanks to influenster, my hair just found a new best friend. The best part is the product is vegan and cruelty free. One thing that I hated just a bit is that the conditioner tube was little broken (see the picture above). However, I just duck-taped it and using it because my hair is very happy. Overall, I absolutely love EverPure Volume shampoo and conditioner. My hair now can breath freely.

Verdict: I starting to become quite fond of this brand. The biggest plus size is I don’t have empty my wallet to get beautiful range of colors. The shades are amazingly pigmented and easy to use. This product for the subtle look. Trust me, this does not mean that I am going to stop buying palettes from Urban Decay or Anastasia Beverly Hills, or Too Faces. However, for the price you can get amazing looks from this brand.

Verdict: If you are thinking Déjà vu, then you are not wrong. I have written review about this palette before. However, I loved it so much, that I decided to get another of this as a gift this time. This is a beautiful to palette to own, and for just $14 it’s worth every single penny. This a beautiful palette to have for the holiday. The only two colors that aren’t super pigmented are both of the white shades, but they’re both still really pretty on the brow bones.

Verdict: This duo blush is quite pigmented and buildable. I absolutely love the color. You can make it as simple or bright as you’d like. I like it and the colors are very nice. Just remember to just a light hand because the dark shade is very pigmented. Again, for less then $6, who would not love this blush?

Verdict: some nights I’m way too tired to do an oil cleansing before a regular cleansing and these wipes come in handy for days like those. There is no harsh scent or perfume that’ll linger and give me a headache like other cleansing wipes I have tried. I wish I could only by these without paying shipping fee.

Urban Luxe – 99 Color Eyeshadow Palette from BH Cosmetics
Hi There! Hope you are having a nice Wednesday morning. Happy Winter solstice everyone! The Winter solstice, also known as midwinter, is an astronomical phenomenon marking the day with the shortest period of daylight and the longest night of the year. In the Northern Hemisphere this is the December solstice and in the Southern Hemisphere this is the June solstice.Here in the Washington D.C. metro area the weather is pretty nice today with lower in the teens and highs in the mid 40s. With the shortest period of daylight, I thought I would spend the day giving my review of the Urban Luxe 99 Color Eyeshadow Palette from BH Cosmetics. It’s for sale or only $10 at BH cosmetics.
Description: The palette contains a must-have mix of deep smokey shades, lighter neutrals and intense jewel tones. The 99 mattes, satins and shimmers include defining black, gray and charcoal; burnished brown, bronze and beige; majestic purples, eggplant and inky blues; plus a variety of pales, pastels and pops of color to brighten things up. The collection of richly pigmented, blendable shadows allows you to mix, match and move from day to date night with ease.
Verdict: This is one of the perfect neutral shaded for me. Can’t wait to see what looks I can create with this pallet. However, as you can see from the above pictures, some of the lighter shades does not show up in my skin tone at all. Hence, if you are looking for a palette to give you dramatic look this palette is not for you. This palette is perfect for subtle, neutral shades. Overall, I will give it a four star just for some of those very light almost invisible shades. Please note, I have used a shadow primer. A primer can make a big difference on how a shadow comes out. In conclusion, for $10 this is a good, neutral eyeshadow palette you can get. Below is video of some of the looks created by the palette.

Verdict: As soon as I received the package I could smell the very subtle peach smell, which is not too strong and overpowering at all. It’s fun and smells super fruity. I have over so many eyeshadow palettes now and do think this is something unique to add to a collection. However, one thing I am not so thrilled about is the fact that the lighter shades are not that pigmented in my medium/tan skin tone. However, I love the medium to darker shades a lot. Overall, though I will not give it a five star but I do like this palette enough to give it a four star.
Sweet Peach Glow Peach-Infused Highlighting Palette ($42): This peach-infused, highlighting palette comes in three shades for a lit-from-within, luminous glow. This illuminating, blushing and bronzing palette gives the natural radiance of a glowing peach sunset. Give your skin the appearance of being bathed in the most beautiful peachy golden light. The palette is Parabens, Sulfates, Phthalates free.
How to Use: The shades can be used separately or blended together. Use a powder brush to apply all over for a soft glow. Apply to the cheekbones, brow bones, and the bridge of nose for a highlight effect.
Verdict: I love the subtle peach smell of the palette. The colors are really nice. They aren’t super pigmented but it doesn’t take too much to build up. I am very happy with it. I am not a big fan of strong highlighter palette. To me, it just looks too fake. That is why, this palette is just perfect for me. I can get the perfect natural glow I want to achieve.

Winter Skincare
Hi There! I wanted to re-share this article from the past year. This past week reminded us in the east coast of the how cold this winter might be. If the winter is anything like last year, then we are in for a brutal cold season. In the cold winter season, our skin becomes dry, dull, flaky, and sometimes even more reactive. Who wants to look like this especially during the holiday season?
I for one fall, am in huge predicament each winter. My skin is so sensitive to the cold that my face becomes red and flaky and sometimes, I get hives from the cold. When I come home to warm indoor my skin becomes dry from the heating systems. If you go through the same experience as I do each winter there is a solution for your predicament.
We don’t need to hide ourselves during the harsh winter season. We too can winterize our skin and embrace the warmth of the holiday season with open arms. First of all, just remember not all skin types are the same. Hence, the best option of course would be to go to an esthetician or dermatologist who can analyze your skin type, troubleshoot your current skincare regiment and advice on the best product for you. However, since I already knew my skin type, I went to my local Body Shop, and talk to a store person there and ask them what to do. Since my skin is extra sensitive, they recommended their Aloe Vera moisturizer along with their Vitamin C regimen. I have to say, I did see a difference in my skin.
For the winter, the key to winterizing your skin is moisturizing and hydration. Make sure that you choose an oil-based moisturizer, not a water-based one. Just as an example, lotions labeled as “Night Creams” are oil-based. I use natural organic essential oils on my skin, but I am very careful as to how much I use on my skin since my skin can breakout quite easily. According to WebMD, olive oil, avocado oil, mineral oil, primrose oil, or almond oil will not clog your pores. You can apply small amount to your skin. I always wipe away extra with a soft wet cloth. According to New York Dermatologist, Dr. Doris Day, a little bit of almond and coconut oils massaged gently around the eyes can help hydrate wrinkly skin under the eyes, but take care not to get it in your eyes, she said.
Every other night, I wash my face with a homemade scrub of with mixture of organic raw honey, organic extra virgin olive oil, and sugar. The honey is anti-inflammatory and a great moisturizer as well, and the scrub leaves my face soft and smooth. It is also great for acne treatment, eye de-puffing and exfoliating scrubs. It’s excellent for treating eczema as well. On the alternate days, I use mask made with organic raw honey, pure almond oil, avocado oil, and little yogurt. Yogurt is full of lactic acid that has wrinkle banishing properties.
In addition to moisturizing, I use the Body Shop Vitamin C Energizing Face Spritz that always gives me a boost of vitamin C and the Ole Henriksen Truth Serum Vitamin C Collagen Booster and Body Shop Tea Tree Night Lotion. Every morning, I apply the Vitamin C Spritz along with Aloe Soothing Moisturizing Lotion with SPF 15 under my Smashbox Blemish Control Primer and makeup. Those who want higher SPF, Vitamin C Glow Protection Lotion SPF 30 is also a great option.
Using sun screen is another key to winterizing your skin. Just Like your face, you aIso need to protect your hands and feet during the brutal winter months. In order to protect your hands, aways make sure that you wear your gloves when you go out In the cold weather. Additionally, always make sure that your hands are always moisturized. l rely on my eos Refresh Everyday Lotion in Cucumber to keep my hands hydrated. Derma Topix lntense Hand Lotion is another hand lotion that will give your chapped hands the intense moisture the cold and hersh winter months without the greasy feeling. As for your feet, if you never seem to find the time (and/or hate wearing socks overnight to help your foot cream soak in, as dermontologists so often advise), multi-task this with your workouts. Apply Aquafor under your socks before going to gym to deeply moisturize and reduce calluses and blisters too. My grandma always wore socks after applying pretroleum jelly to her feet and she always had baby soft feet until the day she passed away on her 84th birthday.
In addition, always wear sunglasses in protect your eyes from the sun. Wear sunglasses to protect the area around your eyes and your eyes themselves. You can get sunspots and even skin cancer on your eyelid. Furthermore, also make sure that your lips are moisturized as well. As I have mentioned in a previous post, eos Smooth Lip Balm Sphere in Mint is my favorite. Smooth on the refreshing essence of sweet mint lip balm and give your lips the moisture they crave. In conclusion, just because it’s winter it does not mean that your skin does not need protection from harmful UV ray. Follow these steps and you and your skin are ready to face the harsh winter. However, Let me make the day a little better for you by talking about a special holiday beauty product from Too Faced that I have really liked and now want to share with you.

Have a very Merry Kissmas with four clutch-size tubes of our bestselling Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick in original, chocolate and matte formulas. Melted Lipstick comfortably coats lips in bursts of intense color that lasts for hours. The collections includes deluxe sizes of our 2 bestselling Melted shades: Chihuahua and Fig PLUS a Melted Chocolate shade: Honey AND a mini Melted Matte: Lady Balls. Melted Chocolate is infused with antioxidant-rich cocoa powder and a decadent chocolate scent. Each of the lipsticks are $21 at Sephora and c an be found for $21. have an issue with staying power or with it looking gross when it wears off. On me it gradually fades. However, I don’t know if that is the case when using the more bold shades. Melted Chihuahua is my go to everyday shade. I will be purchasing more shades on my next Sephora trip. I love this lipstick a lot. That says a lot for me considering I tire easily of any single lipstick shade or formula.

Verdict: I really enjoy ties lipstick collection. The color choices are great You get a chocolate nude lipstick, a nude pinkish tone color, a light people color, and bright red no mate red lipstick. The lasting power is not amazing, but I don’t expect longevity with glossy products. The biggest con for me is how messy the applicator gets, which is not what I want to see on an over twenty dollars lipstick. I was a bit worried at how the colors would look on my skin tone, but they all work really well!
Overall, this will a wonderful glam bag to have, give to someone, or even add it as a Christmas stocking stuffer.

Ipsy December Glam Bag Review
There Hi! Happy Saturday everyone! Hope you all are having a wonderful start of your Saturday. We started the day with ice and freezing rain. So, I thought I will take full advantage of the weather, sip on hot chocolate and write my review on the December Ipsy glam bag.
Description: The December Ipsy Glam bag came in a hot pink envelop. When you open the envelop you get this beautiful fuzzy makeup bag that doubles as a wristlet going-out clutch! Inside the wristlet, I got Nyx prasmatic eyeshadow in Fireball PS09, Ciaté London Liquid Velvet Moisturizing Matte Liquid Lipstick in Pin Up, Jersey Shore Cosmetics Peppermint Moisture Rich Hydrating Balm, Tarte Maracuja Oil, and Hikari Liquid Eye Liner.
Nyx prasmatic eyeshadow in Fireball PS09: Give your eyes extra sparkle and dimension with a fully pigmented metallic texture with NYX Cosmetics Prismatic Eye Shadow. The ingredients include Magnesium Stearate, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Nylon-12, Octyldodecanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Phenoxyethanol. May Contain: Mica, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Iron Oxides (CI 77491, 77492, 77499), Carmine (CI 75470), Yellow 5 Lake (CI 19140), and Ferric Ferrocyanide (CI 77510).
Verdict: This shadow is easy to blend, very pigmented and with primer it will last all day. The color in this shadow is amazing, and it is so easy to work with. This is a good collection. I went online to check for the price, and is available for $5.99 at Ulta. The fireball color is current sold out. However, for that price, it is a good shadow to have.
Ciaté London Liquid Velvet Moisturizing Matte Liquid Lipstick in Pin Up: Liquid Velvet Moisturizing Matte Liquid Lipstick combines highly-pigmented, gorgeous matte, long-wearing lip color with hyaluronic acid for its intense lip-conditioning benefits so that lips appear fuller, while feeling more supple and smooth. Verdict: I love the color of the lip creme. It would look good on anyone. It goes on so smoothly and is really well-pigmented. This lipstick is long wearing, non drying and there is no fading in the inner lip area. I have another of this from the Ciate London Chloe Morello Beauty Haul Makeup Set. I am glad that now I have two of this beautiful love liquid lipstick and I will use it.
Jersey Shore Cosmetics Peppermint Moisture Rich Hydrating Balm: Sopranos, Cake Boss, table flipping Housewives… and all natural skincare. Who knew Jersey had so much to offer? New Jersey mom and beauty vet Jacquelyn Foster Quattro created Jersey Shore Cosmetics to offer safe, high-quality natural cosmetics and skincare. Her goal is to help her customers look good and make healthy choices. Champagne wishes and candy cane dreams. We’re toasting the holidays with the delish scent of peppermint and super soft pouts. Now all we need is the mistletoe. With ingredients like organic sunflower oil, organic beeswax, organic cocoa butter, organic coconut oil, organic peppermint eo, and vitamin e this is a good balm to have.
Verdict: I really like the feel of this lip balm and I love that it’s all natural and organic. Your lip stay smooth for 4 to 5 hours. eos is still my favorite but this is a good lip balm. I love the peppermint feeling. The peppermint was nice and mild, very smooth and hydrating. I am glad that Ipsy has introduced me to the Jersey shore hydrating balm.
Tarte Maracuja Oil: This is a treatment oil that targets individual skin concerns and delivers balanced moisture for firmer, brighter, and smoother-looking skin. Verdict: The oil soaks into your skin, it won’t leave your face oily. This oil is helping my skin. I use it after applying my toner, and serum but before using my moisturizer. Sometimes if I am feeling lazy and want to skip a step I just mix it in with my moisturizer and it still does an amazing job. I have tried it for the past few days and I am loving it.
Hikari Liquid Eye Liner: The final product that I have received in my December Ipsy Glam bag is Hikari Liquid Eye Liner in Iris. Verdict: The liner goes on smoothly. However, the shade really isn’t for me. If you like the purple shade then this eyeliner is absolutely for you.

Verdict: The eye shadow compliments my brown eyes so well, and is very blendable, pigmented, and splendidly curated. I had no idea who Chloe Morello is but her palette is quiet divine! The formula is so pigmented and I don’t have a lot of fallout at all when using the palette which I just figured out how much I appreciate! I can see why it is sold out at Sephora. This is a must need palette!! I recommend everyone get this. I love the color of the lip creme. It would look good on anyone. The mascara is so cute great packaging all around. I lean more toward thin mascara wands but I really was surprised to like it so much. Overall, worth the money! Below I added the youtube video on the product published by Ciate London. My Best Friend for the Winter
Hi There! Hope you are having a wonderful day. When left home today I literally got hit by the frigid wind. Here in the Washington DC metro area we got hit with the polar vortex. A polar vortex is a large pocket of very cold air, typically the coldest air in the Northern Hemisphere, which sits over the polar region during the winter season. The frigid air can find its way into the United States when the polar vortex is pushed farther south, occasionally reaching southern Canada and the northern Plains, Midwest and northeastern portions of the United States.
Today, I literally feel poor Ana from Frozen. I don’t know how you poor folks up north handle the cold. I was in Chicago in November and I cannot tell you how cold it was. The windchill was -25 degree Fahrenheit.
How do I handle the cold? My best friend the cold is eos. One of the biggest problem I have during the frigid winter is extreme dry/cracked hands and lips. eos has been my best friend during these cold season.

Verdict: This is one of the best hand lotions I have ever tried. It has a very nice smelling scent but it isn’t too overpowering to where it’s a distractions. It doesn’t leave your hands oily at all, which I absolutely love. I have a skin condition that leaves my skins extra dry and this lotion is absolutely amazing. I absolutely recommend this lotion to everyone.
eos Smooth Lip Balm Sphere in Mint: Smooth on the refreshing essence of sweet mint lip balm and give your lips the moisture they crave. This lip balm is 95% organic, 100% natural, and paraben and petrolatum free. Packed with antioxidant-rich vitamin E, soothing shea butter and jojoba oil, it keeps your lips moist, soft and sensationally smooth.
Verdict: What can I say about eos lip balm. This is so moisturizing. It has a cool tingly sensation, and It has a fun shape/case. I really love how this makes my lips feel and honestly I’m hooked from now on eos is my friend especially during winter time. There are a lot of flavors but I love the mint flavor. I got introduced to this by my sister and I so glad that she did.

Modern Renaissance Eye Shadow Palette from Anastasia Beverly Hills
Hi There! Hope lovely people are all doing well. With a break from my full time tiring job, I wanted to share my time with you. Don’t you love this time of the year? Only sixteen days till Christmas. There is something about the month that makes me feel so jolly inside. You can be of any religious to be part of all these jolliness.
Today, I want to share with you my review of the Modern Renaissance Eye Shadow Palette from Anastasia Beverly Hills available at Sephora for $42.

Verdict: To be honest, I was skeptical about getting such a bold palette but it is worth it. You can get so many versatile looks, from neutral to bold. The shadows are very pigmented and a little goes a long way! They are also very buttery and incredibly easy to blend. My only problem is sometimes it’s too easy to over-blend. I usually blend my shadows a lot, but for these, I need to blend very lightly or else they blend out too much. If you think about it, it is less expensive than a lot of other comparable palettes which is nice. I will share some of the looks courtesy of Anastasia Beverly Hills.

Mac Haul Away
Hi There! I had to take a little break from the blog to catch up on work. However, I did not forget you, my favorite people. As promised, I wanted to share with you some of my Black Friday haul aways. Today, I will review my Mac haul away. What are some of your favorites?
Mac Sculpt SPF 15 Foundation ($34): It is a gel-based foundation that offers medium to full coverage with a natural satin finish. Hydrating, instantly revitalizes the skin while keeping it looking smooth, soft and plush. Long-wearing, water-resistant. This is a good foundation for combination, and dry skin. However, it is not my favorite foundation but it’s a good foundation that does not makes my face clogged.
Mineralize Skinfinish Natural ($33): A slow-baked powder with 77-Mineral Complex that provides a natural, dimensional finish. This is a great foundation that I actually like and I always use it to set foundation and to touch-up makeup throughout the day. It give a natural feel and blends well. It gives my skin a really incredible finish without being cakey or having a strange texture. I would definitely recommend this foundation to everyone.
Extra Dimension Skinfinish Powder ($33): This is a liquid-powder highlighter that gives a luminous, well-defined finish. I got the one in Beaming Blush. To be honest, I like it better than Anastasia Beverly Hills version. I have not stopped using it so far. It blends flawlessly over the skin to add radiance and shimmer. It looks beautiful when the light catches it.
Prep + Prime Colour Correcting SPF 30 Primer ($31): This is an oil-controlling tinted primer, colour corrector and sun protectant. I got the color Recharge because of my horrible dark circles and it does wonders covering it. I use concealers along and the color corrector from Tarte, which is so dark. However, this one can just use it by itself when I am lazy I just use to instantly lighten my dark circle and just and my hyper-pigmentation and just leave home with a light foundation power. I loved this so much I just ordered this online again.
Lipstick ($17): This is the iconic product that made M·A·C famous. I got the one in All Fired Up. I got this because I love the bold color. I use my favorite chapstick and use it on the top and I am good to go.

Sephora Black Friday Haul Away
Hi There! Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday with your loved ones. I had a great time enjoying Thanksgiving turkey feast potluck with my family. The main fun came after the Thanksgiving holiday in form of Black Friday shopping. I had the chance to shop at Macy’s, The Limited, New York and Company, Sephora, and the of course, Mac Cosmetics. Over the next few days, I will publish my review on each of my haul away.
Yves Saint Laurent L’Homme Gift Set: I got this for my dad from the Sephora for $42. He absolutely love this fragrance. The gift set contain the classic L’Homme, Perfum Intense, and La Nuit De L’Homme. Infused with the force of attraction of a man with style and sensuality, the classic fresh, woody fragrance is effervescent with bright, sparkling notes of bergamot, ginger, and vetiver. A fragrance of contrasts it is a unique combination of luxury, art, and modernity that exudes a timeless elegance. Intensify the power of seduction. Perfum Intense, the new masculine addition from Yves Saint Laurent is a provocative blend of woody notes wrapped in a sensual suede accord. The magnetic power of L’Homme is now even more irresistible. I got this a gift for my dad. My dad absolutely love these fragrances. Now, he can carry his favorite collection with him wherever he goes. I love the small of the classic perfum. I also loved La Nuit, as it smelled this is one of my favorite alongside Chanel Blue and Spicebomb. Unfortunately, this set is not available online, but I am so glad that I got it at store.
Sephora Collection – The Mini Kisses: Kiss Me Balm Trio ($12): cute gift set with three different mini Kiss Me Balms. It contains three luscious colors that will make you swoon, including one color specifically created for a magical holiday season. Try them all, or gift them as the perfect stocking stuffers. The gift set contain Kiss Me Balms in Charming, Pink Bubblegum, Cotton Candy.
I got this for my sister. She loves the esos lip balm and I wanted to get a stocking staffer for her. I really like the size, colors, and feel of this lip balm. It will be easy to carry in her purse. Its oily enough to keep her lips soft and smooth. She has used the other versions before. This is no EOS, and can’t replace that quality but you probably have to reapply it every few hours.
Rosebud Perfume Co. Minted Rose Lip Balm ($7): This lip balm was created especially for Sephora, this must-have lip balm calms and heals irritation, and soothes the sting of minor burns. Easy-to-use and versatile, dab it on chapped lips, elbows, or knees to condition and relieve dryness.
This is actually the 7th or 8th one I bought. In winter, my lips gets chapped all the time, and this lip balm is an absolute life saver for me. I gave to my family and they all love it as well. This is hands down the most moisturizing balm I’ve ever tried. I really enjoyed this lip balm. I used it everyday! The only thing I really did not enjoy was the fact that the lid simply would not come off sometimes! It was so annoying. I had to fight and wrestle my way into the lip balm goodness. Anyway, the lip balm went on smoothly and left my lips feeling lovely and soft. Definitely would recommend this product. Hopefully they do something about that pesky lid though!
Dr. Jart+ Water Drop Hydrating Moisturizer ($36): This is a hydration-replenishing formula to provide long-lasting moisture and brighten dull-looking skin. This moisturizer is parabens, sulfates, and phthalates free.
I received this as a sample. It comes out gel-like and melts into your skin as if you’ve applied water and sinks into the skin very quickly without leaving a sticky mess. However, I only used it twice. I will definitely update and let you know if I see any issue with is moisturizer.
Nars Velvet Lip Glide in Playpen (Coral Pink- $26): This is a long-lasting lip color with a smooth, semi-matte finish that provides ultimate hydration. Velvet lip glide is soft, yet strong. Effortless and intense. Polished and provocative. It encourages you not to compromise. Glide on strength. The finish is semi-matte, long-lasting, and non-drying for luscious, vibrant lips. Water lily flowers and white tea extract are infused into this hybrid lip glide for antioxidant protection and ultimate hydration.
I received this as a sample I can’t stop using it. I received the sample in Playpen and the color is absolutely to die for. One thing however that I am not a fan of is that it does not dry completely. It doesn’t stay long like Kat Von D, but it is also does not over dry your lips. I am not sure if I am going to pay the full price for this item.

Verdict: This is a beautiful to palette to own, and for just $14 it’s worth every single penny. This a beautiful palette to have for the holiday. The only two colors that aren’t super pigmented are both of the white shades, but they’re both still really pretty on the brow bones.

Verdict: What can I say about this product. I absolutely love the colors. I have a weakness for red and plum colors and I get both in this kit. The colors are long-lasting and looks great on olive/tan or even darker skin tone. The matte colors can be little drying on the lips can easily be corrected with a little bit of a primer or chapstick underneath. I would highly recommend this kit to everyone. If you prefer a more pink tone then check out the Nutcracker Sweet Pink Lipstick Kit (See picture below).

How to Use: In order to use the cleanser gently massage a quarter-size amount onto a lightly damp face, and massage for 30 to 60 seconds; rinse and pat dry. The cleanser can be used in the morning and in the evening followed by appropriate treatment and moisturizer. In order to use the moisturizer, just apply morning and evening after cleanser and treatment, avoiding the eye area. Massage a generous amount of the mask onto clean, dry skin until the gel turns white, then leave on for 60 seconds and rinse. The mask is gentle enough for daily use.
My Verdict: It’s gentle. I love the smell of this cleanser! Leaves my skin feeling soft. Usually, I have to be very careful about the cleanser because it can leave my skin feeling dry. I did not have any issue with this one. Overall, it works very well for combination skin. As for the moisturizer, it doesn’t look oily under makeup, and hydrates nicely. However without the makeup it can leave your skin a little greasy. I usually use it more during fall and winter when my skin is extra dry from the whether. However, I would not pay for the full price of the moisturizer though. I would especially not recommend this moisturizing to those with oily skin. Finally, the mask is quick, easy and truly deep cleans my face. It also leaves my skin soft and moisturized. You don’t have to use too much of the product a little goes a long way. Overall, my verdict is that this a great gift for someone who does not have oily skin. I like the cleanser and absolutely love the mask. I use the moisturizer during fall and winter when my skin is drier than normal.

Glace is my favorite lipcolor of the three. I absolutely love them. They’re matte but yet, so creamy. In this line, they have shades that suit all skin tones. The formula is amazing. I put it on my very dry lip and now my lips are quite hydrated and I am quite happy. My final verdict, this is a great lip crayon collection to have, and is great for all skin tones. I would highly recommend this lip crayon to everyone.

Stylish Winter Items You Should Get Before They are Gone
Hi There! I know that we love going to a manicurist to get our nails done however, if you follow the following steps you get can get your own perfect at home manicure and pedicure. Today, I will go over the steps you can follow to correctly do your nails.
1. Wash Your Hands:
Ever notice how nail technicians put polish remover on your nails before painting them, even if you didn’t have polish on them in the first place? That is because your nails have natural oils (usually transferred from your finger tips), which can prevent polish from adhering correctly. What is a quick fix for that? Just remember to swipe your nails with polish remover before breaking out your base coat. Then wash your hands with soap and water to get rid of any remaining film or oil.
2. File Your Nail in One Direction:
If you’re treating your nail file like a saw, you’re making your nails more susceptible to peeling and breakage. That is not good. Here’s the right way to even out your shape. “Gently run the file across the nail in one direction, beginning at the outside edge and pulling toward the center,” says celebrity manicurist Deborah Lippmann. If your nails are already on the thinner side, Lippmann recommends holding the file flush to your nail, and tilting it so you file from slightly underneath. “This allows you to see exactly what you’re doing and helps protect against over-filing,” she says.
3. Exfoliate Your Cuticle:
Contrary to popular belief, cuticle oils and cuticle removers are not one and the same—nor can they be used interchangeably. Oils help moisturize, while removers act like an exfoliating treatment for your nail beds. Start by massaging a cuticle treatment like Deborah Lippmann Cuticle Remover ($20, Sephora.com) into your cuticles, and gently push them back with an orange wood stick. “Not only does this help get the cuticle off the nail plate, but it also helps get rid of dead skin cells safely and effectively,” Lippmann says. Apply a cuticle oil after to add hydration.
4. Buff Your Nail:
Buffing your nails is kind of like brushing your teeth—it’s brightening, it makes nails look more youthful, and it gets rid of ridges. Use a standard sponge buffing block—it’s soft, smooth, and not too abrasive. You can also use them on the sides of your fingers when they start to get dry and peel.
5. Apply Base Coat:
I know it’s a given but don’t forget to apply the base coat. Not only does it protect your nails from stains, it also fills ridges and strengthens nails too. A bonus of all that: It’ll lead to a smoother polish application, meaning your manicure is less likely to chip. We love the Caption Polish Base Coat ($12, dermstore.com).
6. Use a Special Base Coat for Glitter:
While we are on the topic of base coat, when you use your glitter and textured nail polish there are now peel-off ones that work wonders for removing tough-to-get-off textures like glitter. They’re particularly game-changing if you want a little sparkle on the weekends, but can’t show up to the office on Monday with your nails looking like a Kesha concert. I particularly like the OPI Nail Polish Glitter of Base Coat (Jet.com for $7.90). I also recommend Sally Hansen Big Peel Off Base Coat ($5.99 Ulta.com).
7. Don’t Apply Too Much Polish:
Too much polish takes forever to dry, and you’ll be left with a bumpy finish. Remember to load enough to polish in brush to cover the nail in one coat. Stripe the nail three times: once down the middle, once on each side, and then repeat until you get your desired opacity. Furthermore, if you are not waiting at least one or two minutes before applying another coat of color or a topcoat, you’re not giving the solvents in your polish enough time to evaporate. The longer you wait between coats, the more it’ll keep your color locked in.
8. Top Coat:
One thing you should not skip on is putting on top coat. If you don’t use a topcoat, your polish won’t last as long. Glamour recommends Nails Inc. 45-Second Top Coat With Kensington Caviar ($15, sephora.com) for its sleek, shiny finish and quick-dry formula. However, don’t be sloppy with your top coat. You may think top coats are clear and hence, invisible. However, topcoats tighten as they dry, which is what can cause those little ridges if you don’t put it on properly. Another downside: Those areas will also end up chipping faster. Furthermore, nicks and chips tend to happen most at the tip of the nail, and yet, many women neglect to give that part a little extra topcoat love. Take a topcoat like Morgan Taylor Make It Last ($8.50, loxabeauty.com) and run a horizontal swipe of it over the bottom edge of your nail after you do your last coat. Let it dry, and repeat one more time.
9. Clean Your Cuticle:
Want to give your manicure a salon finish? When you finish applying your topcoat, dip a thin cleanup brush in nail polish remover and lightly skim around the outer edge of the nail to remove any excess lacquer. This will help make the paint job look sharper and your manicure last longer. If you don’t own a striper brush, you can use a pointed cotton swab. I use nail polish remover on a pointed Q-tip to clean up my edges and make sure there’s never a speck of polish on my cuticles. Don’t dip your hand in cold water or blow on them to dry your polish faster. Dipping your nail in cold water only changes the consistency of the polish, and blowing on them does nothing to speed up the process. You also risk tiny drops of saliva getting on your nail, which can create bubbles in the polish. What can you do to dry or polish? I recommend using a quick-dry spray because it’s designed to make polish oxidize from the inside out. If the smudge is light enough that you can’t see the nail through the polish, just slick one coat of this stuff over your whole nail, and let it dry for 30 seconds. Then reapply your topcoat. Your polish will look good as new.
10. Moisturize Between Polish Changes:
A major part of manicure maintenance is keeping your nails and cuticles hydrated, especially when you are using your hands often (i.e. washing dishes, doing laundry, constantly typing, etc.). Apply cuticle oil to your nails and cuticles every other day. This will restore moisture and also help prevent chipping and splitting.

Sinful Cinnamon is my perfect everyday go-to shade. I wear it with anything and it looks gorgeous. The only thing I don’t like is that they’re a bit drying once you’ve had them on for a while but that’s not unexpected from matte collection. My final verdict, I will give this collection 4 stars. The collection has beautiful colors. In order to counteract the drying effect I use a lip primer that moisturize my lips. I often use a very thin layer of Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask that completely counteracts any drying affects and is my go to lip moisturizer. It’s available at Sephora for $26. You can also use your favorite lip primer or thin layer of chapstick as a base.

CLINIQUE Pop and Matte Lip Colour + Primer Collection
Hi There! If you love lip colors as much as I do, you will love this post. I want to share with few of my favorite Clinique Lip Colour + Primer Collection. I have both their pop and matte lip color. As I have mentioned in my earlier post I am not a big fan of matte lip colors but if the right color is available I am willing to take a chance and Clinique and successfully met my challenge.

Verdict: Passion pop is more of the darker red than I like but still is a good collection of have. It’s amazing and creamy. The application is lovely and it stays on for hours without drying or losing color. I love the pigmentation of the color. My favorite color by far has to be Bold Pop. I love the bold cherry color. In my olive skin tone I have to be careful about the nude lip colors I choose, but Plum Pop goes well with my skin tone.As I mentioned I am not a big fan of matte lip color but I was pleasantly surprised how moisturizing the matte colors are. The color range is great. Its moisturizing while still matte. If you are looking for bold colors you are more likely to get them in the matte version. My final verdict, if you’re looking for a lot of depth to your lip shades, you’re unlikely to find much here. However, if you want bold colors you the Pop Matte Lip Color + Primer will give you that. For $18.50 these lip colors are great choice to have but I would rather go with matte version for a change.

Verdict: These lipsticks are very moisturizing and long wearing. I already have the full size of Slow Burn which I have officially deemed as my perfect nude. I like Oh Miley because of classic reds. Miss Scarlet is a deep vampy red, really nice for a bold lip. Scandal is a bit darker than I wanted but still a nice purple color. The case is cute, and the inner liner can be pulled out so you can use the clutch for something else. Really happy with this purchase. It is perfect for my make up bag and the colors are spot on for the fall/winter season. I am not a big fan of matte lipsticks. These lipsticks are quite buttery. long lasting, and hydrating – the best alternative there is to matte. I also have last year’s Marc Jacobs lipstick set in the black patent leather bag. I will continue to buy his mini lipstick sets as long as he continues to make them. My final verdict, this is a great gift for Christmas or just to indulge yourself.

I know it’s only October but it’s not too late to think about Christmas gifts, especially stocking stuffers. I for one love start thinking about Christmas gifts early. As for the new Absolu fragrance, it is something more suited for fall. I love woodsy scents that have a lingering affect. My final verdict, this is a great gift for Christmas stuffer, birthday, for just to pamper a woman. For $20, this is a must buy.

Hi There! I subscribe to a lot of the fashion and beauty magazine and they all advertise this particular product call, Micellar water. So, I ask myself what is the heck is this micellar water and how will it benefit me? May of you might be asking as same think. Hence, to find out I did some research and this is what I came up with.
What is Micellar Water?
Micellar water takes its name from micelles, tiny round balls of cleansing molecules that float in the water. According to board-certified dermatologist Hadley King of Skinney Medspa, “micelles are attracted to dirt and oil, so they are able to draw out impurities without drying out the skin,” rather than containing a foamy solution that strips your skin and leaves behind harsh chemicals. As a result, micellar water can be used as a facial wash, makeup remover and moisturizer all in one that leaves behind a glowy, hydrated finish.
History of Micellar Water?
According to the Elle Magazine, micellar water has been around for hundreds of years, first gaining momentum in France, where it was designed to help Parisians deal with the region’s infamously harsh water supply.
How is it different from regular cleanser?
Micellar water is different from your traditional cleanser in that does not need to applied and than removed. All you need is to simply pour a little product on a cotton pad, then wipe your skin clean — and it feels delightfully refreshing. It another word, it is a dream product for any lazy girl like myself. It is great for people with dry and sensitive skin types because it is so gentle and hydrating.
What will Micellar water not take care of?
According to Huffington post, what micellar water won’t do, however, is remove heavy foundations or stubborn eye makeup like waterproof mascara. So you’ll need to use a separate makeup remover to get fresh-faced. Additionally, if you have oily skin, according to Tabasum Mir, a skincare physician in cosmetic dermatology and cosmetic laser surgery, this product doesn’t clean as well as you’d like. So she suggests those with oily skin, as well as individuals who are acne prone to supplement with a traditional facial cleanser.
What are some the best micellar water out there?

The Beauty Hacks You Need to Know
Lips: If you have dry lips don’t forget to exfoliate your dry lips with a clean disposable mascara wand for a smoother lipstick application. However, first make sure that you just apply some lip balm over your lip first in order to give your lips some slip, so it is much easier to slough away any flaky skin. Second, if you do not want lipstick on your teeth like me you can keep your lipstick off your teeth by sticking your clean pointer finger in your mouth, wrapping your lips around it, and then pulling your finger out. Any lipstick that would have gotten on your teeth will be left on your finger. Third, in order for you to make your lipstick last longer just apply your favorite lipstick and just hold a tissue over your mouth. After that dust a translucent powder over it. A small amount of the powder with transfer onto the tissue this way, locking in your color.
Eyes: In order to make your eye shadow color to pop, first add a nude shadow base. This way the light reflect of the base shadow revealing the true color of the top eye shadow you are wearing. You want an easy way to apply eye liner? Use a lash curler to apply your eyeliner. Simply line the curler with eyeliner, curl your lashes and you’re done! It is that simple.
Face: In order to apply a concealer effectively, if you apply your foundation first, then you’ll find that you don’t need to use as much concealer. However, if you apply concealer first, you’ll remove most of it while applying your foundation. When concealing pimple, I find it more effective to apply a green concealer first and then applying a concealer of my own skin tone. In order to get a boost of hydration and glow in my skin, I spray my skin with Vitamin C Spritz (See Body Works Vitamin C Energizing Face Spritz for $19). This only give my skin a nice glow but a keeps it hydrated as well. You can also apply rose water (Amazon for $9.99). In addition I apply Tatcha Supply Rich Silk Cream (Sephora for $150) which makes the foundation go in easily and my face do not dry out easily. You can get the travel size for $3o at Tatcha website. As for contouring I use my makeup brush handle as my guide to find my cheekbone when contouring. Makeup looks more natural this way. Trace a number 3 along the perimeter of the face, starting with the center of the forehead then tracing along your hair line. You then move down the middle of the ear follow by the hollows of your cheek, sweep back towards the ear and continue down alone the jawline. Wala! You just traced a number three. Just repeat until you get your desired look and buff the brush after to trace along to until blended. You now trace number 11 along the sides of your nose your give definition to your nose. In order to create perfect highlight just trace number 3 around the eye in one continuous sweep. Just start at the middle of the forehead just above the eyebrow and sweep all the way around the temple to the top of the cheekbone. Then just repeat with the brush to blend. Don’t forget to add hightlight tracing number 1 on the bridge of your nose and little bit on your chin as well. You are now all set.
Hair: If you want to prevent split end and breakage from your hair make sure your hair is well conditioned and lubricated. Leave-in condition will not weigh your hair down and keep your lubricated at the same time. When heat to style your hair make sure that it is well protected. Make sure you use a heat protection product to protect your hair. Check out Allure magazine’s Top 10 heat protection products under $20. If you are like me and do not want to blow dry then try out Bumble and bumble Don’t Blow It (Sephora for $14) . This is an amazing product that gives me the perfect texture and definition that need for my air-dried hair. An for the days you want to go with the shampoo try the Klorane Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk (Sephora for $20). This is the best dry shampoo I have ever use so far. It makes my hair feels light and fresh. My friends could not tell that I did not wash my hair. I am happy.

My Lip Color Obsession
Today, I will share with you my favorite lipstick obsession. According to Vogue, the 7 matte lip colors obsessing over this season include NARs audacious Lipstick in Rita. This is of the favorite lipstick I own. I also love the one in Jeanne. I am so glad that the Sephora representative recommended this color for this. I received so many complement on this color. I also love NARs lipstick in Fast Ride. Vogue also recommends Clinique Long Last Soft Matte Lipstick in Mandarin that can be found in Sephora, and MAC Cosmetics Matte Lipstick in Heroine. I love the MAC lipstick color. My other favorite MAC lipstick includes Viva Glam lipstick in Viva Glam VI and Matte lipstick in Living Legend. I also love MAC Cosmetics Patentpolish Lipstick in Sultana, which is a beautiful matte color. I own similar colors from Bite, including Bite Beauty Luminous Crème Lipstick in Cassis. One thing I love about Bite lipsticks is that they are so soft. One thing I also found really lovely this reason is the Bite Beauty Mix n’ Mingle Lip Minis in Lipstick Duo of Violet/Palomino and Duo of Poppy/Scarlet. One of my favorite Bite Beauty is Bite Beauty Best Bite Remix. It’s a gift box has four small size beautiful color lip pencil in pomegranate, sable, rhubarb, and winterberry.
The other names in the Vogue list include, Maybelline Color Sensational Creamy Matte Lip Color in Faint for Fuchsia, Revlon Color Burst Matte Balm in Sultry, Tom Ford Beauty Lip Color Matte in First Time, Surratt Automatique Lip Crayon in Blood Orange. My lip color obsessions include, Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick Lolita and Bachelorette. I also have in my collection Kat Von D Studded Kissed Lipstick in in Homegirl. This is a dark matte lip color for one those days I am into dark colors. These two are long lasting matte lip color that I love and definitely can be added in this season’s color selections. Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick 08 is another beautiful color that is not great for this season does not break one’s wallet. My other lip obsession includes Marc Jacobs Lust for Lacquer Lip Vinyl Sheer in Kissability, Sephora Collection in 24 Cocoa Passion, Smashbox Be Legendary Lipstick in Primrose, and Buxom Full on Lip Polish in Jasmine.

Today I want to bring to you some simple at home things you can do to make your skin healthier and treat every day skin problems. I came across this article at Women’s Magazine and I will share this with you today. “Many of these over the counter treatments contain harsh chemicals that could be doing you and your skin more harm than good,” says New York-based dermatologist David Bank, M.D. “Studies have shown that you can take care of your skin with natural ingredients found at home.” Solve all of your skincare needs with these DIY fixes. - For oily skin we have Banana and Honey mask. Excess oil in our face can lead to blemishes and pimples. Bananas are among the most widely consumed fruits on the planet and, according to the US. Department of Agriculture, Americans’ favorite fresh fruit. It is high in potassium, magnesium, vitamin C, and B6. It is also high in anti-oxidants, which can protect us from free radicals that are roaming around every day. Moreover, according to Dr. Banks, “Banana contains zinc and vitamin C, which help fight and treat acne and control your skin’s natural oils.” The mask serves as the perfect acne prevention. Hence, in order to make this mask, mash one fully ripe banana, two tablespoons honey, and a few drops lemon juice together in a bowl. Apply to the face, and leave on for 15 to 20 minutes. Remove with a warm washcloth, and pat dry.
Pumpkin Cream and Raw Honey Mask: “This mask is an amazing way to gently exfoliate your skin,” says Kimberly Smith, an aesthetician at Rejuvena Health and Aesthetics in Scottsdale, Arizona. The honey is anti-inflammatory and a great moisturizer as well. Because raw honey has anti-inflammatory benefits, it calms inflamed blemishes. In order to make this mask, mix one tablespoon organic canned pumpkin (not to be confused with pumpkin pie filling), a half-teaspoon organic full-fat cream or buttermilk, and one teaspoon raw honey. I use organic raw honey. Let the mixture sit for 15 minutes, and then rinse with warm water.
The next mask is Aspirin Face Mask. I myself have used this mask for blemished. According to Dr. Banks, this mask is great for treating specially meant for treating pimples or for soothing irritation caused by them. In order to make this mask crush one to three aspirin pills (or more if you need more coverage; I use uncoated aspirin) in a small dish, and mix in just enough water to turn the powder into a paste. Add a few drops of warmed honey (again I use raw organic honey). Apply the mixture to your face, and let it sit until it dries (about 10 minutes), then wash of
Revitalizing Plum Mask: According to Smith, this mask is not only great mask for acne prone skin but also great for revitalizing all type of skin. On top of being a great source of vitamins A, C, E, K and B complex, it is also rich is beta carotene, iron, potassium, and magnesium as per Smith. When applied topically, plums “protect our cells from inflammation caused by free radicals and decrease the loss of elasticity that makes skin sag. People who suffer from acne also benefit because it helps to normalize oil production and revitalize dull, uneven-looking skin” says Smith. Hence, in order to make this make, puree three to four ripe plums, and mix with a half-teaspoon turmeric, one tablespoon raw honey, and one tablespoon organic Greek yogurt. Massage onto the skin, and leave on for 10 to 15 minutes. Rinse with warm
Aloe Vera and Avocado Face Mask: According to Banks, avocadoes are filled with fatty acids and vitamins, which hydrates skin’s cells, locks its moisture, and heal dry and flaky skin, while aloe vera is known for its soothing and anti-inflammatory properties. Hence in order to make this mask, mash half an avocado in a bowl. Mix in two tablespoons aloe vera gel, one tablespoon dry oatmeal, and one tablespoon warmed honey. Apply the mixture to clean, dry skin, and let sit for 15 minutes. Rinse with warm water and a warm washcloth.
Honey Spiked Lotion: This is a simple process, just a little raw organic honey to moisturizer. According to Smith “It will make it hydrate better because honey is a natural humectant.” Humectants are key ingredients in many creams and cleansers because they hold onto moisture. Just make that you do not add too much honey because it can make the moisture too sticky. Hence, just mix couple of drop of raw organic honey to your regular moisturizer before applying.
Cucumber and Oatmeal Face Mask: According to Dr. Banks, these two ingredients can significantly reduce inflammation in your face. Hence, in order to make this mask, just mix together one cup oatmeal with a finely chopped cucumber. Apply the mixture to you face for 20 minutes, and then rinse with a warm washcloth.

My Holiday Makeup Secret
With just two days left for the holidays, I know the ladies you have worked hard to get ready preparing for the holidays and the party. Now it’s time to take care of yourselves, the dress, the makeups. Today, this blog is dedicated just for you because you deserve it. I am by no means experts in beauty or make-ups. I will bring today what I have come across through process of elimination through my own personal experience. Since, I have started using my new make-up regiment since last August, I have been getting non-stop complements on my make-ups because I keep my make-up simple, and today I want to share that step by step secret with you. Again, I am not promoting any particular product. I am just reporting what has worked for me. Perhaps something else will work for you. If you have a great alternative please share in your comments and we would love to hear it. I will also share some great holiday fashion that came across in Vogue magazine. Happy reading.
The first step before any make-up regiment, I always wash my face with my usual regiments and use my Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Toner. I then use my usual moisturizing regiment.
For the fist step of make-up, I use the Sephora Photo Finish More Than Primer – Blemish Control. It can be layered under foundation without the worry of breakouts. It’s parabens, sulphate, and phthalates free. I follow the primer with a very light layer of Body Shop Tea Tree BB Cream. After my trip to the very windy and cold city of Chicago my face broke out in enormous blisters and acne with resulted in bad scars as a result I have to take extra precaution on myvery sensitive skin when comes to skincare. You probably don’t have to use this. However, I love this product it because it give my skin extra layer of protection and during weekends when I don’t feel like wearing foundation, I just wear this and I am good to go.
I next wear the NARS Radiant Cream Concealer underneath my eyes to cover my dark circles. Ladies, here I have to share a secret with you. In order to get rid of the crease with the concealer underneath your eyes, the trick is to mix the concealer with your eye cream. It works for me all the time. I put dabs of eyes creams and dabs of the concealer under by eyes and mix and walla perfect under eyes. I then hide rest of my blemishes and scars with NARS concealer. The best thing about both of these concealers is that they come in make shades so there is a shade for every skin tones.
Once I cover all the flaws, I use Sephora MicroSmooth Baked Foundation Face Powder . I like this powder make-up because they are faster to use and less time consuming. More0ver, this is parabens free baked foundation which I prefer for my skin. However, when I am taking my time and what to use liquid make-up I use Sephora 10 HR Wear Perfection Foundation. This is a parabens free, oil free foundation which comes in my exact skin tone and provides great coverage.
Once foundation is done is now, time to contour and highlight the face. This is where we get to bring out the best features of our face. I use products here. I came up with these products after few experimentation and recommendations from family and friends. I first use the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit to contour and highlight my face. What I like about buying directly from the Beverly Hills Anastasia site is that I was able to custom make my own contour kit based on my own skin tone. After contouring, I use the Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blush. The best thing about this blush is that is that it’s a baked nude blush that has buildable coverage. I use one last highlighter on my face that I absolutely love is the Benefit High Beam highlighter. I tap a little around my eyes and cheekbones and the result is fabulous giving me a luminous but never frosty or greasy look, it enhances coverage by bouncing light off the face. I use it high on cheeks after blush, I use it in in dark area by eyes, high part of nose and I use a tiny dot on bottom and top middle of lip for added fullness effect. A little goes a long way. I heard some people mixing it with their liquid foundation and got even better result.
Once done with my face I then handle my eyes. To be honest, I don’t have the best eye brows hence I have to take extra care of it. However, one thing that I do have it that I do have a good shape, according eye brow person I used to go to, and I try to take advantage of that. I don’t draw my eyebrow with pencil because that lead to more eye brows falling. I use the Make Up Forever Aqua Brow cream to draw my eyebrow along my natural eyebrow shape to enhance my eyebrow. I will share another trick with you here. I use mascara wand to brush my brows before and after applying the cream. It makes my brows looks naturally full and when I apply the cream it looks more natural. You can by the wand at your local beauty supply store or at Amazon. Also, I never buy the black color. Always get the same color as the color of natural hair color. Since, my hair is dark brown that’s the color I get. Since I started doing that and filling my eyebrows, everyone I met told that I have the most beautiful I brows, which is a great complement for me. I add Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Waterproofing Gel on top of the brow cream even though the cream is waterproof for extra protection.
Then depending on the occasion I wear my eye make-up and lipstick. Just remember to use light eye shadow underneath the arches of the brows to define the brows. However, I always end my make-up the same way. I always set my make up by using the Make For Ever HD Pressed Powder. It’s a clear powder that softens the appearance of fine lines and pores. I then finish the look by using Urban Decay All Nighter Long Lasting Make Up Setting Spray. It keeps makeup looking just-applied for up to 16 hours. I cover my eyes with my hand and just am completely dependent on this product.

Is Your Skin Ready for Winter?
The past couple of days have been very cold reminding us winter is upon us. While we are getting to the cold, is our skin ready for the bitter cold of the winter season. If the winter is anything like last year, then we are in for a brutal cold season. In the cold winter season, our skin becomes dry, dull, flaky, and sometimes even more reactive. Who wants to look like this especially during the holiday season?
I for one fall, in huge predicament each winter. My skin is so sensitive to the cold that my face becomes red and flaky and sometimes, I get hives from the cold. When I come home to warm indoor my skin becomes dry from the heating systems. If you go through the same experience as I do each winter there is a solution for your predicament.
We don’t need to hide ourselves during the harsh winter season. We too can winterize our skin and embrace the warmth of the holiday season with open arms. First of all, just remember not all skin types are the same. Hence, the best option of course would be to go to an esthetician or dermatologist who can analyze your skin type, troubleshoot your current skincare regiment and advice on the best product for you. However, since I already knew my skin type, I went to my local Body Shop, and talk to a store person there and ask them what to do. Since my skin is extra sensitive, they recommended their Aloe Vera moisturizer along with their Vitamin C regimen. I have to say, I did see a difference in my skin.
For the winter, the key to winterizing your skin is moisturizing. Make sure that you choose an oil-based moisturizer, not a water-based one. Just as an example, lotions labeled as “Night Creams” are oil-based. I use natural organic essential oils on my skin, but I am very careful as to how much I use on my skin since my skin can breakout quite easily. According to WebMD, olive oil, avocado oil, mineral oil, primrose oil, or almond oil will not clog your pores. You can apply small amount to your skin. I always wipe away extra with a soft wet cloth. According to New York Dermatologist, Dr. Doris Day, a little bit of almond and coconut oils massaged gently around the eyes can help hydrate wrinkly skin under the eyes, but take care not to get it in your eyes, she said.
Every other night, I wash my face with a homemade scrub of with mixture of organic raw honey, organic extra virgin olive oil, and sugar. The honey is anti-inflammatory and a great moisturizer as well, and the scrub leaves my face soft and smooth. It is also great for acne treatment, eye de-puffing and exfoliating scrubs. It’s excellent for treating eczema as well. On the alternate days, I use mask made with organic raw honey, pure almond oil, avocado oil, and little yogurt. Yogurt is full of lactic acid that has wrinkle banishing properties.
In addition to moisturizing, I use the Body Shop Vitamin C Energizing Face Spritz that always gives me a boost of vitamin C and the Ole Henriksen Truth Serum Vitamin C Collagen Booster and Body Shop Tea Tree Blemish Free Nigh Lotion. Every morning, I apply the Vitamin C Spritz along with Aloe Soothing Moisturizing Lotion with SPF 15 under my Smashbox Blemish Control Primer and makeup. Those who want higher SPF, Murad Essential-C Day Moisture SPF 30 is also a great option. Using sun screen is another key to winterizing your skin. Just because it’s winter it does not mean that your skin does not need protection from harmful UV ray. Follow these steps and you and your skin are ready to face the harsh winter. Nevertheless, not all skin types are the same, talk to you esthetician or dermatologist, or product store specialist.
