January 6th : A Very Sad Day in US History


Hi there beautiful lovely! Hope you guys are doing well and staying safe. Today I will write about a very sad day in US History, January 6, 2021.

January 6th 2021

The Election Certification:

Wednesday, was indeed a very sad day in US history. As President FDR said after the Pearl Harbor Attack, January 6 is a day that will live in infamy as the very first time after the War of 1812, where there was a breach in the people’s house, the US Capitol. January 6th was supposed to be symbolic day when the congress symbolically certify the electoral college from the November 2020 presidential election. However, many members of the congress made a mockery of that symbolic occasion to put their future political ambition first to disenfranchise the will of the people. This was not the first time that objection to the election certification happened, but never had it happen in collusion collusion with the losing presidential candidate to disenfranchise the will of the people for several states.

We have witnessed the unraveling of this president. Repeatedly, this president participated and/or insighted assault on democracy. He used the military to attack peaceful protestor for a political photo-op holding a bible upside down. Nonetheless, his party, the party who call themselves the party of Lincoln enabled his hundreds of lies and conspiracy theories. What they did on January 6, 2021 was a new low, unconscionable. Over 150 senators and representatives who joined the president to put an assault to the democracy. They hypocritically, opposed the result of the 2020 presidential election for states where the president failed to win but not the down-ballot candidates who won their state elections.

The Breach of the Capitol:

Wednesday, after the rally, a mob of right wing extremist breached the United States Capitol in an act of domestic terrorism. What I saw yesterday will forever stain this nation.

My dear friends! On Wednesday, a mob of domestic terrorists breached the Capitol and destroyed and defiled the people’s house, leading to five deaths.

No Voter Fraud:

I am telling you today again and again that there is no voter fraud. I am not giving you my opinion. I am just giving you the facts. After the 2016 election, this administration started a voter fraud commission which was later dismantled because of there was no evidence of voter fraud. Even after this election his own justice department did not find any evidence of voter fraud.

Double Standard:

My dear lovelies, I just want to take you back just 6 months earlier to the summer of 2020. Yes, I am talking about the Black Lives Matter protests all over the nation. Majority of the protestors were peaceful. Yet, we saw National Guards locked stepped in guarding the Lincoln Memorial.

My friend, the insurrectionusts breached the Capitol planned for months in social media. Hence my only question is why have we not seen the same seen in front of the Capitol? Why were the mob allowed to desecrate the house of the people? We did not even see any arrests?

Conclusion:

My dear friends, in the word of Maya Angelou, “When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time”. Yesterday, the past five years of demogrogary insighted lead to the insurrection of our democratic process and the Capitol. Let us all condemn this heinous act and those responsible should be held accountable.

If we’ve seen anything from this week’s horrific incident is that your words matter. Every word matters. It can lead people to peace treaties or can lead people to war. Our words can make a difference between life and death and it does. If you don’t believe it ask the family of US Capitol police officers who died from injuries suffered in the siege.

That’s why I want to ask you to bear with me, as I slowly recover. Today, I will talk to you about another haul away. This time it’s from Amazon. The most expensive in this haul is $20. I hope you will find it informative and helpful.

However, don’t use it remove unwanted hair from the mustache area. At least for me I broke out on that area. Nonetheless I was really surprised by the dead skin that came out.

I love the company. I have their traditional jewelry cleaner and used it regularly. Hence, when I came across this stik I had to use it. I love it’s portability. You can just put in your purse and use it when needed. A great on-the-go bling cleaner.

I have used 24K eye patches before but this is the first time used it. There is a little bit of a sting when you first put them on, but that quickly subsides. I have a very sensitive skin and breakout if I use any harsh product, but so far so good. I have horrible dark circles and hollowness due to chronic insomnia. I am hoping it make helps with those concern. Don’t get confused about the two dates on the back. The top one is the manufacturing date, and the bottom one is the manufacturing date.

All Natural, Vegan Coconut Lip Scrub – Gentle Exfoliation, Lip Moisturizer & Conditioner, 1.23oz: $9.99

I have yet to use this scrub, but plan on using it today. It’s made with coconut, jojoba, avocado, and sweet almond oils, all of which are great ingredients for hydration and softness. I can’t wait to use this product I have a very dry and chapped medicine. These ingredients have immensely helped my hair during the early stages of alopecia.

This is my favorite from this batch. It smells like rose and really calm my skin down. It’s a great hydrating mist to use anywhere anytime. It leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated. I highly recommend this mist to everyone.

Everlasting Comfort Blanket


Hi there my beautiful lovelies! I hope you are doing well. Today I share with another Amazon find of mine. Before I do anything else, I want to give a full disclosure. I received this item for free to give my honest opinion. It is the Everlasting Comfort Blanket.

I have always had doubts about faux fur due to lint issues. When I received this blanket I had the same concern. However, I was amazed by how soft the blanket was. The beautiful blue town this blanket makes it look rick and luxurious. It feels so soft and luxurious, compared to the price of $29.95. In order to test my lint concern, I left the blanket on my ottoman bench for a whole day to test my concern.

I was surprised to see no lint at the end of the day. I am so glad that there were no lint fallout out because I actually loved this blanket. It is so soft and luxurious. It look more expensive than it is. It feels so comfortable. It fulfills it’s name complete. Every time I am using the blanket, I get an everlasting blanket. I got so many complements on this blanket.

Using Personalized Design for Decor


Hi there my lovelies! Hope you all are doing well and staying safe. As I have shared with you before, I have in the process of redecorating my home without breaking my bank. Let’s face it, I am also in my journey towards financial freedom, which means penny pinching. Hence, I will be relying a lot on Dollar Tree and Dollar Stores. However, the one I am sharing with you now is through Etsy before I went on a financial diet. Today, I wanted to share with another great experience that I had with another small business owner at Etsy. I am talking about CopperFoxCompany.

My beautiful lovelies! I have these wood pieces with bark as coasters. It gives a chic cottage vibe that I like. To be honest, I don’t know what my design style is. With work, life, taking care of family, I really don’t have time to focus on specific design style. All I know is that my family and I like clean lines with neutral colors. I went on to the HGTV website and took a quiz and it showed my design style is modern cottage chic. All that matters to me is that there are clean lines.

That being said, with the additional of the beautiful stove top, I wanted to continue the theme. Hence, I went online to Etsy to find something personalized and had woodwork motive. Kitchen Decor: From Meh to Yeah


Hi there my lovelies home you all are doing well and staying safe. Have you looked at your kitchen and just said meh. I myself has that same problem until I saw this beautiful store in Etsy. I have seen a lot of DYI projects but I am not a crafty person with wood, I paint but am not good with wood.

My Declutter Project


Good Morning my lovelies! Hope you are doing well. Hope you had the chance to visit my new YouTube channel. You didn’t? Well, there’s still time. Do it now. I would love to hear your feedback. Now that part is taken care of today I will take you to a virtual trip with me to declutter. Why is this important you ask? Well, you have know me than one thing you know for sure I am a lazy gurl to do stuff with less effort. Lol…why do I say that about myself? Well that’s true. I like to spend more time in life doing what is important to me, that’s living in the moment. Another thing you should know about me is that I am a shopaholic with generalized anxiety disorder. How does that have to do with declutter? Well, when you are dealing with the above to problem, your life can easily turn to that of a borderline hoarder. That’s exactly what happened to me.

Hence, staying at home has given me the opportunity to do some decluttering. I have a long way to go but at least I have started! The very first place that I have started is the kitchen. Please check out my above video where I showed a glimpse of my decluttering project. First of all storage boxes, shelf organizer, labels, and drawer dividers have been my lifesaver. I have ADD and memory issue (from medicine side effect). Hence, forgetting is a common part of my life. This is where labeling has come in very handy for me.

My mom always tells me, if my head wasn’t attached to my body, I would ave forget it long time ago. This is very true. After organization, I would lose (misplaced may be the more accurate term) very easy, and label made it easier for me to easily locate everything. You see, the clutter started in the first place because I wanted everyone on my sight so that I don’t misplace them and when you know that for everything, things can get out of control easily. That’s why I needed this decluttering project as a cognitive/behavioral therapy.

First of all, keeping like items in boxes can not only make your life easier but can also keep your items organized. mDesign boxes has been my lifesaver when it comes to organizing. My kitchen is full of different types of these boxes.

Next, these airtight food containers are another life saver. Moreover, it comes with the chalkboard label and marker. Beside, they are also stackable, which makes it quite easy to stack them and look organize. Where it’s cookies, flour, cereal, sugar or anything. I have them all in these stackable airtight containers and have them labeled so that they can be identified easily. Now I don’t have to look through items for half an hour everyday. It has made my life so easier.

Next, these airtight food containers are another life saver. Moreover, it comes with the chalkboard label and marker. Beside, they are also stackable, which makes it quite easy to stack them and look organize. Where it’s cookies, flour, cereal, sugar or anything. I have them all in these stackable airtight containers and have them labeled so that they can be identified easily. Now I don’t have to look through items for half an hour everyday. As I have mentioned earlier, chalkboard labels have been my new BFF. Don’t tell the storage boxes that I did it.All my items are now labelled, thanks to these handy little guys. It makes it so much easier to me to locate items.

Shelf organizer has been my another life saver. As you can see the video It has allowed me to organize my spice jars in a way that is easy to get to. I absolutely love new new organized kitchen.

Giantex Metal Loft Bed Frame: A Hit or Miss from Amazon

Hi there my lovelies! Hope you had a wonderful Friday. Today we have set up this space saving bed in the our small room to act as an office space and extra bed. I have posted a detail review on my YouTube channel. Please check out the video and subscribe and like my channel so that I can continue to bring the best content to you. This is my first real post on my channel and I would love your support and feedback.

My review is on the Giantex Metal Loft Bed Frame, Twin Size Bunk Bed with Bilateral Ladders, Guardrails, Desk and Bookcase, Space-Saving Loft Bed with Keyboard Tray from Amazon, with the cost of $329.99. Before, I started the review, I want to make a full disclosure that the review is my own opinion. I have not been paid for my review. I bought this bed myself as my latest project of decluttering my tiny hoarded home. I will try to post my reviews of the item that I found in Amazon to help me with my declutter and organize my home.

Assembly: When it comes to assembly, I would say it’s vague at best. The instruction was not clear, and took us few hours to put it together. When trying to install the keyboard tray, the holes did not align properly and we had to drill a new hole to install the tray. I think we probably have burnt over 1200 calories assembling this loft bed with desk. By the time we were finished, we were drenched and very tired to do anything else. The assembly is a total miss

Material: The only good thing about the material is the metal frame. Everything else is quite flimsy. The shelves need more reinforcement to actually hold books together with the shelves bending and falling. The plywood are mediocre at best. My goal has always been to be a thrifty shopper with winning items. The ladder is painful to climb, and this investment was a waste of $329.99.

Storage: The shelves would have been great for storage if they were not flimsy. One good thing is that I can put items in organized storage boxes and place them under the desk as a space-saving and organizing option. However, the built in storage is a bust. I will get it fixed but will have to spend extra for reinforcement.

Overall: Overall, I will give Giantex Metal Loft Bed Frame, Twin Size Bunk Bed with Bilateral Ladders, Guardrails, Desk and Bookcase, Space-Saving Loft Bed with Keyboard Tray, a one star due to vague assembly instruction and the product is difficult to put together. It does not look like it will survive long. I am really hoping its looks are deceiving. The only positive thing I can think of this bed is that it’s quite space saving. That tiny little room looks clean and organized. Now, I can only hope that after adding shelving reinforcement, it will last a long time. Otherwise, the bed is a complete waste of manpower, our times, energy, and money. Overall, this product is a total miss for me.
