Hi There! Hope you are doing well. It’s finally here. It’s Christmas day. You walk down the stairs and find presents under the Christmas tree left by Santa. We grew up in an apartment in Washington DC, so would walk over to the living room and find gifts under our small plastic Christmas tree. A lot of the time it was just being with family and spending those precious moment with the loved ones. Tis the day to be with your love ones. Hence, I will not take time away from your precious moments this holiday.
Whatever your Christmas tradition is, just don’t carried away with all the gifts. Just remember the biggest gift is just being with your loved ones and enjoy being in the moment. As ThÃch Nhất Hạnh, a Vietnamese Buddhist monk and peace activist, said”Life is available only in the present. That is why we should walk in such a way that every step can bring us to the here and the now.”
