Homemade Remedies For Hair Loss – Androgenic Alopecia

Hi there my beautiful lovelies! Hope you guys are doing well and staying safe. Today I want to talk to you about a subject requested a lot by my YouTube viewers. It is the oil mixture that my mom made after I first got diagnosed with androgenic alopecia. It has really helped me. Check out Homemade Remedies for Hair Loss – Androgenic Alopecia.

At Home Alopecia Remedy

The number one treatment recommended for alopecia is minoxidil or Rogaine. The direction says to use it every day. However, using it made my hair and scalp itchy and sticky. I would lose hair trying to brush my hair. I had to wash my hair every day making my dry scalp even drier and itchier. Hence my mom suggested the oil mixture as an at-home treatment for alopecia. I accepted it quickly.

I received several requests from some amazing people to talk about the mixture. I am attaching the list of the ingredients and Amazon links. Disclaimer – the remedies I suggested in this post my opinion. I am not representing any one. Additionally, I am not a physician. I am just describing my experience and research that I did for myself to treat my alopecia.

Coconut Oil

Coconut oil contains lauric acids that are nourishing and absorbs into the hair very quickly. As a result, it provides moisture to tame frizz and heal breakage. It can also help improve hair and scalp health. This might make hair look like it’s growing faster. One recent lab study found that coconut oil helped to get rid of some types of fungal infections. Coconut oil may help heal or prevent dandruff and other fungi on the scalp. More research is needed to know if coconut oil has the same health benefits on the skin and scalp.

Olive Oil

Olive oil adds softness and strengthens hair by penetrating the hair shaft and preserving moisture. It also smoothes the outer hair cuticle hence increasing hair shininess. Additionally, olive oil is enriched with Vitamin E, fatty acids, minerals, and other essential nutrients that are important to hair growth. It boosts hair growth, prevents hair loss, makes hair cuticles smooth and shiny. Hence, that’s why I have olive oil as a part of my alopecia treatment.

Onion Oil

To be honest I did not know about it until my mom told me about it. Hence, I did some of my own research. Onion oil is rich in sulfur which prevents breakage and split ends and thinning hair. It also ensures shiny and healthy hair. It acts as a natural condition to prevent dryness and control frizz. This is one part my mom told me has to be there for my alopecia treatment. You can also use fresh red onion juice but note with that you can only store the oil mixture for 15 minutes in the refrigerator.

Garlic Oil

Garlic has selenium, which helps boost blood circulation for maximum nourishment. Sulfur is also essential for hair care because the element is known as the foundation of keratin, which helps in hair growth. Additionally, it helps to cleanse hair follicles and strengthen them. It also calms the scalp and treats dandruff. Regularly massaging your scalp with garlic oil can strengthen the roots. Hence, I used it as part of the mixture to use it against alopecia.

Castor Oil

Castor oil is the best oil to enrich the scalp. It contains ricinoleic acid and omega-6-fatty acid, which when massaged onto the scalp help in increasing blood circulation and improve hair growth. Dry or damaged hair can especially benefit from an intense moisturizer like castor oil. Applying fats like castor oil to the hair on a regular basis helps lubricate the hair shaft, increasing flexibility and decreasing the chance of breakage. Castor oil may benefit those who experience dandruff, a common scalp condition characterized by dry, flaky skin on the head. Due to castor oil’s ability to reduce inflammation, it may be an effective treatment for dandruff that is caused by seborrhoeic dermatitis. I use it not only for alopecia but also on my very thin blow.

Jojoba Oil

Jojoba oil moisturizes the scalp and may be another effective dandruff remedy. It’s rich in vitamins A, B, C, and E, and copper and zinc. Such vitamins and minerals help nourish and strengthen hair. It is also thought that jojoba oil can prevent hair loss and promote hair thickness. As a wax ester, jojoba sits on the outer surface to help protect the hair from dryness and breakage.

Avocado Oil

Avocado oil moisturizes, repair and strengthen your hair. A 2015 International Journal of Trichology study found that the mineral in avocado oil can help seal cuticle cells, which can prevent hair from breaking., which can prevent hair from breaking. Besides using my hair mixture I always it in my conditioning mixture as well. When you use cold-pressed virgin avocado oil, it maintains all of the fruit’s vitamins and nutrients other than vitamins B and C, as they are water-soluble and thus lost in the extraction process. But avocado oil is still a great source of vitamins A, D, and E, in addition to potassium and lecithin. Moreover, avocado oil is extremely rich in oleic acid and monounsaturated fats, making it one of few oils that can actually penetrate the hair shaft and moisturize your hair, rather than sitting on top and coating your hair.

Rosemary Oil

Rosemary oil can improve both hair thickness and growth due to its ability to improve cellular generation. It has been shown to perform as well as minoxidil or Rogaine. It works by stimulating scalp circulation and can be used to grow longer hair, prevent baldness, or stimulate new hair growth in balding areas. Rosemary oil also slows the graying of hair, promotes shininess, and prevents and reduces dandruff, making it a great tonic for overall hair health and beauty.

Peppermint Oil

Finally, peppermint oil improves hair growth and prevents hair loss. It is also a vasodilator that increases circulation. This can help promote hair growth in the anagen or growth phase. A study done in mice found that peppermint increased the number of hair follicles, follicle depth, and overall hair growth.

Curry Leaves

You may be familiar with curry leaves as an aromatic culinary herb with a citrusy flavor. Yet they have many other uses, including in hair care. Curry leaves aren’t the same thing as curry powder, which is a blend of several spices. The hypothesis is that the rich nutrients in curry leaves can help prevent thinning hair or hair loss. The leaves may also help remove dead hair follicles, which can interfere with hair growth.

Tea Tree Oil

Tea tree oil can help with various ailments, such as dandruff and hair loss. With all the severe chemicals found in hair products today, you could be stripping your hair follicle of much-needed nutrients. If you use a lot of products or dye your hair often, you can put your hair at risk of breaking off or falling out. Using small amounts of diluted tea tree oil down the shaft of the hair will help prevent buildup of chemicals and dead skin. This keeps your hair healthy and moisturized, which can help it grow at its normal rate and prevent it from falling out. Dandruff is caused by an accumulation of scaly, dry skin on your scalp. If left untreated, the dead skin buildup could ultimately hinder hair growth. A shampoo containing tea tree oil can provide both antifungal and antibacterial benefits. This means it will get rid of what’s causing the dead skin on your scalp.

Amla Hair Oil

Amla oil is a natural oil used for hair health. It is made by drying a fruit called Indian gooseberry (Phyllanthus emblica ) and soaking it in a base oil. The oil is then filtered and purified. Amla oil is said to stimulate hair growth, as well as prevent hair loss and early graying. Based off several small studies, amla appears effective at keeping hair parasites away, improving hair appearance, and increasing hair growth.

Fenugreek Powder

In reducing inflammation of the hair follicle, fenugreek powder can reduce shedding, as inflammation is responsible for certain types of hair loss, Dr. Reid explains. She adds that fenugreek leaves have also been shown to reduce hair loss by increasing hair density and decreasing hair shedding.

Yogi’s Gift Ayurvedic Herbal Hair Oil Mix

Herbal Hair oil is considered to be rich in hair nourishing minerals like amino acids and vitamins also helps in reducing hair fall. It provides a luminous shine to your hair, prevents premature hair greying, strengthens the weak hair and promotes hair growth.

My dear lovelies! Hope you found this post useful. After I heard about the mixture from my mom I did my own research. I suggest that you do the same. I am glad that my mom suggested the mixture to me. I hope you find this helpful. Please let me know about your remedy for hair loss.

CAUSES CLOSE TO MY HEART

PLEASE DONATE DIRECTLY TO THE ORGANIZATIONS THROUGH MY FUNDRAISING LINKS:

I consider myself fortunate to have good health, a full-time job, and a roof over my head. However, there are still so many people who are struggling to put food on their tables. Please join me to help those who are struggling. If you have good health, full-time jobs, and a roof over your head, please join me to help those who are struggling. Whether you donate $5 or $500, you will make a huge difference in someone’s life.

No Kid Hungry:

America’s kids need us. The coronavirus is closing schools nationwide, and millions of vulnerable children are losing the school meals they depend on. For some, it’s the only food they’ll receive on a given day. We have a plan to feed kids, but we need your help today to continue our work to ensure every kid gets three meals a day. You can click above to donate to my gofundme page donation going directly to the organization, or you can click on the direct link to the site.

Food Bank of Maryland:

PLEASE DONATE ANY AMOUNT YOU CAN AND SHARE THE POST WITH EVERYONE YOU KNOW.

Manna Food Center, a nonprofit organization, strives to eliminate hunger in Montgomery County through food distribution, education, and advocacy. Millions of children go to bed hungry in America every year, sadly it’s worse now! Today, 14 million children regularly miss meals — three times more than during the Great Recession and five times more than before the pandemic.

Many parents have lost their job during the pandemic. Sadly, that shows no sign of stopping. Your donation can bring relief to the millions worried about where their next meal will come from. It’s even worse for Latino and Black families, whose rates of nutrition insecurity have spiked to 25% and 30%. In the world’s wealthiest country, this is unconscionable.

Even before the pandemic, the U.S. Department of Agriculture estimated 37 million people in America struggled with hunger and nutrition. The Centers for Disease Control reports 76% of people killed by COVID-19 had at least one underlying condition, most of which were diet-related. Diet-related diseases also fuel skyrocketing health care costs, which rose from 5% to 28% of the federal budget in the past 50 years.

Let’s make the world better, kinder, brighter. Every dollar you give will create real change. $1 will feed 5 hungry children here in the US, but $1,000 will feed 50,000 starving children overseas. Be the good in the lives of many by giving right now.
