Hi there my beautiful lovelies! Hope you guys are doing well and staying safe. Today, I want to take the time to talk about the upcoming amazon prime Day 2022 Date and how you should mindful for your shopping.

Amazon Prime Day 2022 Date

Amazon Prime Day is an annual two-day shopping event for Amazon Prime members. Each year the sale is met with doorbuster deals on some of our favorite products—think huge savings on headphones, robot vacuums, air fryers and so much more. The exclusive 48-hour sale is available to both new and existing Prime members. With the rising inflation and incredibly high gas price, we are all look for ways to save money. All signs point to Amazon Prime Day 2022 being the biggest shopping event of the summer. The two-day sale is expected to see some of the biggest price cuts of the year on tons of reviewed-approved products. Hence, if you are like me you are probably looking forward to the deals. However, you should mindful shopping habits in mind. That being said, when is prime day? Amazon Prime Day 2022 will be held in July—however, exact dates have yet to be confirmed.

Last year, the two-day event was held from June 21-22, 2021. It was largely back to normal in terms of supply and deal variety, with Amazon offering over 2 million deals in 20 countries including Germany, Mexico, Spain, and the United Arab Emirates. Amazon looks ready to top that again this July. Just click here to find out how to get notification to let you know when the deal start.

Mindful Shopping

I am particularly guilty of being caught in the frenzy of marked down items and annual sales. We purchase things we don’t need, items that are neither our need or practical. Why? Because they are on sale.

A smart and mindful shopper will carve out an afternoon just for shopping and will not settle for anything less than exactly what they are looking for. Mindful shopping is a practice of mindful living. Taking the time to actually choose shop, will actually help you save money and, in turn help you minimize clutter since you will only buy what you need. So what am I look for? As part of mindful shopping, I am actually sitting down and writing down the essential things that I need. Additionally, I am also keeping in mind upcoming holiday season, loved ones birthdays, wedding to do some research and shop a head for those. That is not mindless shopping. So what are some of the sales you can forward? A lot of essential items and gifts (for upcoming occasions and holidays). However, you can still get some great deals now on some of the following items. Remember, I am just giving you the scoop in case you need these items. You buys just because of a sale. But, if you have to buy it (for your or loved ones) then why not enjoy the sales.

Amazon Prime What Are Some of The Best Deals Available Now?

Samsung Galaxy S22 series ($700): If need a new phone, then you can get $100 off S22, $200 off S22+ and S22 Ultra, and free storage upgrade. If your current phone is not trade worthy, Amazon is taking at least $100 off the original price of each model of the S22, and you can snag the larger 256GB models for the same price at 128GB. If you are in the market for Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 ($850) then the already discounted ($150 off) and might see even deeper discounts as we get closer to the unveiling of its successor, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4. The Flip4 doesn’t appear to have any jaw-dropping upgrades, so save money with the current model and join the fold able club. Fitbit Charge 5 ($128.95) – If you like fitness tracker like me, then you will love the $25 off on the Fitbit Charge 5. With a week-long battery life, color display, and Fitbit’s tried-and-true tracking prowess, the Charge 5 more than earns its title as the best premium fitness tracker on the market today.

Other deals include Amazon Fire HD 8 Table 32 GB for $49.99 (save $40), OXO Brew 8 Cup Stainless Steel Coffee Maker for $139.99 (save $59.96); Hestan – ProBond Collection – Professional Clad Stainless Steel 4-Piece Starter Cookware Set for $127.96 (save $34.50); REVLON One-Step Volumizer PLUS 2.0 Hair Dryer and Hot Air Brush for $53.95 (Save $16.34); 2021 Apple iPad Mini (Wi-Fi, 256GB) for $549 (save $100)

What Can You Expect To Be On Deal on Prime Day?

Almost everything on Amazon gets some kind of discount or Lightning deal around Prime Day. Smartphones and smartphone accessories of every flavor will be discounted, as will smart TVs, tablets, computer accessories, and, of course, computers themselves. In previous years, Prime Day has been the perfect time to grab a good Chromebook as Amazon targets parents who need something for their children to do homework before school starts.

Additionally, fitness tracker (such as Fitbit) and smartwatch deals are fast and frequent. With the Samsung Galaxy Watch5 expected to arrive in late August or September, the Galaxy Watch 4 will likely reach its lowest prices ever on Prime Day; the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Flip3 will be in the same position. The Pixel 6 also launches at the end of July, so Prime Day may be the last chance to grab the Pixel 5a on sale. That puts three of the best Android phones on the market at likely their lowest prices to date. Last year, I needed Amazon echo products and Ring smart home security camera and found amazon deals on those. In fact, I ended up getting the echo free with my Ring product. If you are into Arlo, Eufy, or Blink, there should be deals for you as well. What ever you are into don’t forget to check out the Prime Day page on Amazon and bookmark it.

My dear beautiful lovelies! Whether you are trying to save for gift or just love saving money, the Amazon Prime Day is a prime place to shop and get amazing deals. Hope you enjoyed this post. I consider myself fortunate to have good health, a full-time job, and a roof over my head. However, there are still so many people who are struggling to put food on their tables. Please join me to help those who are struggling. If you have good health, full-time jobs, and a roof over your head, please join me to help those who are struggling. Whether you donate $5 or $500, you will make a huge difference in someone’s life.

No Kid Hungry:

America’s kids need us. The coronavirus is closing schools nationwide, and millions of vulnerable children are losing the school meals they depend on. For some, it’s the only food they’ll receive on a given day. We have a plan to feed kids, but we need your help today to continue our work to ensure every kid gets three meals a day. You can click above to donate to mygofundme page donation going directly to the organization, or you can click on the direct link to the site.

Food Bank of Maryland:

PLEASE DONATE ANY AMOUNT YOU CAN AND SHARE THE POST WITH EVERYONE YOU KNOW.

Manna Food Center, a nonprofit organization, strives to eliminate hunger in Montgomery County through food distribution, education, and advocacy. Millions of children go to bed hungry in America every year, sadly it’s worse now! Today, 14 million children regularly miss meals — three times more than during the Great Recession and five times more than before the pandemic.

Many parents have lost their job during the pandemic. Sadly, that shows no sign of stopping. Your donation can bring relief to the millions worried about where their next meal will come from. It’s even worse for Latino and Black families, whose rates of nutrition insecurity have spiked to 25% and 30%. In the world’s wealthiest country, this is unconscionable.

Even before the pandemic, the U.S. Department of Agriculture estimated 37 million people in America struggled with hunger and nutrition. The Centers for Disease Control reports 76% of people killed by COVID-19 had at least one underlying condition, most of which were diet-related. Diet-related diseases also fuel skyrocketing health care costs, which rose from 5% to 28% of the federal budget in the past 50 years.

Let’s make the world better, kinder, brighter. Every dollar you give will create real change. $1 will feed 5 hungry children here in the US, but $1,000 will feed 50,000 starving children overseas. Be the good in the lives of many by giving right now.

Mindfulness To Address The Trauma of Mass Shootings

Hi there my beautiful lovelies! Hope you guys are doing well and staying safe. Since May 14, 2022, 35 people have traumatically lost their lives in three different mass shootings. What has been the most traumatic was the death of 19 children. For one, I have been crying every time I see the news and have trouble sleeping. I have been dealing with sadness, anger, and even overwhelming fear. However, I am using mindfulness to address my trauma. Today, I will share with you some tips on the use of mindfulness to address the trauma of mass shootings.

Trauma and How It Affects Us

As explained by the minful.org website, approximately 60% of North Americans experience at least one traumatic event in their lifetime. Some of these individuals may go on to develop post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), a condition marked by intense, disturbing thoughts and feelings related to a traumatic experience that lasts long after the traumatic event has ended. These types of trauma have a negative impact on our brains. Human and animal studies find that traumatic stress is associated with decreased volume in the hippocampus, anterior cingulate cortex, and left amygdala; brain regions that are highly sensitive to environmental threats.

Mindfulness To Deal With Trauma

Studies have shown that higher levels of dispositional mindfulness are associated with fewer concurrent PTSD symptoms in survivors of natural disasters, victims of sexual abuse or assault, and firefighters. Other studies looking at veterans have shown that mindfulness can help mediate the negative mental health effects of trauma. Additionally, a meta-analysis of 18 studies compared the effects of mindfulness-based interventions to those of a randomized control group in reducing the psychological symptoms of traumatic stress and PTSD. This study included data on 1,219 participants. Researchers found that individuals who participated in the mindfulness-based interventions demonstrated significantly lower levels of PTSD symptoms following treatment than various control group members.

Simple Techniques To Practice Mindfulness

Follow these simple techniques offered by verywellmind.com to practice mindfulness.

  1. Find a comfortable position either lying on your back or sitting. If you are sitting down, make sure that you keep your back straight and release the tension in your shoulders. Let them drop.
  2. Close your eyes.
  3. Focus your attention on your breathing. Simply pay attention to what it feels like in your body to slowly breathe in and out.
  4. Now bring your attention to your belly. Feel your belly rise and expand every time you breathe in. Feel your belly fall every time you breathe out.
  5. Continue to focus your attention on the full experience of breathing. Immerse yourself completely in this experience. Imagine you are “riding the waves” of your own breathing.
  6. Anytime that you notice your mind has wandered away from your breath (it likely will and this is completely normal!), simply notice what it was that took your attention away and then gently bring your attention back to the present moment—your breathing.
  7. Continue as long as you would like!

You can also watch the following that will help you with a quick guided mindfulness-based meditation to deal with stress:

The trauma of mass shootings has become a common part of our lives. Sadly, unless we take action and remove lawmakers who don’t care about the mass shooting issues and hide behind NRA and mental health, I am afraid we will continue to face this trauma. However, let us use mindfulness to be more resilient, and help us with the mental strength to get back our voice through our votes.

Please comment below as to how are you dealing with the trauma of mass shootings? I would love to hear your feedback. Please let me know what topic you want me to cover next.

Quote of the Day – Dreaming

Hi there my beautiful lovelies! Hope you guys are doing well and staying safe. Today, I want to talk to you about the quote of the day about dream.

Quote of the Day

I loved this quote. If you want to dream you need to hope and remove doubt. Hope and dream are two terms that are used to discuss our expectations and desires for the future. Dream can be a cherished ambition or desire, or an idea created in your imagination. Hope is a feeling of expectation and desire for a particular thing to happen. This quote reminds me of what Brandi Caskey said, “Hope is what motivates us and keeps us going through the hard times. We dream of something better than we presently have, pushing us further. There is no person alive that isn’t filled with dreams, goals and ideals. These things are a part of life and human nature.”

Hence, I like the idea that in order to dream to need to feed our hopes to motivate it and keep us going, and doubt will do the opposite. It crushes our hope and dreams. If we want to dream, we need to expand our hopes and crush our doubts. As Richard Branson, founder of Virgin Group said, “doubt kills more dreams than failure ever will…Whenever doubt creeps in, I remind myself that dreams aren’t linear. I also think of all the brilliant innovations and discoveries that would have come to nothing if their inventors had given in to their doubts. I’m sure everyone from Thomas Edison to Gertrude Stein doubted their dreams from time-to-time, but the difference is they didn’t let it knock them off-course.” If you demand proof from your doubt, you’ll be able to either squash it or solve the problem. Either way your dreams and ideas will be better for it. Remember our brain is logical and it loves logic. So, feed it with logic to squash your doubt.

My dear lovelies! I would love to hear what you think about this quote? How would you interpret it? Please leave your response in the comment below. I look forward to hearing your perspectives.

Step By Step Acrylic Paint Challenge #8 | Kungfu Panda 3 Painting Tutorial

Hi there my beautiful lovelies! Hope you guys are doing well and staying safe. The past months have been nothing but stressful for me. Even meditation did not help with this level of stress. Hence I decided to focus on something I love. I have been painting and drawing for a while now. However, over the past several years, life got in the way. I love to paint.

Step By Step Painting

Nevertheless, the recent stressor has compelled me to stop and take a look at what I am doing and can do to help with my stress. It is then that I decided to take up my sketch pencil and my paints. What I forgot with my busy life, is how art has helped me to step back and look at my life and then directly address any issue. Whenever you are consumed in your art, there are times, when it’s very hard to see the big picture. It is then you need to take a break and come back with a new perspective. You will be able to see what you have done so far and where you want to go next.

My paintings have allowed me to take that break and come back with a new perspective on the stressor. That in turn has made it easier for me to find the next step toward mindfulness. My art has become my new mindful meditation. Today I want to share with you a step-by-step tutorial on one such art and I hope you can find it as much therapeutic as it has been for me.

If you enjoy what you see please subscribe to my brand new channel dedicated completely to my artwork. Today, I want to share with you a step-by-step painting replicating the painting of Intagam’s @kebirch. I am no professional artist and I don’t claim to be one. I am an amateur artist who paints for stress relief. I have painted with oil paint before, but have not worked with acrylic paint for long. Hence, I will bring you my amateur step-by-step acrylic paintings of various YouTubers. Hope you enjoy the video.

You can click above to donate to my gofundme page donation going directly to the organization, or you can click on the direct link to the site.

Department of Agriculture estimated that 37 million people in America struggled with hunger and nutrition. The Centers for Disease Control reports that 76% of people killed by COVID-19 had at least one underlying condition, most of which were diet-related. Diet-related diseases also fuel skyrocketing health care costs, which rose from 5% to 28% of the federal budget in the past 50 years.

Let’s make the world better, kinder, and brighter. Every dollar you give will create real change. $1 will feed 5 hungry children here in the US, but $1,000 will feed 50,000 starving children overseas. Be the good in the lives of many by giving right now.

Quote of the Day – Serenity

Hi there my beautiful lovelies! Hope you guys are doing well and staying safe. Today, I want to talk to you about the quote of the day – serenity.

Quote of the Day – Serenity

I loved this quote. What is serenity? It is the state of being calm, peaceful, and untroubled. That state should not be the end of our soul’s journey. It should be part of our soul’s journey not the end. The journey of our soul through our human life is an opportunity given to us to experience being ‘alive’ in many dimensions. The great universal intention has manifested into a physical form as us human beings besides many other forms. Serenity or the state of being calm, peaceful, and untroubled is just a part of that journey. I believe that we don’t need to be in that state all our life. A soul’s journey is about all the ups and downs but most importantly how we handle those ups and downs.

If we live intentionally, upholding our deepest values in life, we can brighten our soul’s journey. I am not perfect up it’s those small imperfections that makes our life that much more meaningful. Remember Mona Lisa painting? Through all the ups and downs let us learn to handle life with grace and authenticity, being true to ourselves, and we too will be able to reach serenity and accept being part of our soul’s journey.

My dear lovelies! I would love to hear what you think about this quote? How would you interpret it? Please leave your response in the comment below. I look forward to hearing your perspectives.

Medium Post Four: Poem By Sarnina (Two)

I am an artist using, using my artwork as an outlet to let my ADHD self free. It also allows me to use my right brain, a key component to mindful living and being self-aware. Just as paintings are my outlets, poems are my sister’s outlet to let her dyslexics self run free. With her permission, I am sharing one such poem. Please show her the same support you have shown me.

This poem is dedicated to the one person who was her friend, mentor, confidant, and guardian angel. With his passing, she lost her best friend, mentor, confidant, and guardian angel. Hope you can feel the same grief in this poem, as I do. In her poem, she pours her heart out, one thing that is hard for her to do due to her dyslexia. Hope you will be able to connect with her emotion through her poems. She wrote this poem dedicating to our grandpa just a few days before the death of our grandma nine years ago

Frozen In TIme2

In this poem, I can feel the raw emotion that my sister is usually unable to express verbally.  Through these poems, I want to make sure that others can see the same raw emotions that I can see. I hope you can connect to her through her poems. What kind of emotions are you feeling in this poem? What emotions can you connect to, through this poem? I am using my own drawing to portray the emotion that I felt while reading this poem.

I hope you enjoy this poem as much as I enjoyed sharing it. Don’t forget to check out my Facebook Page and follow me on Instagram @forevernij. Are you on Bloglovin? Step By Step Acrylic Paint Challenge #6 | Cherries 🍒 Painting Tutorial
