Style of the Day with Sweater Jacket

Hi There my Lovelies! Hope you are having a wonderful day. Happy Friday everyone. Today I want go over a very simple style of the day for work for those days when you have to those big meetings. It’s winter now and in fact we just had our first snow of the year today. Specially, during these time of the year I really hate wearing suit for those very important work meetings. Hence, I try to keep it simple and chic with sweater jackets.

Jacket: I got my sweater jacket last from New York and Company and absolutely love it. It is like with faux leather creating a more chic edgy look to the outfit. I got a lot of complements for this sweater. I have also went to interviews and big presentation in Chicago, the Windy city (in November) wearing this sweater. If you don’t like wearing suits all the time but want to the chic look, get your favorite sweater jacket and face your meeting or any presentation with chic confidence. I have added some of my favorite examples to help you get started.

Turtleneck: As you know I always love layering, specially during the winter. Whether you layer to achieve a certain look or to just stay warm, it never hurts to have fresh combinations on hand. When I layer, my goal is to achieve both. Depending on the weather , I like my sweater jacket with either a turtleneck or or my favorite mock neck short sleeve blouse. Whether, it’s turtleneck or just mock neck, I love how it add sophistication to any style.

Pant: You always have to complete your look with the perfect pair of pants. I have gotten my pants from everywhere and Ann Taylor and Loft has by far the perfect pairs. I remember sister first introduced me to Loft pants a decade ago when she worked there a summer during my undergraduate years. I absolutely fell in love with how it fit me. Back then I was very skinny but a curve and both Loft and Ann Taylor knew how to fit my size. I absolutely love the Kate all-season stretch trouser from Ann Taylor, because of its curvy fit.

All that Metal is Amazing

Hi There! How are you? Hope you are having a nice day. Have you ever tried metallic eyeshadow palette that you really impressed by and then found out that it only cost fraction of the price of the designer beauty brand? Today, I want to talk to you regarding a metallic palette and has really impressed. Most of all, the amazing part is it cost less then $5 and is so popular that it’s currently out of stock.

Description: I really love metallic palettes because of the extra oomph it adds to your look, and Ulta’s Metals Eye Shadow Palette includes 12 versatile, stunning, and highly pigmented eye shadow shades in matte and shimmer textures. You know after trying the 12 shades from the Better Together Collection from Too Faced and Kat Von D, I was really disappointed. Hence, I hesitantly ordered Ulta’s metal palette. Boy, I was surprised. You can create a myriad of subtle to dramatic looks. It also includes a full size brush.

Ingredients: Mica, Talc, Magnesium Stearate, Dimethicone, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Polyisobutene, Synthetic Wax, Ethylhexylglycerin, Mineral Oil, Phenoxyethanol, Tin Oxide. May Contain: Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Ultramarine Blue (CI 77007), Ferric Ferrocyanide (CI 77510), Carmine (CI 75470).

Verdict: After receiving the color I was amazed by the color. I love the metallic look that you can create from this palette. With less than $5, I definitely give this palette five stars and I can see why it is out of stock. The colors show through exactly how they are on the pallet, which took some getting used to because a little goes a long ways. It also lasts well. This 12 palette is worth much for than the $4.97 it cost me to get the palette.

NYX Cosmetics – Must Have Eye Glitter Collection

Hi There! How are you? Hope you had another wonderful day. Today, I wanted to take the time to go over a some simple products that I got Ulta that I really loved and want to share with you.

Roll-on Shimmer in Platinum ($3.99): This is a silky formulation glides on smoothly and is easy to blend. There are various colors available, which can be used as eye shadow or as highlighter. The roll-on shimmer easily blend the shimmer powder using a brush or clean fingers.

Verdict: I love this glitter and for less then $4 it’s amazing. It applies easily. Not sticky. Or gluey. I blended it with some regular eyeshadow and a fluffy brush. I use the roll on shimmer over my eyeshadow. It was my perfect New Year look.

Prismatic Eyeshadow in Tin and Rose Dust ($5.99): Thanks to Ipsy, I first got introduced to these cute little eyeshadows. Give your eyes extra sparkle and dimension with a fully pigmented metallic texture with NYX Cosmetics Prismatic Eye Shadow. Most of all it only cost $5.99.

Verdict: So I got a sample of fireball in my Ipsy bag and wow these colors are wonderful and quite pigmented. For less than $6 they are absolutely amazing. The quality reminds me a lot of urban decay eyeshadows but with the insane price tag. I highly recommend these eyeshadow along with the glitter to everyone.

Overall, I am really impressed by NYX cosmetics. You get these wonderful pigmented and blendable eyeshadows without paying high price tags of Urban Decay or Anastasia Beverly Hills. I hope you enjoy this post as much as I loved writing it.

Much Awaited Too Faced x Kat Von D Better Together Ultimate Eye Collection

Hi There lovelies! Hope you all had a great day today. Today I want to share with you my review on the much awaited Too Faced x Kat Von D Better Together Ultimate Eye Collection ($65). Hope you enjoy the blog as much as I loved writing it.

Description: This is a super-limited-edition collection with an interlocking heart eye shadow palette, Kat Von D’s beloved Tattoo Liner, and a full size of Too Faced’s iconic Better Than Sex Mascara. Better Together is a collaboration between makeup icons, Kat Von D and Too Faced Cosmetics. Kat and Jerrod each curated six brand new eye shadows for their respective sides of the palette. Inspired by a BFF heart necklace, the palette has a magnetic center panel, so you can separate the two halves of the palette. Create a look using just one side of the palette, or mix and match shades from both sides.

The Kat Von D Palette is accompanied by the beloved Tattoo Liner. This tattoo liner is a liquid eyeliner with an innovative brush tip for effortless, precise application. The fine brush tip glides across the lashline for incredibly fluid application, allowing you to create a variety of looks with ease.

Finally, finish off the look with Too Faced’s Better Than Sex Mascara. With each coat, lashes are full, defined, and stretched to unbelievable lengths for 1,944 percent more volume. The collagen-fueled formula and hourglass-shaped brush separate, coat, and curl each lash to voluptuous perfection.

Verdict: You only get 12 shades but they’re all so creamy and amazing. I love the bold colorful side of Kat Von D is juxtaposed by soft palettes of Too Faced. One of the matte pigment was non-existent, I had to swipe about a dozen times to get any pigment and they were dry and powdery. As you can see from the swatch the purple color looks straight up brown. Nonetheless, I did like the shimmer shades. As for the Kat Von D palette, I do liked how pigmented the shades are.

I have always liked the Too Faced mascara because it provides amazing volume. It’s not my favorite mascara. It’s really black and makes my lashes long and voluminous. However, you have you apply a lot of coats to get that looks. As for the liner, it applies smoothly and stays in place all day. The black is dark and rich. However, I like my Maybelline New York Eye Studio Master Precise Liquid Eyeliner, which cost just a fraction ($5.99). Overall, I will give 3 stars to this collection. For $65 I don’t think it’s worth the price to get a 12 shades palette. The full sized mascara and liner together cost $43 and for $22 you are getting a 12 shades eyeshadow palette. Hence, if you already like the mascara and the liner, then with just $22 more you can try the new shadow palette.

Overall, I did not like some of the 12 shades from the Better Together collection. I am not a big fan of this palette or the mascara. The packaging is great and the concept is beautiful but the collection is just not for me. I think that I liked their individual palettes much better.

Style of the Day with Geometric A-Line Dress

Hi There my lovelies! How are you all wonderful people doing? Hope you are having a wonderful start of the year. Today I wanted to present to you today my style of the day. Hope you enjoy the post as much as the I enjoyed writing it.

The Dress (Coeur de Vague Purple & Rust Geometric A-Line Dress): This dress has bright patches of color lending artistic charm with a mock neckline and button front, offset by a full, feminine skirt. I got this dress from Zulily. However, it’s completely sold out now. They are sold in European size and run small, hence had to order a size bigger. Who doesn’t like burst of color. The dress looks more like faux suede and I absolutely love the chic look in creates.

boots2 — **A2 by Aerosoles Taekwondo Wide Calf Wedge Boot ($49.95)**

The Boot: I got my boots ages ago from DSW. They go great with the dress. I just love my tan suede boots. The tan boot combines comfort and style together and completes the look of the A-line dress.

Overall, I loved my dress and the way the boot completed the look. No matter what the shifting trends of the moment may be, a good pair of boots never goes out of style. They work with everything from skinny jeans to trousers to the classic LBD. I loved pairing my tan boots with this patch-work A-line dress.

Happy New Year from Dubai

Hi Lovelies! Happy New Year from the beautiful city of Dubai. You may be thinking I am in Dubai right now. Actually, not really but one year ago to the day I was celebrating New Year from Dubai. I decided to wait till now to share my experience with you. Dubai is a beautiful place to visit and I was only there for a day but I want to share my experience my experience with you, my lovely and wonderful readers.

We left for Dubai on the mid-morning of December 31, 2015 for a close to 9 hours trip. We flew from Dulles International Airport. We flew by Emirates and went by Dubai timeline to celebrate New Year in the plane. At midnight UAE time, the flight attendants came by wearing the New Year hats wishing up Happy New Year. To be honest, this was the very first time in my life, I ushered in the new year above international water. My dear wonderful readers, during my visit to Dubai I have taken the time to take deep breath and take time to observe my surrounding. The result was to enjoy the moments even more and creating lasting memories.

I were in the hotel by 9:00 am. I took a little time to freshen up and relax after the long trip. After that we went to the lobby and booked one of those guide tour to show us around the city. We highly recommend this as it will allow you to enjoy various part of the city with guided tour. Each hotel have various package deal, you have the option from 2 to 6 hours tour and even a desert tour. We visited various part the city including: Burj Khalifa, Burj al-Arab, Dubai Business Central Twin Towers, Emirates Park Towers Hotel & Spa, Jumeirah Emirates Towers HoteI, Dubail Mall, Al-Farooq Mosque, Jumeirah Beach, Atlantis the Palm, Palm Island and so on. I am also glad that we took a guided tour because even on January 1^st it was in the mid to upper 90s in there.

Burj Khalifa: Burj Khalifa is the tallest building in the world, standing tall at 829.8m (2,722ft). Burj Khalifa was designed by Adrian Smith, then of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM), whose firm designed the Willis Tower and One World Trade Center. Hyder Consulting was chosen to be the supervising engineer with NORR Group Consultants International Limited chosen to supervise the architecture of the project. The design of Burj Khalifa is derived from patterning systems embodied in Islamic architecture, incorporating cultural and historical elements particular to the region, such as in the Great Mosque of Samarra. The Y-shaped plan is designed for residential and hotel usage. A buttressed core structural system is used to support the height of the building, and the cladding system is designed to withstand Dubai’s summer temperatures. I was literally awestruck when I first saw the building ground up. It is humongous. I tried to take picture of the entire structure from ground up and failed miserably. The building was too tall. To me, the picture does not do justice.

Dubail Mall: This mall is located at the foot of the Burj Khalifa and stretches across 1.1 million sq/m, it is the world’s largest shopping, entertainment, and leisure destination. There are 1,200 retail outlets, from Armani to Zara, or visit the Dubai Aquarium, children’s theme parks and the Dubai Ice Rink.

Burj al-Arab: It is a luxury hotel. It is a five-star hotel, the highest official ranking. While the hotel is sometimes erroneously described as “the world’s only seven-star hotel”, the hotel management claims to never have done that themselves. It is also the fourth tallest hotel in the world. This beautiful architecture, designed to mimic the sail of a ship, is on an artificial island 280m (920 ft) from the Jumeirah Beach. The building stands tall talk 321m (1,053 ft).

Jumeirah Beach: The glorious Jumeirah Beach lies along Dubai’s coast, providing stretches of soft white sand on which to relax and play. Our tour bus dropped up off their for 20 minutes to enjoy the view of the ocean and take pictures. It was very hot. It was the dry heat that made it hard to stand there. I stood near the water to enjoy the water a bit but the sand was very hot. We took the time enjoy some beach time. I enjoyed every moment of it because I knew that I couldn’t have done that in the east coast on January 1^st, with temperature in the 30s.

Al Falrooq Omar Bin Al Khattab Mosque: The mosque is named after Umar bin Al Khattab, a companion of the Prophet Mohammed who became the second Caliph after Abu Bakr and was given the title Al Farooq, meaning someone who distinguished truth from falsehood. It was a very quiet and serene place to visit. I am always fascinated by the European and Islamic architecture. We stopped and spent 10 minutes absorbing the environment and taking picture. It is a beautiful place to see and the mosque is so beautiful. There are inscription in the walls, which are Ottoman inscriptions inspired by the Blue Mosque in Istanbul and had an Andalusian touch.

Atlantis the Palm: Set on the iconic Palm Jumeirah island with views of the Arabian Gulf, this luxurious resort is 14 km from Wild Wadi Water Park and 15 km from Mall of the Emirates. The island is a man-made island in the shape of palm tree. The island consists of a tree trunk, a crown with 16 fronds, and a surrounding crescent island that forms an 11 kilometer-long breakwater. The island itself is five kilometers by five kilometers. It adds 78 kilometers to the Dubai coastline.

Gold Souk: The souk is located in the heart of Dubai’s commercial business district in Deira, in the locality of Al Dhagaya. The souk consists of over 300 retailers that trade almost exclusively in jewelry. One thing that I have learned about buying gold from Dubai, if you really want to buy gold from Dubai from gold souk then you really to haggle to get the best deal.

Dubai Museum: Finally, we ended the trip with visit to the Dubai Museum. It is the main museum in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is located in the Al Fahidi Fort. When entering, one can see the fort constructed and the various displays that go along with it. From the fort, there is a path to the galleries, which display the general culture of the land, especially in the 1800s. It includes local antiquities as well as artifacts from African and Asian countries that traded with Dubai. We did not enter the museum but sat outside and enjoyed the outside view.

Overall, I always recommend to use guided tour to visit various places at Dubai. I know one day was not enough to visit Dubai. Next time, we will be there longer and enjoy more. Until then, we really enjoyed our day at Dubai. If you ever get a chance take a stop over at Dubai and take a guide tour of the city. A friend of mine did the same on her way to Australia.

Do you have a New Year Resolution?

Happy New Year everyone. How you had a wonderful time ushering in 2017. How did you welcome the new year? This year I decided to take it easy and just be with my loved ones and watch the Times Square ball drop on TV. With the new year here, do you have a resolution that you want to keep this year?

I for one don’t believe in new year resolution because it puts a pressure on yourself to follow through and you are more likely to fail. Each January, roughly one in three Americans resolve to better themselves in some way. A much smaller percentage of people actually make good on those resolutions. While about 75% of people stick to their goals for at least a week, less than half (46%) are still on target six months later, a 2002 study found. I believe in having a purpose of the year.

Hence, if you really want to follow through on your goal Dr. Stephen Graef, a sports psychologist at Ohio State University, came up with an acronym – P.A.S.T. – plan, arrange your environment, stick to one thing and too easy to fail. Planning is creating to sticking to a goal. First, clarify what you want and what specific steps that you will take to plan to complete the task. Always write things down. Writing down plans are more likely to be followed through then those not written down. Second, make arrange your environment to make sure that you follow through. For example you plan to wake up early to go for a run or walk, then keep your phone on the other side of the bed so that you will have to get up to turn the alarm off. You can also go to bed in your walking/running cloth. Third, stick to one resolution at a time instead of too many. This will make sure that you are more likely to stick to your resolution. Having too many resolutions can often make them unattainable. Finally, make the solution too easy to fail. For example if your plan is to exercise, start with 1 minute and then slowly move up.

My lovelies! My goal for this year is quite simple. I want to life in the moment and see it through the lenses of a pedestrian. Last year has passed by too fast, with me looked into the world and life through the lenses of a helicopter pilot (macro perspective). This year, I want to take the time look into life and the world the lenses of a street walker looking at the detail beauty of life in the moment, because true beauty of life lives in the moment. I plan to do this by starting the day with deep breath. I have set alarm in my phone to take time to do deep breathing exercise for few minutes. I will start small and increase incrementally.

Sing The Movie

Hi There my lovelies! Are you ready to usher in 2017? I know I am. How did you spend the last day of the year? I spent with hanging out with my sister. We watched the movie, Sing and today I will provide my prospective on the movie.

Story: Sing is directed by writer-director Garth Jennings. It’s an animated comedy from the producers of the Despicable Me films. The movie is centered around a theater loving koala named Buster Moon (voiced by Matthew McConaughey), who decided to run a talent contest to boost sales for his failing theater company. Unfortunately for Buster, a printing error made by his faithful one-eyed lizard secretary Miss Crawl (voiced by Jennings himself) mistakenly reports the prize will be $100,000, not the $1,000 Buster has in his savings bank. The money certainly motivates Mike, a mouse (voiced by Seth MacFarlane) with jerky quality who’s always on the hustle. However, the money is only part of the lure for most of the other major characters, an assortment of mammalian hopefuls including: Rosita, a pig mama of 25 (Reese Witherspoon); Jonny, a teenage British gorilla (Taron Egerton) who does not want follow his father (Peter Serafinowicz) into the family’s bank-robbing business; Ash, a spiky punk porcupine; and finally Meena (Tori Kelly), the painfully shy elephant who is too scared to sing in front of others and ends up working as stagehand for Buster.

Verdict: Sing is very well animated. I would not expect anything less from the maker of Despicable Me. The movie starts out with Norma Noodleman (Jennifer Saunders), a sheep singing in her purple gown with purple theatrical background and silhouette. I loved the color and the brightness and the movies pieces of this movie. It’s a cheerful movie with a positive tone. It’s a feel good movie. What’s the best part of the movie are the amazing songs and music. Apparently, the cast all sang their songs themselves, with surprisingly impressive results. It’s simple, with catchy pop music and jokes that are likely to make kids laugh.

It’s not a perfect movie. There are few things that I didn’t like about the movie. First of all, I didn’t like Rosita’s home life. She does so much for her family, her 25 piglets, and her burnt-out husband (Nick Offerman) barely notices her. He doesn’t even notices when she sets up a Rube-Goldberg contraption to keep her household working when she can’t secure a babysitter to participate in the contest. Similarly, poor Johnny wants his father’s approval. However, at the end Rosita get her husband’s attention with the most passionate kiss, and Johnny’s father breaks out of jail just to let him how proud he is of his son.

Overall, Sing is not quite at the same quality as most of the animated movies we’ve seen this year. However, it is a nice feel-good movie that kids can enjoy. It’s well-animated. It has a wonderful vocal cast, and music is what makes this movie worth the price of admission. It’s a enjoyable to watch and heart-warming and can your mind in a positive prospective.

Goodbye 2016

Hi There! Happy New Years Eve. Can’t believe that today is the last day of 2016. As looking forward to welcoming 2017 I am grateful for a good year though I do admit some of the events did not go as we may have planned. However, we cannot dwell on the past as it will hinder us from moving forward. Below are of the moment I am very proud of.

Dubai Trip: I ushered in 2016 in Dubai. Yes, my friend I ushered in the New Years from Dubai. However, since I was taking a break from blogging at the time I did not share my amazing experience with you. However, don’t be upset. I will provide detail about my trip tomorrow on New Year’s day. I really had a great time.

Completing Ten Years at My Work: I know it may not be much, but last year marked 10 years since I started working at the Children’s National Health System. I literally started my career working at Children’s when I just started graduate school and I cannot believe it has been 10 years. During the 10 years I have had the privilege of working with the most amazing people and met the most amazing families. My worked at Children’s helped me fight for childhood HIV/AIDS, congenital heart disease, newborn critical congenital heart disease screening, and mindful based meditation.

Voting Past November: Although, the outcome of this election has the most heartbreaking and depressing for me, but I could vote for the first time the first female major party nominee who won the popular vote by more than 2.6 million. This is the very first election cycle where I was actively involved in the pollical process and volunteered on behalf of my candidate. Again, though the outcome may not be what I wanted but I know I have done my very best and gave it my all for my candidate and for the love and tolerance I wanted my country to be in. Most of all, what all the protests post election have shown is that people are still here to fight together against any injustice.

Your Support: The one of the biggest thing I am happy about is the support that I have received for you, my wonderful readers after my almost a yearlong break that I had to take from blogging due to health and personal reason. When I returned to blogging past Halloween post, I receive respond. Thank you so much for your constant support and feedback. Reading your comments and sharing my thoughts with you and always lifted me up. Thank you! I will continue to bring my honest and true feedback and I always look forward to your comments and feedback. Please check out and like my Facebook, Instagram, and Bloglovin pages. Finally, beautiful and sweet friends, let’s take a moment of silence to remember all those who left us this year and take pride in reflecting back on all the amazing things that we have accomplished the year that has been 2016. My Favorite Beauty Products of 2016

Hi There! Hope you are having a wonderful day. It’s hard to believe we are almost at the end of 2016. With only a day till New Year, I thought I would take the time and share with you – my beloved and wonderful readers – my favorite beauty products from 2016. They are by no means the best-selling or the most popular beauty products but I have come to appreciate them and enjoy them over the past year.

1. Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit – That Glow ($40)

Description: This is one of the most popular collections from Anastasia Beverly Hills. This glow kit contains four metallic powder highlighters for intense luminosity. The kit is currently sold out everywhere. You can add your name to the waitlist and get notified once the kit is available. Layer shades of Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit, or wear them separately, on the face and body for a radiant glow.

Verdict: This is hands down one of my favorite beauty products from 2016. This is such an amazing product. They are such high quality, it’s incredible. It’s so smooth and buttery can be worn so it looks natural or so you can be seen from the moon. I have That Glow color and it has a great mix of colors. The colors are super pigmented and are really easy to blend. The colors are long-lasting as well. I have medium skin tone and I can wear all of the colors except bronzed as a highlight but they all look good as eyeshadows as well. If you can get your hands on this product I would highly recommend it for everyone.

2. Oval Brush Set ($15.99) at Amazon

Description: Oval Brushes have become quite popular this year, and if you are like me you will try out anything new in the beauty world just to discover the hype for yourself. I have been using this Yoseng 10 Pcs New fashionable Super Soft Oval Toothbrush Makeup Brush Set the past 6 months and I absolutely love it. These brushes come in various color design, and are made with high quality synthetic hair providing superb ability to hold powder, liquid and creams.

Verdict: To be honest, when it comes to face make-up I know no longer use my old love, kabuki brushes. I have these oval brushes they blend the make-up so much better. However, when it comes to eye-makeup, I am still more comfortable with the old make-up brushes. It perhaps have to do with my lack of hand flexibility to maneuver the brushes to do eye make-up post my hand surgery but I just love using my old eye makeup brushes more. If you are willing to try new brushes click on the link above and try out these oval brushes. I would highly recommend the oval brushes to everyone. I love beauty I am always looking for a quick way of doing things. Hence I am I find these brushes more time saving then the beauty blenders. Perhaps it’s the artist in my talking but it’s the brushes are designed to give your better control.

3. BH Costimetics’ Galaxy Chic Baked Eyeshadow Palette($14)

Description: This palette includes a range of out of this world colors that work for everyone. From everyday neutrals to vibrant hues, your look will undoubtedly be Galaxy Chic!

Verdict: If you have not tried this eyeshadow palette yet you should order as soon as possible. Trust me my beautiful friends, for $14 you will not go wrong with this investment. The colors are so beautiful and blendable. I have absolutely fallen in love with this palette. Even our friends at Allure cannot stop raving about this popular product from 2016. It’s basically every shimmer you need.

4. Urban Decay Moondust Eyeshadow Palette($49)

Description: This eyeshadow palette takes glittery eye looks to a whole new level. Laced with micro-fine bits of iridescent sparkle and lush 3-D metallics, these shadows create a gorgeous, diamond-like effect.

Verdict: I know I am just an eye shadow fanatic but this is another of my favorite beauty product from 2016. I love everything about this palette: from the gunmetal case to the beautiful and sparkly shadows. I know that my mom have tried to steal this palette from me whenever she has gotten the chance.

5. MAC Extra Dimension Skinfinish Powder ($33)

Description:This is a liquid-powder highlighter that gives a luminous, well-defined finish. I got the one in Beaming Blush. It is designed to sculpt and highlight your face.

Verdict: To be honest, I like it better than Anastasia Beverly Hills illuminators. That being said, this powder does not replace the glow it, which is a versatile product. I have not stopped using it so far. It blends flawlessly over the skin to add radiance and shimmer. It looks beautiful when the light catches it. I am so glad that I walked in the Mac store at Union Station on November 23^rd and was recommended this powder.

6. MAC Prep + Prime Colour Correcting SPF 30 Primer ($31)

Description:This is an oil-controlling tinted primer, color corrector and sun protectant. This is a multitasking formula that evens skin tone, increases luminosity and inhibits oily shine while protecting from harmful UVA/UVB rays. This moisturizing primer also keeps skin fresh and hydrated throughout the day.

Verdict: I got the color Recharge because of my horrible dark circles and it does wonders covering it. I use concealers along and the color corrector from Tarte, which is so dark. However, this one can just use it by itself when I am lazy I just use to instantly lighten my dark circle and just and my hyper-pigmentation and just leave home with a light foundation power. I loved this so much I just ordered this online again. I am completely dependent this primer because I can dab this on to cover my dark circle even when I am too lazy to wear make-up.

7. Modern Renaissance Eye Shadow Palette from Anastasia Beverly Hills ($42)

Description: This palatte puts a present-day take on Renaissance colors, this eye palette features 14 shades that let you create stylish, day to night looks.

Verdict: I absolutely love the palette because of the versatility of the color and look your can get from the palette. The shadows are very pigmented and a little goes a long way! They are also very buttery and incredibly easy to blend. My only problem is sometimes it’s too easy to over-blend. I usually blend my shadows a lot, but for these, I need to blend very lightly or else they blend out too much. If you think about it, it is less expensive than a lot of other comparable palettes which is nice.

8. Loreal EverPure Volume Shampoo and Conditioner

Description: Thanks to Influenster VoxBox, I found my new haircare best friend. As I have shared with you earlier I have very thin, color-treated and hard to adjust hair.However, when I receive the Loreal Ever Pure VoxBox it was easier for me to try because of crueltry-free, vegan poduct. Additionally, color-treated hair requires special care. This formula is especially gentle on color. There are no harsh sulfates, salts, or surfactants that can strip, dull and damage hair. One can experience a purely sensational luxurious lather and a fresh aromatic fragrance that bloom. EverPure is 100% sulfate-free, Paraben-free, and vegan with no animal derived ingredients or by-products.

Verdict: My hair absolutely loves this product and since I have started using EverPure I have been using less, and less hairs. Yes! My beautiful and wonderful readers, you have heard me right. In fact, by my calculation, my hair loss has reduced by greater than 50%. I cannot ask for anything more. The smell is nice and I loved the lather it formed. At end my hair felt light and alive at the same time. The beautiful readers, thanks to influenster, my hair just found a new best friend. The best part is the product is vegan and cruelty free. Overall, I absolutely love EverPure Volume shampoo and conditioner. My hair now can breathe freely.

9. Ciaté London Liquid Velvet Moisturizing Matte Liquid Lipstick in Pin Up ($19)

Description: Liquid Velvet Moisturizing Matte Liquid Lipstick combines highly-pigmented, gorgeous matte, long-wearing lip color with hyaluronic acid for its intense lip-conditioning benefits so that lips appear fuller, while feeling more supple and smooth.

Verdict: I actually got two of these: one through the Ciaté London Chloe Morello Beauty Haul Makeup Set from Sephora and the second through the Ipsy December Glam bag. I am so that I was introduced to this lip color and it is beautiful. I love the color of the lip creme. It would look good on anyone. It goes on so smoothly and is really well-pigmented. This lipstick is long wearing, nondrying and there is no fading in the inner lip area. I have another of this from the Ciate London Chloe Morello Beauty Haul Makeup Set. I am glad that now I have two of this beautiful love liquid lipstick and I will use it.You can get the lipstick for $19.

10. Sephora Collection Color Switch by Vera Mona Brush Cleaner ($18)

Description: This is a dry, makeup-removing sponge that allows you to switch colors without having to switch brushes.The special material allows you to remove pigment from your brushes without brush cleaner formula. Simply swipe the brush over the sponge until pigment is removed and move on to the next color. The sponge is completely reusable and can be cleaned by washing it with warm water and soap or it can be sprayed with disinfecting brush cleaner for a quick cleanse.

Verdict: My beautiful readers, as I have mentioned earlier, I love beauty and makeup but at the same time I love efficiency. This brush cleaner brings efficiency to the palm hands. You can switch between different color powder eyeshadow swatches without a touch of water. If that is not efficiency than what is? My eye makeup time has been significantly reduced in the morning time thanks to this cleaner. The fact that I can quickly clean by brush without water just between color switches is amazing and a huge time saver. Did I mention that I absolutely love this? It is hands down one of the most useful products to have in your collection!
