My Latest Sephora Haul – September 2020

Hi there my beautiful lovelies! Hope you guys are doing well and staying safe. Happy first of October you all. Well, this month reminds me of the beauty of the fall. Today, I want to talk to you about my latest Sephora haul from September 2020.

As you may know, I am a huge Sephora fan. In fact, I bought my very first makeup kit from Sephora years ago. I still remember the warm greeting from the associates. When they heard that that was my very first makeup shopping they were so helpful in finding the right product that matched my skin tone and type. They even gave me a quick makeup tutorial. Thanks to Sephora, my very first beauty haul experience was relaxing and stress-free.

KVD Vegan Beauty Lock-It Precision Powder Brush – ($16 – Sale)

This is a pretty nice brush. This a powder brush with a unique arched shape and a flat profile that is specially designed for setting undereye concealer and precise highlighting. You can tell how good the quality of the brush is just by the weight. The brush itself is so soft, holds onto products with dear life until you put it where you want it. So worth it on sale and even full price honestly!

Marc Jacobs Beauty Eye-conic Multi-Finish Eye Shadow Palette in Extravagance! Limited Gold Edition – $49.50

This is a limited gold edition eyeshadow palette with seven ultra-pigmented shades from unexpected neutrals to smoky shimmers for gilded looks. Decked out in luxe gold stripes, this limited-edition eyeshadow palette covers lids in the same velvety-rich, super-plush pigment of the original Eye-Conic palettes. Style your eyes with its four fashion finishes: buttery matte velvet, shimmering satin, sparkling silk, and metallic lamé.

Oh, how I love this Extravaganza palette! The eyeshadows are creamy, pigmented, and last pretty long on my oily eyelids without primer. The shades are just beautiful and the shimmery shades don’t leave fallout all over my face like other palettes twice the price do. That last shade works so well for lining the eyes, no wet brush needed. And the shade before that is a metallic wonder. This lovely palette is a reminder that one can still buy and receive a beautiful, quality palette that is exciting to use without spending a ton of money.

“This was my first Marc Jacobs purchase. The shadows are pretty and blend well. They last a decent amount of time when used with an eye primer. The packaging is luxurious – this does not matter as it doesn’t contribute to the finished look. The eye shadow pans are small and the colours, while pretty, aren’t anything overly special. The price tag is hilarious, and not in a good way.”

Lancome SKIN FEELS GOOD Skin Nourishing Foundation – $35

This is my first Lancôme makeup product that I bought. This is a hydrating and oil-free foundation with SPF 23 that is infused with antioxidants, is lightweight, and ideal for that “no makeup” look. It has the perfect coverage and offers hydration without getting cakey under a mask all day. This product keeps my skin feeling fresh while providing coverage.

“I barely ever write a review, but let me tell you this product is AMAZING!!!! Personally I purchased the wrong shade because the testers were in the wrong spots and the description of the shade color wasn’t on there or was covered up. Since this shade is a little bit lighter than my complexion I blend the outside of my face only with a darker foundation now. When I first bought it I wasn’t blending at all and as time passed I realized my face was off but wasn’t aware until I left the house and took photos. I have bad house lighting anyways that was 4 weeks ago. For 3 1/2 weeks I’ve been wearing this product. Let me tell you when I mean my small acne and skin cleared up, it completely cleared up. Not only is my skin tone more evenly balance without makeup but it’s smoother and clearer. I have an uneven skin tone so my under eye area is a little darker and the skin is thin there. You can see my veins under my eye and my complexion is Rihanna’s skin tone so yea and I don’t use concealar with it. I use concealer with EVERY product I’ve used. I have never felt confident about my under eye area to leave my house without it being covered but now because of this product, my confidence with my face without makeup has grown so much. First time I felt naturally beautiful. My skin on my face is basically hormonal or occasional break outs. It’s always on my T-zone area which is my oily area. I have combination skin and I only get oily on my T-zone. It’s a few little bumps. I know everyone is different but for females who have a similar situation as mine this can be very helpful. I love to wear makeup period but I prefer a lightweight moisturizer foundation for everyday wear. This does last long but towards the end of my work day I look more like a person with really good skin than a girl wearing good makeup. It’s literally the definition of the name of the product. I told everyone who doesn’t wear makeup regularly or doesn’t like foundation to invest in this.”

“I like this serum, it’s not greasy and I don’t have a dry itchy scalp anymore. So it’s definitely helping, I think I need to use it more often (I use once every 3 days or so). I also have thick hair, and a lot of it, so I feel like I end up using more than it says I should. My hair and scalp is never oily after I use this. It absorbs nicely. Repeat use is key.”

“I received a sample size of this product, so my review is based on my initial thoughts and not any long term benefits. That being said, I am very impressed with this eye cream. I have tried almost everything and over the past 5 years been using a Japanese eye cream that I love. Whenever I tried a new product (I love product testing) I’d usually noticed a decline in the look of the skin around my eyes within a week. However, the TTTP eye cream is fabulous. The skin around my eyes continues to look bright and dense. The texture could be slightly thicker for night time, but for the day works perfectly. It sinks in immediately and feels great. I have sensitive eyes and this causes zero irritation. I really love this eye cream and would consider purchasing the full size. I would love to see this cream in a tube form, I think the texture would work for this and would keep it a bit more sanitary than a dip pot. That is my only suggestion, other than that, I really think YTTP knocked it out of the park with this eye cream. Well done!”

“It’s a very nice moisturizer as is all the moisturizers from YTTP. I’ve been using YTTP products for many years and religiously use their face wash and air whipped moisturizer (which I’m obsessed with). I recently added their enzyme face scrub which I really like. I can’t say this eye cream is any kind of miracle, like I said it’s a very nice moisturizer but it doesn’t do much beyond that for me personally. I’ve been using it nightly for over 2 weeks and occasionally during the day but I haven’t seen any dramatic change. I’m in my mid 30’s so maybe I need something stronger. It’s not a bad product just not working for me personally.”

SEPHORA COLLECTION Colorful Wink-It Felt Tip Liquid Eyeliner – Waterproof: $14.

These colorful liners can be applied like a traditional liner or used to create a dramatic look. From the blackest black to pastel perfection, each shade offers the highest concentration of pigment, leaving bold lines that never smudge or fade. The no-fray, felt tip applicator ensures extreme precision, so you can achieve your favorite liner looks—quick as a wink. This not my favorite liner. It took me a few tries to get the look I wanted.

I’m in the shade caramel in the original concealer. That one is my favorite. “Ugh, can I please just tattoo these into my skin?
Seriously so beautiful and multi-dimensional, I feel like a fairie in these.
I’ve found that using a TEENSY bit and layering it on in thin layers will not disturb any makeup I have on underneath. So far I’ve tried it on my ultra-sensitive eyes, lips, cheeks, shoulders, and hair. I wore this all over my shoulders and mixed into my favorite Ouai hair oil in my hair for a recent night out and people were almost gasping at my dinner table every time this caught the candlelight. “Don’t bother if you wear foundation
I tried to love this product because of the hype, but it didn’t work for me. I tried under makeup, on top, mixing with foundation, but it kept settling and disturbing my foundation. I tried a beauty blender and a brush. I really wanted it to work! It made my foundation, which is usually smooth, patchy, and gross. I’m not sure how people are using this, perhaps on bare skin. It might be worth it if you don’t wear concealer, foundation, etc.”
