Election Day: Anxiety is Mounting

election day

Hi there my beautiful lovelies! Hope you guys are doing well and staying safe. After a lot of anticipation, the day is finally here. It’s election day.

2020 Election Day is Here:

After months of debates, campaigning, election day is finally here. I am feeling anxious, feeling a butterfly in my stomach. Yes, my friends, I am feeling the election day jitters. Even with intentional living, I am feeling anxious, why? I am human and I am not perfect. I don’t expect to be. With mounts of anxiety running with my veins and heart, I am trying to work.

An unprecedented amount of almost 100 million Americans have cast their vote already. That’s 73% of 2016 total votes. As we have seen already, from the president to his GOP party, has filed several lawsuits to suppress the vote. If that does not motivate you to exercise your right to vote, then what will? Every day, I have been talking to people and motivating them to vote if they have not so.

My dear lovelies! I am going to be short and to the point today. As you have seen in the news, this election, the Republicans have been putting one roadblock after another to block people from voting. W have seen the attempt to toss 127,000 votes. When my vote is being suppressed, I rise up!

What will you do? Will you take all that B.S, or will you rise up and show the oppressors, “Not my vote”. If your answer is later, rise up, and go out in record number to vote and say, “this is my vote and I will not let anyone suppress it. Don’t wake up tomorrow regretting your decision not to vote. Go out and vote, if you have not done already.
