Did Someone Say Chocolate?

Hi there my lovelies! Happy Hump Day everyone! Hope everyone is having a good Wednesday! Do you like Chocolate! What am I saying? Everyone likes chocolate. Hence, when I saw the Chocolate Bar Eyeshadow Palette from Too Faced, I had to get it. Today, I will just go over my experience with you.

Description: This is a beautiful palette that is encased in a playful chocolate bar tin containing 16 matte and shimmering shades scented with real chocolate smell. The palette contains rich selection of browns, neutrals, and a little pop of color.

Verdict: The good thing about this palette is that it is a beautiful palette and the colors are nice. There are mattes, shimmers, glitters, and satin finishes so I can see this working on a lot of different people. Additionally, it is made of really cocoa. Hence, the anti-oxidant properties of cocoa is great and not to mention the smell. However, the negative aspect of the palette includes that couple of the swatches (white chocolate, and strawberry bon bon) just disappeared on my skin. Moreover, Candied Violet also went on sheer and had to be layered for good pigmentation. As far as neutrals go, this palette lacks lacking taupe-type shades. Also, if you do not like the smell of chocolate this palette is not for you. Furthermore, some of the shades can be really flaky and can have a lot of fallout, which can be annoying. However, in order avoid fallouts  make sure to tap your brush well on or you will have flakes under your eyes to clean up.  I personally think that this palette is more for neutral everyday look. However, if you are looking for a bolder look, go with the Semi Sweet or the Chocolate Bon Bon  palette. Overall, this is a nice with beautiful smell. Just make sure that you apply the glittery shades wet for them to show up well.
